A Sweater Vest With Dr. Martens Jadon Platform Boots

Platform Combat Boots And Sweater Vests Hey everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas? How did you spend it? These are the last of my photos from Autumn when the leaves were still bright orange! Funnily enough, as the seasons are changing more and lengthening, these were taken at the start of December, which seems crazy to think of Autumn lasting more into December than it should! Getting to my outfit, since that’s what you guys come here for, I was wearing a Chi Chi London Cable Knit Sleeveless Knitted Jumper in Tan, which I layered over a Zara White Shirt. This was my first real time jumping into the sweater vest trend this season! I chose black pieces for the rest of the look, including my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite, my Saint Laurent 5 a 7 Bag, and my new Dr. Martens Jadon Hi Leather Platform Boots. I have to say that I’m really into platform combat boots, and lace up boots in general. I brought my brown furry lined Dr. Martens with me to the United States right now and they are so comfortable and warm. I can’t stop wearing them. The Jadon is one step above those in looks though, they’re such a statement and they’re bold, and I love it! I also adore the higher shaft length on this particular pair! Also, stay tuned for my new blog post coming soon as it’s my end of year roundup! As always though, let me know what you think of this outfit and you can buy the pieces in my scroller below! A Zara Camel Blazer With Black Boots

A Camel Blazer With Black Jeans And Boots Happy Sunday everyone! I can’t believe we are just two weeks away from Christmas! That came around so fast, didn’t it? These pictures were shot back in late October, hence why I was able to wear an outfit like this and didn’t freeze. I was actually quite warm! As much as I adore casual looks and comfort, I always gravitate back towards something sleek and smart before long. For this outfit, I wore my American Eagle High Rise Jeggings in Black and paired them with my Abercrombie & Fitch top, my Zara Camel Blazer, my Loeffler Randall Isla Booties, and my Saint Laurent 5 a 7 Bag in Black. I wanted to also showcase a lot of Bath’s heritage in these photos, to complement the outfit, and I think I did just that. The camel and neutral tones really match the Bath stone, and the black just pops and stands out. I got these jeans the last time that I was in America and I have to say, they have quickly become a go to! They are so stretchy and comfortable, while being extremely flattering, and I love that about them. I cannot recommend them enough! They can be dressed up or down, and I own them in multiple colours! The blazer is one that I have owned for over a year and it’s so classic! I can also not get enough of my new bag, and I know you saw it in my Saint Laurent 5 a 7 bag review that I did last month, but if you missed it, check…

A Leather Jacket With Leather Look Leggings

A Leather Jacket With Leather Leggings Outfit It’s Christmas next month! Oh my goodness! Ha ha. I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving if you’re in the United States, you know I love you guys, and I hope everyone took major advantage of the Black Friday sales that were happening – I definitely did! I got some cute pieces that I had kept in my shopping baskets all month, waiting for the discount! Anyway, I thought I would share my last outfit set that I shot in Ohio back in early October. It’s taken me a while to get all of my US content together, but I think this is actually my favourite outfit, so I saved it for last! It’s definitely very me! I was wearing my Allsaints Balfern Leather Biker Jacket in Black, which I layered over a new Zara Dusky Pink Satin Shirt that I purchased while I was out there. I then wore my Commando Faux Leather Leggings in Black, to complement the leather jacket, and finished it off with my Sam Edelman Yaro Suede Sandals and my American Eagle Sunglasses. When I first put this look together, I felt like it reminded me of Sandy from Grease, but in a more modern way with the shirt. I absolutely love black leather (as you know) and I can never get enough of it in outfits. As soon as I put this on, I felt more confident. I don’t know why it does that, ha ha! I’ve been living in this leather jacket though, for weeks. It was the only one that I took with me…

A Casual Green Plaid Cropped Shirt

An American Eagle Outfit With Converse Hey everyone! I know I promised you a second part to my Ohio photo diary, but it’s been a while since I shared an outfit blog post with you, and these were shot in Ohio, with clothes I had purchased there, so that also counts! Christen and I had found this really cool location down town, and I loved how it gave off a Mediterranean feel, even though it was in the middle of America. For this outfit, this top was one of the first things I purchased when I was in the US. I had gone to American Eagle in the mall, for the very first time as we don’t have that store here in the UK, and completely fell in love with it! I ended up going there numerous times, and ordering online, ha ha. Just so I could get more of their clothes! This is one of their trending pieces, a green plaid cropped flannel, which I also picked up in another colour, but the green was something unique for me! If you watched my live I did on Instagram, you will know that I was showing off some of the American Eagle jeans that I purchased too, and these High Waisted Jeggings in Black are one of those. I fell in love with their denim because the fit and comfort is amazing, who knew? These are a size 6 and I adore them! Now getting to the shoes, I literally lived in these Converse! I came across them in Kohl’s, and they have a padded tongue and heel, making them…

