Guns N’ Roses

Styling A Guns N’ Roses Band Tee I’m going back to my roots a bit with this outfit, as I used to wear a lot of band tees and black when I was younger. I love looks like these though as I tend to feel really comfortable in them. I chose this t-shirt from Truffle Shuffle, which is a Bristol based shop, and I love it! It’s a faded Guns N’ Roses t-shirt by Amplified. It does run small though, I took a size medium in it and it’s quite fitted, so size up if you want a decent fit! I usually wear an S in t-shirts, if that helps. To complete my look, I went with my trusty L’AGENCE Margot Jeans in Graphite (I know, do I not wear anything else these days?!) and my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers, finished off with my new B-Low The Belt Richie Belt (buy it here), my old Diesel watch, and a new Topman Necklace that Adam bought me for my birthday. This belt is a present that I bought myself as I was looking for a new black and silver piece, but one that didn’t make too much of a statement and it’s absolutely perfect! I’m still loving these shoes too (buy them here) as I wore them all day and they’re so comfy! We shot these photos in Great Pulteney Street here in Bath last week as we were staying in a hotel there for a photoshoot day with House of Cavani, so unlike when my photos are taken in the bright daylight, these were shot in the evening around 8:30pm…

Styling 3 House of Cavani Women’s Tweed Blazers

3 Ways To Style A House of Cavani Blazer Blazers and jackets are a clothing staple that I have loved for years, ever since I got into fashion, and I don’t think that will ever change. Even though my style evolves every single year, my love for blazers remains the same, which is probably why they make up a good portion of my outerwear! With that in mind, I am super excited to be teaming up with House of Cavani to show you how I styled 3 of their brand new women’s tweed blazers! The brand is English based, and is a men’s suit company, but they recently branched out into the ladies department and I’m liking what I see! I even got to model all of the women’s collection on their website for them, which you can check out here. As I know I have a lot of male readers as well, I think this is something for all of you as you guys might want to check out their cool suits! Plus, these jackets are made as women’s versions of their best sellers for men, so if you have a partner, you can twin in your House of Cavani blazers! I am planning to do that with Adam soon when the weather cools down a bit! Anyway, lets get to my styling of these 3 jackets below for you! Cavani Caridi Beige Blazer First up, and my favourite of the 3 blazers, is the Caridi Beige Blazer and I adore it because it’s a beautiful off white, beige shade that matches every single piece of clothing in your…

A Sexy Casual Going Out Outfit

A Casual Going Out Look At The Hotel Since most of my outfits revolve around the daytime looks that I share with you when I go out during the day, I thought it might be nice to showcase some more evening style looks. When it comes to dressing up for the evening though, I don’t tend to go full glam as it’s not really me, so I always have an element of casual in it, which is what this outfit here incorporates. We were at a hotel in Bristol when Adam and I shot these as we were there for a work shoot, but I really like how they turned out. The pieces I was wearing here are a T-Shirt from Pretty Little Thing, combined with one of their Denim Skirts, and then a pair of ALDO Thigh High Boots in Brown. I’m not turning this one into an outfit post either so that you can buy the options as it’s just a very casual look, but I wanted to share the photos as it’s something different for you here on my blog. If you follow me on Instagram you will have already seen a couple of these shots, and amazingly, the torso look is my best photo to date, it’s still going viral right now with the likes and follows, which I’m happy about, so hopefully you all feel the same here and love it too! You can see it on Instagram here and here, for a bit more of an uncensored version if you’re interested, ha ha. When it comes to looks like these though, I’m definitely a…

Sunsets And Pashmina’s

I’m doing a little throwback here to Autumn! Do you remember when I shared couple photos of myself and Adam in the Autumn leaves? Well around that time, I also shot these photos in the sunset of Lansdown Crescent here in Bath as the light was creating a stunning orange glow on the buildings. We only took a few pictures as the light was fading fast, but I think they’re so pretty! They really capture an Autumnal evening after a good day. I never got around to sharing them yet as I had so much other content and this was just a spontaneous shoot, so that’s why I’m not really making it into a full outfit blog post and putting the pieces to buy, as all of these are old. For those of you who do want to know, my top is by Topshop, jeans are by PAIGE, scarf is Zara (borrowed from Adam and worn as a pashmina) and the boots are Sam Edelman. Pretty much all of these pieces are in the couple blog post that I shared a link to above, so you can see them there. Otherwise, how many of you bloggers love doing spontaneous shoots as well? Do you ever see a gorgeous location and the perfect lighting and just feel like it would be a waste not to take that opportunity? I’m always feeling that way if my outfit and make-up is good, it’s a waste if I don’t do a shoot, ha ha. Such a funny mentality to have from an outside perspective! Lorna xx. P.S. – I got shortlisted in the Juliette’s…

