Saint Laurent 5 A 7 Bag Review

Saint Laurent 5 A 7 Bag Review I am super excited to be sharing this bag with you! The last designer bag that I purchased was my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack, back in the Summer of 2020, so it’s been over a year and a half since I got a new bag. I was originally saving up for a Saint Laurent Kate, with the gold tassel, and I do still love that bag a lot, but after having spent 7 weeks away from home with only an affordable shoulder bag (by House of Want) and my Louis Vuitton, I found myself gravitating towards the shoulder bag as it was just so easy to carry and use! I kept seeing the Saint Laurent 5 A 7 Bag around on people, and I began to fall head over heels in love with it! So, I started putting my savings towards this bag instead. Then something amazing happened while I was in the United States, Matches Fashion had sent me a £300 off coupon (they do this a few times a year) to be spent on an order over £1000. The Saint Laurent 5 A 7 was actually sold out on their website though, so I got in touch with their customer service to see if it would be restocked, and low and behold, a return had been made and was going to be put back in stock in two days time! I got really excited by this as there was just one of these bags available, and I had to make sure I got it! I set my alarm for…

Why You Need These 6 Classic Mulberry Bags

Why I Love Mulberry & 6 Classic Bags To Buy I’ve had a bit of a roller coaster ride with Mulberry over the years. It was my first designer bag brand that I truly loved and that was back in 2011, I even met the founder, Roger Saul, at Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet where the brand was founded (there’s still an outlet shop there where I bought my very first Mulberry bag) as it’s not too far from my city of Bath. I used to love the fact that the bag designs were classic, yet cool, and were definitely affordable compared to other high end designers. I own 6 Mulberry bags which I pretty much got between 2011-2013 and after that, I sort of went off the brand a bit in favour of others, and I will tell you why. Instead of all Mulberry bags being made in England where their factory was, they started outsourcing to China and Turkey which I thought was a bit unfair. Some were still made in England, but the majority were not and they were still keeping the same price tag even though they weren’t being made here. This really did put me off as they had had an increase in prices too, which I thought wasn’t right given the facts. However, a couple of years ago the brand did quite a large price increase (compared to what they used to cost) and I was even more shocked, but I didn’t realise why at the time. Anyway, I wore my Mulberry Lily in Oak on holiday a few weeks ago (see here) and…

My Cavtat Croatia Travel Diary

Hey everyone! I said I would update you with a Croatian travel diary and let you know where I stayed etc., and here it is! I am no longer in Croatia, I took a flight out of Dubrovnik on Tuesday, into Newark in New Jersey, USA! Then took a connecting flight to Ohio, to finally stay with Christen! Remember I was telling you guys on 4th of July that I wanted to finally get to the United States and spend my time with Christen? Well, I’m FINALLY HERE! It was almost a full 24 hour day of travelling. The flight from Croatia to Newark was almost 10 hours, and then I had a 4 hour layover, then an hour and a half flight into Columbus, Ohio, where Christen met me. After knowing each other online for an extremely long time, to finally be in person is amazing! So I will be updating you all with a post on how things are here, and a USA travel diary too, but for now, check out my photos below and what happened in Croatia! I absolutely love these photos here at sunset! As you know I travelled to Croatia alone for 16 days, but I did end up making friends. There were a couple of girls in the same apartment building as me, and they were alone too, and we hit it off! You can see some pics of them below, but I’ve definitely made friends for life and it was so much fun going out to dinner sometimes and sightseeing! The sunsets were beyond stunning though, so you can’t really go wrong…

Snake Print Leather Skirt With Thigh High Boots

Snake Print Leather Skirt With Thigh High Boots Happy Weekend everyone! The story behind this outfit is an interesting one, ha ha! I put this look together a few months ago (maybe 4-5) and I took it with me on a previous shoot, so that I could take pics of it, but unfortunately never got around to it as other looks took precedence. I then took it with me a second time, and the same thing happened! So third time lucky, my mum and I actually got to shoot this outfit a few weeks ago, finally! So here it is! And as it turns out, I love it! I think it might be one of my favourite looks that I’ve put together in recent years! For this look, I had on my Allsaints Lena Oba Leather Snakeprint Skirt, which I tucked my 525 Beige Roll Neck Top into. I layered my Zara Oatmeal Coat over the top of my shoulders, pulled my DUO Empress Over The Knee Boots on, and finished it off with my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack. This skirt is actually one of my favourites as I love the snakeprint on it! Sometimes this kind of print can come across as trashy, but Allsaints did a fantastic job of keeping it classy! I also think that mixing it with neutrals, different fabrics, and proportions, is a key way to keeping it styled and chic. It’s in the sale currently, and does run a little bit big in terms of sizing. I would love your opinion on this outfit too! What do you think? Lorna xx. *This…