Coach Leather Biker Jacket With Saint Laurent Boots

A Coach Leather Biker Jacket Outfit With Saint Laurent West Harness Boots For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you will have seen this gorgeous Coach Leather Biker Jacket in a couple of my live streams. I was doing a new purchases haul a couple of months ago, and I couldn’t wait to share how amazing this is! There’s a little story behind it, so let me tell you! The men’s version of this Coach Biker Jacket is what Christen owns, before I met him, and I absolutely loved it. I never considered buying it myself as it costs too much, however I did try it last year, but felt like it was a bit boxy, so I sent it back. Now there was a Mother’s Day 20% discount a while ago, on the US website, and I asked Christen to purchase it for me (I’d pay him back), and keep it at his until I arrived. That didn’t go to plan as the first one arrived damaged, and without the Rexy charm, and the second one also arrived with flaws, minus the Rexy charm. We couldn’t exchange it again as all of the size 2’s were then out of stock! So I was back to the drawing board. I then couldn’t get the jacket off of my mind (you know how it is!) and decided to finally order just one size 2 on the UK website, at full price, and see what happens. I wasn’t happy about paying so much for it, knowing it could have been discounted, however, the one I received was absolutely perfect! It…

A Balfern Leather Jacket With A Leopard Dress

Allsaints Tiana Slip Dress With A Balfern Leather Jacket Hey everyone! How are you all? I hope you’re well! I haven’t made this announcement yet on my blog as I’ve been waiting for the right time to do it, and that will be next week! There’s something seriously exciting going on right now and I cannot wait to share it with you! It’s definitely a new chapter in my life, but in the meantime, I wanted to share this outfit with you that my mum and I shot recently. I love how it turned out as I put it together on a whim to be honest, a definite spur of the moment look, but as it turns out, I absolutely love it and couldn’t wait to show you all. I was wearing a new Allsaints Tiana Halftone Slip Dress, which I layered my Allsaints Balfern Leather Biker Jacket over, and finished it off with my Sam Edelman Yaro Heels, and a Brixton Black Hat. I took this leopard print dress in size medium as I think the silky slips look a lot nicer with a looser fit, as they hang well. I absolutely love the long length slip dresses like this that Allsaints release, and this season they have so many gorgeous ones! There’s even a new pink one I like. But this particular one is called Khaki Green, and it’s a mix of brown, dark green, and blue within the leopard print, and it’s so cool! I did a post a while ago called ‘what to know before you buy an Allsaints leather jacket‘ and I spoke about sizing…

A Leather Jacket & Ankle Boots

I can’t believe it’s almost May, the time just seems to whizz by and I feel like I’m saying that regularly, but it’s almost halfway through the year now, and that’s absolute madness! Anyway, these photos almost got away! They were shot back in the Autumn (as you can tell) as part of a collaboration with a brand, but that fell through, so I wasn’t going to share them. But as it turns out, I quite liked the outfit and the scenery together, so I thought I would share them with you anyway! I would say that three of my favourite pieces that I love to wear quite regularly are in this ensemble! That would be my Allsaints Balfern Leather Jacket, my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite, and my Saint Laurent West Harness Wyatt Boots in Black. They’re staples that literally go with anything, and I love that kind of versatility! You saw this combination before too, in a very similar way, I just had darker black skinny jeans, and a black t-shirt, but if you missed it, check it out here. I’d love to know what some of your staples are that you wear on a regular basis? Is a leather jacket, black skinny jeans, and black boots part of them? Anyway, please do let me know what you think of this look! Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.

My Subtle, Yet Stylish Festive Outfit

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Merry Christmas Eve! I’m not posting on the actual day, so that’s why I’m wishing you all a very Happy Christmas right now! If you are able to celebrate it, as I know there’s a lot in the UK who are in Tier 4 and aren’t allowed. The times are really hard right now, but I feel like now is the time where we really need to appreciate what we have, the meaning of friends and family, and not taking things for granted. Even just the everyday, simple things like going to the shop, it’s to be appreciated. I also have a couple of posts coming up before December ends, including a roundup of my outfits from 2020, so definitely keep checking back! That will be on the 27th and the 31st! Now getting to my outfit here, I was wearing my old Topshop Rainbow Metallic Jumper/Sweater (which you have seen before here and here). I styled it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Coated Black, as I think this jumper looks amazing with waxed jeans! I then added some festive sparkle with my Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots in Anthracite, and finished it off with my ASOS Western Belt, that I have worn numerous times before. In the past, I have worn an Elf costume or a Mrs. Santa suit, and even some crazy Christmas jumpers, but this year, I wanted to keep it a little more classy, a little more muted, and more matching of my personality at the moment. The jumper itself is knitted with gold metallic threads, so it actually sparkles really nicely…
