2 Ways To Style White Jeans & Knitwear

2 Different White Outfits For Spring & Summer With Spring being in full swing, it makes sense to break out the white denim, doesn’t it? Summer is in one month, as it’s mid June when it’s officially Summer here in the UK, and one of the shades we always gravitate towards in the warmer weather is white! I wanted to put two different looks together here, to show you how you can transition a white pair of jeans and a white cropped knit, over the two seasons! There’s one for when it’s a little bit chilly, and one look for when it’s warmer. For the first look, I styled my Abercrombie & Fitch White Skinny Jeans and White Zara Cropped Knit with a Zara Coat that I threw over my shoulders, my Gucci GG Belt, my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers, and my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack. I think this combines neutrals and tans really nicely, but it’s ideal for a windy day, or a more overcast weather situation (we’re very much used to that here in England, aren’t we?!). The second look is a little more playful, so I styled my Abercrombie & Fitch White Skinny Jeans and White Zara Cropped Knit with my Jacquemus Le Chiquito Noeud Pink Bag, my Gucci GG Belt, and my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers again. So as you can see, all I really did to switch this one up was remove the coat, and bring in a bright pop of pink with my choice in bag. That alone really makes it Summer appropriate because you’re injecting some vibrancy and colour into the…

2019

Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe that 2019 is officially over now? This year flew by and it’s been the year of so many changes and so much growth for me! I thought I would do my annual round up of the months, sharing things that happened and my favourite outfits from those months, to reflect and take a look back on the year as a whole. I’ve done a lot this year in regards to working on myself, and I know 2020 is going to be my year! A very big year for me! I feel it! JANUARY January was a very chilled month, but I attended the Gillette launch party as Adam was an ambassador for the brand for a few months. It was really cool! I know you guys probably remember it, but if you don’t, you can click here to read about it. FEBRUARY February was the month that I changed my blog theme around, started editing my photos differently, and stuck with a more classic, clean, simple approach that I’m still using now. I love it! It snowed too, which was incredible as we managed to get some amazing shots, but this month contained some of my favourite outfits entirely! MARCH Spring was approaching and I worked with Amazon on my body confidence post for the lingerie, and The Cambridge Satchel Company for their Emily tote! I remember looking around for ages trying to find blossom or purple flowers to complement the bag in photos! APRIL April was one of the best months for me in 2019! I finally attended my Shawn Mendes concert…

New Mulberry Pale Slate Bags For Summer

Mulberry Small Darley in Pale Slate As you know, I have been a fan of Mulberry since way back before 2010 when I opened this blog. It would be over 10 years now that I’ve loved the brand. My blog post that I wrote not long ago about the classic Mulberry bags that you need is one of my best performing posts this year, so I thought I would share with you the brand new colour leather from the brand that is gorgeous! It’s a perfect pale blue named ‘Pale Slate’ so I assume it has grey undertones, but what I am attracted to most, other than the cool and beautiful shade of leather, is the silver hardware. Usually Mulberry go for a brass or gold, so this is a nice change as I think this blue tone suits silver the most! It comes in almost all of their bag styles, accessories, and keyrings, as well as a 70’s print, but I’ve chosen 6 of my favourite Mulberry bags in Pale Slate to share with you! First up (above) is the Mulberry Small Darley (you might remember I reviewed it in Oak) and it’s my favourite that I have added to my wish list! The Small Darley is one of their iconic bags with the signature postman’s lock and is perfect for carrying essentials or valuables as it’s quite petite. It’s only 13cm by 19cm by 4.5cm, so you can see it’s the perfect small and compact design! I’m planning to check the Mulberry shop in Somerset soon as I drive past it, just to see how gorgeous this is…

14 Ways To Wear A Celine Nano Luggage Bag

14 Ways To Wear A Celine Nano Luggage Bag When I shared my Celine Nano Luggage Bag review with you back in September 2016, it was obvious that I loved the bag. It’s one I had wanted for years, but always thought I would never be able to get, but after saving up for it and buying it at the Mount Street boutique in London almost two years ago, I’ve never looked back. I know sometimes there can be regrets when making such a big purchase, but I’ve never felt one ounce of remorse with this Celine Nano Luggage. In fact, I realised it’s my most worn bag, my most versatile bag, and the one I will always reach for. With that in mind, I thought I would count up the amount of times I have worn it on my fashion blog over the past 22 months – the answer is 14! Considering I have a love for designer handbags and have quite a few different ones, 14 is a lot, and that’s just the amount of times it’s been featured on the blog, I have of course worn it numerous times when not doing outfit photos as well. Since my Celine Nano Luggage in Dune is my most used and most featured bag here, I wanted to share 14 ways to wear it! Due to its colour, the versatility is incredible, plus the shape and design means you can style it in a more classic and sophisticated way, or you can dress it down for casual days. I do both, as you can tell, and it works perfectly with…