Allsaints Tan Suede Balfern With Flared Jeans

Allsaints Suede Balfern With Cropped Flared Jeans Happy Monday everyone! I hope your week goes well! The weather finally warmed up somewhat recently and my mum and I were able to go out and shoot some photos for a little while, making sure to avoid anyone else out walking since we’re still in lockdown. How are you all anyway? For this outfit, I put together something a little bit different, but also classic for me. I wore my new Allsaints Tan Suede Balfern Jacket that I got in a size up so that I could wear it over my 525 Roll Neck Jumper in Cream. I then styled it with my new PAIGE Claudine Cropped Flares in Seaspray Distressed, which I wrapped my Gucci Mini Belt in Tan around the waist, and then finished it off with my Topshop Snake Print Boots. Now you know me, I’m always a skinny jeans girl and I rarely ever wear anything but skinny jeans, but when I saw these PAIGE Jeans, I fell in love with them. The cropped flared fit is the perfect length for my shorter height, as it means I can wear them almost full length. Plus, they’re super comfortable and the wash is beautiful, so I’m thinking of reviewing these jeans soon on The Jeans Blog. I will let you know when I do! Now getting to the suede jacket, isn’t it incredible? You’ve probably read my Allsaints Balfern Leather Jacket review before, but if you haven’t, you will know that the Balfern is my favourite design of theirs. I own numerous jackets in that cut, and this one…

Allsaints Leowa Maxi Dress With Knitwear

Knitwear Over A Maxi Dress Outfit Isn’t this two piece dress just incredible? I had to start this blog post off with that sentence, because it’s how I feel every single time I look at it. I noticed this Allsaints Leowa Fusion 2 in 1 Dress a month or more ago on their website and I completely fell in love with it. The retail price for such a statement dress was a bit much for me though, so I ended up purchasing it at 30% off during the Black Friday discounts! It’s now even cheaper though and has 40% off, so I recommend snapping it up if you think it’s gorgeous too! I took a size medium in this two piece as the size small dress underneath was a bit too tight in the chest area, so the medium ended up giving a much nicer, casual fit. I wasn’t too sure on the knitted jumper/sweater that comes with it as it’s a little itchy with the wool content, but after a few minutes I got used to it and it was ok. Another thing I wasn’t sure on was the length, I thought it would be too long for me, but as it turns out, it’s the most perfect height for my ankle boots! I wanted to keep this whole outfit simple, but statement, so I paired this Allsaints Leowa Dress with my Gianvito Rossi Gold Boots, and finished it off with my Celine Nano Luggage Bag in Glazed Nut. Just two simple accessories to complete the outfit, but they make a statement on their own and sit well with…

How To Style A Smock Tunic Dress For Autumn

The Autumn Smock Dress With Knee High Boots I am really excited to be sharing a three part series of outfit blog posts in collaboration with Blue Vanilla with you! This is the first post and I had so much fun shooting these photos with my mum last week. Isn’t the Autumn backdrop just gorgeous? It was the perfect scenery for this stunning Blue Vanilla Elena Smock Floral Print Tunic Dress! Now I have never really worn this kind of dress before, a smock tunic has never been something that I gravitated towards, but as soon as I saw it on their website, I completely fell in love with it! Not only is the orange shade really vibrant and intense, it has a 70’s vibe that I think is really cool. It’s the perfect design for wearing with boots and accessorising this time of year. There’s a floatiness to it that allows it to hang and move freely with your body, making it incredibly flattering. Sometimes this amount of material without a slim fit can often overwhelm your body, but this dress hangs off the body perfectly. The cropped, bell style sleeves are a great addition to the design too, and the V neckline is incredibly flattering as it slims you down. I don’t think they could have designed this any better! How To Style A Smock Tunic Dress For Autumn For my outfit, I paired the Elena Smock Dress with my DUO Brown Suede Boots, my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack, and a few pieces of gold jewellery, to set it off. The bold red lip, which is…

The Knitted Maxi Skirt Outfit

A Knitted Maxi Skirt With Snake Boots I didn’t mean to take a full week off again, but life has been crazy the last week! I was in Bristol from Thursday to Sunday for a lot of Autumn shoots with Adam, then on Monday I was invited to the Last Christmas UK premiere in London, and a VIP Christmas lights switch on with Emma Thompson and Emilia Clarke on Tuesday. I got back super late on Tuesday night, rested a lot on Wednesday and caught up with a few things, and now today I’m back doing work. I plan on doing an update post on all of it with photos very soon, but for those of you who are interested, you can check out my highlight on Instagram (click here) to see all the videos! This outfit is a look I wore to Bristol and we shot these photos in Queen Square, which is a really beautiful park area with lots of pretty buildings all around. It was pretty chilly, but not cold enough that I couldn’t wear a skirt and I had been wanting to wear my new The Mia Midi Skirt by L’Academie, which was gifted by Revolve Clothing, as it’s such a beautiful stretch knit, with a thicker material, so it’s perfect for the cooler weather, despite the split up the side. I wanted to make this outfit perfect for Autumn, which is why I styled the skirt with my Zara Knit in Cream, then finished it off with my Topshop Snake Print Boots and my brand new Celine Nano Luggage in Glazed Nut that I got…