It’s A Teddy And Fila Partnership

A Teddy Coat With Fila Disruptor Trainers Happy Thursday! It’s almost Easter, which feels like it’s been coming around for ages! I remember seeing chocolate eggs in the shops just after Christmas, ha ha. I’ve got quite a few plans this weekend, which I’m looking forward to actually, so stay tuned on my Instagram stories to see what I’m up to! I’m going to keep this blog post short as well since there’s not a huge amount to say about this comfy, warm outfit I wore when it was chilly. I was wearing my Topshop Teddy Coat which I layered over my Urban Outfitters Chenille Jumper in White. I of course went with my L’AGENCE Margot Jeans in Graphite again, a firm favourite, and opted for my Fila Disruptor II Trainers to tie it together. This has actually been a uniform I’ve been wearing for a while, I was always reaching for this coat and these trainers, so it became a staple for me. As it’s warming up though I’m switching things out a little and can’t wait to wear less layers! Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend! Don’t eat too much chocolate! As always, let me know what you think of the outfit. Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.

Hunter Coral Wellies Outfit

Hunter Coral Wellies With A Bright Check Scarf I’m doing a little throwback here! Since I ended up shooting so many Autumn photos, I never got around to sharing this set and it got pushed aside in place of my Winter looks! The reason I didn’t share this one sooner though is because I wasn’t sure on it. I absolutely love the combination of bright colours here, but since I don’t really wear much in the way of brights now and my new way of editing photos doesn’t suit Autumn (typically) I couldn’t figure out how to put these to good use. Anyway, I definitely wanted to share as the more I looked at these photos, the more I enjoyed the whole outfit, especially the scarf and wellies paired together. I haven’t used any sort of theme on here, as you can see, I just muted the green of the grass and that’s it, so these photos are pretty much in their natural state here. I was wearing my Hunter Original Tall Wellies in Coral (which you remember from this outfit) and I tucked them into my PAIGE Margot Jeans in Shadow. I chose my Zara Knitted Jumper in Cream to keep a black and white neutral base, then opted for my Joules Checked Scarf as it really complemented the coral in the rain boots. It’s such a gorgeous scarf, isn’t it? The only thing is, when you wrap it around, the bright shades vanish a lot as they get hidden in the tuck, so does anyone know how to wear a square scarf like this and have the middle…

All Brown And Layered

Monochrome Brown Layers Usually I don’t struggle too much when looking for a title for my outfit posts, but this one I did! Eventually I just decided to be literal with it, but I would be very intrigued to hear anyone else’s title ideas that you think would suit this look! Maybe that could be something fun for the Wednesday hump day, you can choose my title and the best one will win! Anyway, Adam and I shot these photos a few weeks back and I had decided that I wanted to wear a neutral looking, monochrome style outfit, but with various shades of brown and warm tones. I actually really like how it turned out as well as I think the key to getting monochrome right is mixing in different textures from the fabrics, with different lengths and fits, as well as the various shades on a colour palette, so it makes it really interesting and not too uniform. When I look at this, even though it’s all quite similar, it’s extremely different at the same time and I like that. It might be one of my favourite comfy and casual looks I have worn this year so far! So, what was I wearing? I opted to create a base of my favourite L’AGENCE Margot Jeans in Graphite, paired with my Allsaints roll neck jumper. I then put my Louis Vuitton belt around the jeans to break it up, but keep with the theme. I threw on my thick knitted cardigan from Pretty Little Thing as it was just the right shade of lighter brown, and then went with…

The Horse Coin Shirt With White Jeans

Topshop Horse Coin Shirt With Jeans So you saw my first outfit with this Topshop Horse Coin Shirt (if you missed it, see it here) and you all really liked the styling with the beige corduroy skirt, so what I have done for the second look is kept everything the same, but swapped out the skirt for a pair of AGOLDE Sophie Skinny Jeans in White, to bring a different vibe and feel to the outfit. The other pieces I was wearing are my Mulberry Small Darley in Oak, my Gucci GG Belt in Tan, and my Jimmy Choo Romy 85 Shoes. I’ve kept the location the same and everything else, so you can really see how different the outfit looks with one piece changed. I was surprised myself actually at how a pair of distressed white jeans makes the ensemble tougher, more casual, and gives it an edge, compared to how chic, feminine and classy it looked before, but both of them still have a playful twist because of the blouse. Since I covered everything else in the previous post, I don’t need to go into too much detail with this article, so I’m going to leave you with the big question of which look you prefer. Do you prefer it with the skirt, or with the jeans? I want to hear your arguments for both! Lorna xx.
