Jubilee Inspired – Red, White & Blue

(Jeans – Similar, Sweater – Similar, Bag – Exact (on sale), Shoes – Similar) The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on Tuesday was somewhat of an inspiration to most people over here in England. Everywhere was sporting red, white and blue and flying the Union Jack to mark her 60 years in reign. I think it’s definitely a huge achievement to reach a Diamond Jubilee, so I was inspired to wear a red, white and blue outfit of my own! I’m wearing my Ksubi Bright Blue skinny jeans, an All Saints white sweater/jumper, my ASH Bowie wedge sneakers and my Marc by Marc Jacobs Bars & Bells red bag. It was such a shame that it was raining for most of it, but I suppose us Brits are more than used to the wet weather, so it doesn’t put a dampener (quite literally) on our plans lol! How did you all celebrate the Diamond Jubilee? Did you do anything fun? I watched the concert at Buckingham Palace on TV and loved that! I saw lots of street parties and festivals too! The Bowie & The Hitchhiker

(Jeans – Similar, Shoes – Exact, T-Shirt – Similar, Jacket – Similar) I wore this outfit on the weekend when we went out to lunch at Nandos. I had never tried Nandos before, but I was actually quite suprised at how nice it was. I pretty much burned my mouth having peri peri though so I wont be having that again! You might be able to tell, but I had my hair cut on Friday as well, I had it thinned out as it gets so thick so quickly and I had more of a fringe/bangs put in. I quite like it! I’m wearing Kasil Benater jeans in Hitchhiker, an All Saints t-shirt, a Topshop Mink PU leather jacket and my new Ash Bowie wedge trainers/sneakers. I had been searching for these shoes for months in this Stone colour combination. They were literally sold out everywhere in my size and pretty impossible to find. After weeks of scouring eBay though, they popped up new and in my size! I was so excited, they were cheaper than retail too and I felt like it was fate! I’ve worn them loads already. They did come with an Ash label on the tongue, but since I’m not one for heavy branding, I removed it and I prefer it that way. What do you think? (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

Burgundy Blazers & Black Coated Leggings

An outfit with no jeans! I’m sure that’s what some of you may be thinking, ha ha! This is what I put together for the weekend when I went to lunch with my boyfriend. I’ve always loved the waxed black leggings look, I think they are really classic! I’m wearing Miss Selfridge black coated leggings, my Zara burgundy blazer, my Topshop leopard scarf and bag, an ASOS long sleeved top and my ASH Jeff boots. I fell in love with this bag the moment I saw it! I love the way it combines all of the classic and neutral colours together. My boyfriend bought it for me for Valentines Day and I was so happy! This time I have also included some photos of my lunch! I had pizza, but I don’t have cheese on my pizzas, so I just sprinkled the dry parmesan on it, which I don’t mind as it doesn’t hurt my stomach. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

My Christmas Wish List

Mulberry Oak Lily. We all have our wish list around Christmas time and I have a mixture of things that I would love to own. Unfortunately most of them are expensive so I am hoping those items might go in the sale after Christmas so I can buy them for myself as a late Christmas present with the money I saved up. I am hoping I might get some of the cheaper things though! Like the scarf and the manicure kit! The Mulberry Lily in Oak is my most wanted though so it’s my mission to make one of those mine! I also love the Sam Edelman Petty boots and the J Brand Coated Red 901 Leggings! What are some of the things on your wish list this Christmas? The Shorts With The Boots

This is just a simple outfit I wore a few days ago when I had to pop to town to get a few things with my mum. I picked up some new Bare Escentuals, some new shampoo and conditioner and also a berry coloured dress and crochet top from Urban Outfitters. I’m sure those last two will be making an appearance on my blog soon! I might plan on doing a ‘what’s in my make up bag’ post too if you are interested? I’m wearing my Siwy Alexa shorts, a H&M tank top and gold bangles with a Miss Selfridge embroidered top, a gemstone ring by Topshop, my D&G sunglasses, my Ash Jeff Biss boots and my new Marc by Marc Jacobs Percy in Berry Haze. Also, please excuse that I am a little bloated in these photos, ha ha. I tend to drink a lot more water than usual in the hot weather and it does that to me. This outfit is the first time I have worn my new Percy out too. You can see my post with more pictures of my new bag by clicking here. I’m also beginning to love the combination of boots and shorts now too, I didn’t at first because I thought it made me look short but if the boots are low then I think it looks good. An Autumn Day At The Park

I honestly haven’t been feeling very well lately and it’s been getting on my nerves, I’ve been having a lot of stomach bugs which have been so painful and frustrating. I haven’t been able to do anything fun for a while. This is a casual outfit of mine as I thought I would go to the park for a little while for some peace and quiet and it really helped. I love being surrounded by nature and animals. I find it relaxing and calming. I was wearing my 7 For All Mankind Gwenevere jeans in Zuma Sunrise, a River Island purple/cream patch jacket and Ash Jeff Biss boots. I bought this jacket a couple of weeks ago and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, it’s so warm and cosy! It’s perfect for the cooler weather. I’ve worn it so much already. Also, if you haven’t entered my contest yet, you can, it’s still running and you can win an O.P.I nail polish set! It’s free to enter too. Click here to go to the contest. There are lots of pictures in this post of the ducks, pigeons, squirrels and doves as well. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

The DIY Studded Denim Shirt

I got this shirt from 7 For All Mankind quite some time ago and as I have quite a few denim shirts, I thought I would customize this one. It has the perfect style shoulders for adding some studs too! I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stud the whole of the shoulders so I just did a couple of rows and I love how it looks 🙂 I’m wearing my customized 7 For All Mankind denim shirt, Citizens of Humanity jeggings, my Ash studded cowboy boots from Spartoo and some H&M gold bangles. I know I wear double denim a lot but I can’t help it, you all know how obsessed with denim I am, ha ha! I actually just bought a MiH Safari chambray shirt in the sale from ASOS since it was marked down by a huge amount! I can’t wait for that to get here! I’ve also noticed lately that I don’t get as many comments as before, I’m just wondering if any of you are having trouble with the new comment form that wordpress installed? You can comment with your Twitter, FaceBook or WordPress account or like before, as a guest. I love all of your feedback on my posts 🙂 (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

New Purchases

I have acquired a few new items over the past 2 weeks. I’ve actually been really good for a long time and not bought any clothes until now. I just got a cream blazer from Topshop which I have been looking for for ages. I’ve always thought there is something so classic about a cream blazer, it’s fresh and smart. I also picked up this crochet top at the same time. I got 2 River Island bags, the mini multi coloured one is my favourite, it’s dainty and the perfect size. I’m unsure if I am keeping the pink satchel though. I also got these Ash Jeff Bis boots courtesy of Spartoo and the Moccasins from River Island. Have you bought anything new lately?