Styling A Nasa Cap With Gucci Accessories

A Gucci Belt & Bag Styled With A Black Outfit Happy Saturday everyone! I finally watched Avengers: Infinity War yesterday as I usually wait a week or so to limit the crowds, but I still ended up with noisy people in the cinema, being irritating (I seriously hate that!). I wont give out any spoilers, don’t worry! I was avoiding social media all week as I didn’t want to spoil it, but as it turns out, I found some parts of it quite boring and long, but the rest was great. I expected this one to be partly boring due to it building up for part two. But then maybe I just didn’t get enough Cap screen time, ha ha. Has anyone else seen it? Thoughts? For this outfit, I wanted to go for something quite different and mix a few elements into one. I was wearing a Tobi Kari Choker Bodysuit which I paired with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans in Black Leatherette (seen here), finished with a Gucci GG Belt in Black. I thought this made a great base for the outfit as the different shades of black worked well together, but seamlessly, broken up nicely with the gold buckle on the belt. Then for my accessories, I opted for my Christian Louboutin Pigalle in Black to give my legs some height, then chose my Gucci Marmont Mini GG Back in Black Velvet to match my belt and keep it classy. I finally added in my NASA Cap just to make it a little bit more sporty and casual – I didn’t want it to be too…

Gucci GG Marmont Velvet Mini Bag Review

Gucci GG Marmont Black Velvet Mini Bag Review I’m really excited to share with you my brand new bag – the Gucci GG Marmont Black Velvet Mini Bag! I’ve literally been selling so many things from my wardrobe in order to save up for two new bags this year as it’s been 7 months since my last smaller bag purchase (can you believe the last bag I bought was September 2017…) and I’ve been wanting something new. I’ve sold so many clothes and raised enough money to buy this one and am still saving for my second. But first up is my new, extremely beautiful bag, which I cannot wait to wear and show you in outfits! If you’re interested in this bag yourself, check out SSENSE right now as it’s still priced lower and everywhere else now has the price increased version. Don’t miss out, the links are just below! Let me know if you have any questions. The Design & Details I’m pretty sure most of you are familiar with the Gucci GG Marmont Velvet Bags in all sizes – they have been the bag of the season for 2017 and this year as well. It’s a classic flap bag style with a really sturdy, press button lock/clasp (similar to the Gucci Dionysus) so it stays securely shut. It’s got chevron velvet with stitching as you can see to create a gorgeous quilted pattern, including a heart on the back. The hardware is antique gold or brass, making the GG logo and the chain much more durable as it’s already got that vintage appearance and you wont be…

My Favourite Outfits Of 2017 + New Years Resolutions

2017 In Reflection The year is now over and it’s time to look back at 2017 and when I reflect, it’s filled with mixed emotions. I can’t say that I’ve done anything remarkable as I’ve been trying to look after my health this year and sort that out. I’ve made a lot of progress with my stomach issues and feel like I am on the right path, but it hasn’t been easy. Because of this, doing anything fun has been quite difficult. Our holiday to St. Ives in June was even quite stressful because my body was reacting so badly to food, heat and walking, so it’s definitely been a year that’s been testing. I’ve managed to do a few things like enjoy pottery painting for my birthday, the visit to the reindeer farm, attend my Buddhist group classes, and mostly enjoy things like cinema visits, park trips, working to rescue animals and the little things. I’ve noticed how much stress and anxiety really play a part in my health too, which is why I am deciding to actually make new years resolutions for 2018. 10 New Years Resolutions For 2018 I never usually do this as I don’t see the point, I make changes as and when I want to, like I usually do. However, I’m feeling a bit more proactive and making some goals for 2018 seemed like a good idea. I’m going to be 30 this year and everything seems to have flown by so quickly. I really can’t believe I’m hitting that big 30 number, so there’s a few things I need to start changing and…

My 7 Must Have Premium Skinny Jeans

My 7 Must Have Premium Skinny Jeans – I Live In Them! When it comes to denim, I’ve been working with it since I was about 18 (almost 12 years). I have written about my back story and how I got into jeans and premium denim in the first place (read it here), and even though I own The Jeans Blog, which is where I publish everything denim related, including my denim reviews, I thought it might be nice to share something jeans related here too! I know a lot of you aren’t always interested in my other blog as it’s not personal, therefore missing my reviews etc, so I’ve decided to put together my Top 7 Premium Skinny Jeans that are a must have! These are skinny jeans that I live in and have found myself reaching for at all times. I own over 400 pairs of jeans in my collection, so narrowing it down to the final 6 was actually easier than I thought. I’ve got a lot of jeans that I love, some that are sentimental, and some that are collectors pieces, so I went for the jeans that I constantly wear and that go with most of my outfits. These are my staples and they’re in no particular order either – they’re all of value in different ways! – Click the large title name for each pair of jeans to buy them.  GRLFRND Candice Skinny Jeans in Love Hangover I own two pairs of the GRLFRND Candice Skinny Jeans in Love Hangover. I own the full length version and the petite version (seen above) and I…
