As usual, here is my poll will all of my outfits from April. There are 10 in total and you can vote for your favourite 2 looks in the poll below. I like doing these as I get to know what type of outfits I wear, you like the most. It also shows me that I generally dress depending on my mood rather than actually have a certain style! Please also comment and let me know! Also, I announced on my FaceBook and on my Twitter that I just launched my blog shop! I have been working on setting it up and I currently have 31 items listed in there and will continue to add more over the weeks. The shop will contain all of my own clothes and accessories, the ones that I don’t wear anymore or ones that I haven’t ever worn so I am letting them go. Please check out my shop here!
As promised, here is a post dedicated to my hidden heel high top collection. I sort of became a little bit obsessed with these many months ago and have slowly been buying a few pairs here and there throughout the year. I now have 4 pairs and I am pretty happy with that as I have black, burgundy, camel and beige, so I think I am all set with colours as I have all of the colours I need. They are always my go to when it comes to just grabbing a pair of shoes. They are so comfortable, you don’t even feel the heel at all.
This year has been one of the better years for me in terms of my blog. I re-designed the whole site all by myself, but the thing that sets it apart from the other years is I know make my outfits the main focus of my fashion blog as well as getting an increase in views every single month. I can’t believe I hit over 50,000 page views each month now, it’s doubled since last year. I’m hoping 2013 will be even better! But as I do every single year, here is my annual round up of outfits from 2012 that I liked the most and were my favourites. The post would be huge if I included every single one, so I only ever include my favourites. I feel like my style has matured a lot over the year as well. I still love colour and mixing textures, and of course wearing jeans, but I tend to favour a lot of neutrals and simplicity now too. I’ve definitely matured a bit in terms of fashion. I love that fashion always reflects who you are as a person too though and represents your personality. So, which ones do you like the most?
(Jeans – Exact, Jacket – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Rings – Exact, Socks – Exact, Shoes – Exact) This is the second outfit post for my styling challenge with Sarenza. If you remember back in the Summer they gifted me these beautiful Jeffrey Campbell Foxy shoes with spiked heels and I had to style them twice. For the first outfit, I chose to double up on studs (which you can see here) and for this second outfit, I decided to go camo to show how they work with socks for the Autumn. I’m wearing Citizens of Humanity Leatherette jeans, Purple socks, Spiked rings, a Military shirt and Camo jacket all from Topshop and my Jeffrey Campbell Foxy spiked heels. What do you think of the outfit? I wanted a pop of colour with the socks, but I wasn’t completely sure they went with the outfit, but with the overall look I think it looks a little quirky and different so I have grown to like it. Did you all have a nice weekend?
Mulberry Candy Pink French Purse. Since Valentines Day is right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to put a little post together of the things I like and think are appropriate for Valentines Day! Keeping with the theme of pink and red (for romance and love of course) I have piled together loads of items that I found online. Some are very cheap while others are quite expensive. I like to include a mix. I personally would love everything in this list! Especially the Mulberry purse above, the Ksubi pink jeans, the Christian Louboutin Pigalle Platos, the glittery nail polish and the Azendi love birds necklaces! Just as a clue to one of my upcoming posts next week, I recently received a parcel in the mail and it contains one of these pink items… That’s all I will say! Maybe some of you regular readers will guess it! It’s something I have wanted for a long time and saved for… (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook) Topshop Nail Polish In Ice Crush. I first noticed the neon trend when I was attending the SS12 press days in London late last year. Pretty much every brand that I saw had something neon or fluro in their collection and I knew it was going to be big! Since then, I have been watching online as all of the stores are slowly releasing the trend. So many items are now in neon and I think it’s amazing! I’m a big fan of the trend! I know for some of you it’s a flash back to the 80’s, but since I was born at the end of that decade, I wasn’t around for it so I am excited to be wearing it now! The image above is from the Aldo collection, but I have included some of my favourite neon pieces for Spring/Summer 2012 below! What do you think of the neon trend? Those Brian Atwood heels are incredible! I also adore the neon Marc by Marc Jacobs bag and of course, neon denim! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook) Brian Atwood Alima Neon Patent Pumps. I am always in amazement when I look at peoples closets, especially celebrities, the amount of organization, home staging thought and clothes in them is just so surreal to me! I could only ever dream of having a closet as amazing as some of these! My bedroom pretty much is my closet, it consists of a double bed, a bedside table, a fish tank, 2 big wardrobes, a shoe shelf and a drawer unit, all of which are for clothes, shoes and accessories. It would be amazing to have a separate room for clothes though! My favourites in this post have to be Khloe Kardashian’s shoe closet above and below, it’s incredible! I also love Ashley Tisdale’s organization and denim collection as I do Eva Longoria’s. I’m very envious! Christina Aguilera has a ladder for her shoes and it’s all pink, I love that too! Which do you love? (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
I am beyond excited to finally share with you the collaboration I am doing with Paige Premium Denim. Paige asked me to do a collaboration with her last year and we have been talking back and forth for a while, discussing ideas, and we finally came up with this wash. It’s called the Lorna wash and it’s a gorgeous medium to dark blue with 2 distressed areas. This is an exclusive pair called the Tristan that’s available only at Selfridges right now. The other Summer jeans from the main collaboration will be available soon in 5 different cuts in this Lorna wash. The cuts will include the Lou Lou Tulip Flare and the Skyline Skinny but you will have to wait and see what the other cuts are! The Tristan has a double back pocket detail as you can see and both act as working pockets, they are not just for aesthetic reasons. The lining is in pink floral which is both mine and Paige’s favourite colour. The Summer collaboration jeans will feature a poem/saying on the hang tag in memory of my grampy who unfortunately passed away last year and some information about the collaboration. The Tristan doesn’t have the special hang tag as it’s an exclusive because Selfridges loved the wash so much and wanted them quickly. I really am so excited to finally be able to announce this to you! I’ve been eagerly awaiting it and keeping it hushed which was difficult, ha ha! You can read the official announcement on DenimBlog here and these Tristan jeans in the Lorna wash are available to buy online and…
