12 Must Have Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers

Image courtesy of Fashionedchic.com 12 New Must Have Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers One of my obsessions is Golden Goose Deluxe Brand. They were founded in 2000 after merging the creative spirit of Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. Over the years, they have grown into a huge designer brand with flagship stores all over the world, and it’s one that many fashion lovers are drawn to. I’ve known about Golden Goose for years and I would often check out the collection on FarFetch as they always had an amazing selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always thought they were quite expensive and looked too similar to Converse, so they were always shoes that were just in the back of my mind. A couple of years ago, Adam was the one who originally loved the brand and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what inspired me to look into them more. Having seen his in person and seeing how each pair of their shoes is completely unique because they’re handmade in Italy – I was more intrigued. As the Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers are pre-distressed and made to look used and abused, they are all hand done so there’s no two pairs alike. Some have much more abrasions and dirt than others, so there’s a whole spectrum. If you’re choosing in person, it might be a good idea to ask to see a few of the same shoe and choose, but if you’re ordering online, you have to hope you get a good pair! The pair of sneakers…

Gucci Brixton Loafers Review

Gucci Brixton Horsebit Leather Loafers Review I’m really excited to do this review for you! I had been eyeing up the Gucci Brixton Loafers since 2018! I own two pairs of Gucci Princetown slip on mules, and I adore them, but I had always wanted a comfortable pair of loafers with the backs on, but never managed to get a cheaper pair that fit that bill. I have sensitive skin on the back of my heels and everything would always give me blisters! Anyway, last month, I finally bit the bullet and decided to purchase the Gucci Brixton in White and here we are! Let me get to the review for you! Sizing: In terms of sizing, the Gucci Brixton is very true to size. I took a size 39.5 consistently in my two pairs of Princetown loafers, and I am a 39.5 in the Brixton as well. I vary between a 39 and 40 in most brands, and having tried those sizes too, 39 was way too small, and 40 was too big, so the 39.5 is perfect. If you’re like me and you vary between two sizes, try the half size and it should be good! Their loafers are quite narrow, so if you do have wider feet, you might want to size up, that’s what I’ve heard! Style: The Brixton is an absolute classic! It’s the perfect shaped loafer in my opinion as it looks classy, minimal, stylish, and smart, but it can also be worn casually. The one thing that attracted me to this particular design over the Jordaan is the fact that the back is…

Christian Louboutin Ultimate Buying Guide

Christian Louboutin Ultimate Buying Guide A lot of you ladies have come to me over the past couple of years for Christian Louboutin advice. A post I did back in 2010 (click here to see post) about sizing advice and getting your Christian Louboutin shoes to fit, is still my most popular post on my blog to date and has almost 400 comments with questions and answers regarding his shoes. With that in mind, I thought it was about time that I did a new post which is more in depth about finding the right Christian Louboutin shoe for you and your feet, as well as letting you know how to get authentic pairs at cheaper prices (no fakes) and learning to be comfortable in them. Through my shoe life span I have had about 20 pairs of Louboutin shoes, but currently remain with 11 in my collection. I don’t wear them often at all on my blog as I class them as very special shoes and I rarely ever wear them for everyday wear. I usually only break them out on occasions that warrant fancy shoes. The main reason I don’t wear them often though is because of comfort. I find his shoes to be highly painful and it’s somewhat of an art form getting them to fit correctly without killing your feet. Msr. Louboutin himself doesn’t have any sympathy for the pain his shoes inflict as he once stated: I really have not so much sympathy. If Tina Turner and Prince’s back-up band can perform on stage in them for three hours, you can’t tell me they are…

Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots Review

Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots Review It’s been a little while since I brought you a new review, my last one was the Alexander McQueen oversize sneakers review, which went down really well, and now I’m doing the Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots review for you! These are the brand’s famous combat style boots and I think they’re so cool! The description on the website is this: The Cruz Flat in anthracite metallic grainy leather is a very stylish option for the winter season. Channeling a rebellious mood, this boot is detailed with a unique stitching design and embedded crystals making it a stand-out style. Pair them with your favorite jeans or a feminine skirt for a stylish outfit. And that really is what made me fall in love with them, the design. I’d initially only liked the black pair as I hadn’t paid much attention to other colours, but when I was in London a couple of months ago, I kept seeing the Anthracite shade and it just took my breath away. That’s when I knew that I had to have that colour, even though they were sold out in my size. I looked around online for ages for size 40 as they were out of stock in most places, and I managed to find two available, however the first time I ordered from FarFetch, I was sent the complete wrong item. So it took a while to get hold of these beauties, but I’m glad I persevered, because third time lucky meant I got my perfect size and I got them for 50% off in the holiday sales during Black…

Alexander McQueen Oversized Trainers Sneakers Review

Alexander McQueen Oversized Trainers Sneakers Review I’m doing a review on the Alexander McQueen Oversized Trainers that have been popular for a while now! It’s a style that has been out for years, but is very much catching on in the trend department at the moment, and with good reason too! They’re a white smooth calf leather, lace-up sneaker, trimmed with metallic heel detailing. You might remember them as they’re the sneakers that had the iridescent back that everyone loved last year! I’ve done a review on everything about these shoes! So read below and check out the photos to see what I think! Let me know in the comments too if you have any questions, plus you can check out all of the places to buy these online at LuisaViaRoma, NET-A-PORTER, My Theresa and Matches, or by them directly at Alexander McQueen! The Design I had been attracted to the look of a sturdy, bright white, designer sneaker for a long time, but I hadn’t come across one that I thought was cool, until I saw these. I love the fact that they combine an old Adidas vibe, with a current, trendy look. There’s a chunkiness to them as they’re oversized in style, which makes these Alexander McQueen trainers just amazing to look at. As you can see, they’re incredibly eye catching and what drew me to them in the first place was the different coloured backs that you can get. It’s such a unique feature and one that I think makes them stand out from all the rest! The rounded toe and thick laces remind me of the…

The Best Dad Sneakers For 2019 With Futuristic Inspiration The dad sneakers trend has been going strong all throughout 2018, but did you know that 2019 is going to be even bigger for these chunky, large trainers? So many different brands are releasing their own versions of dad sneakers this year, but do you want to know the coolest thing? A lot of the popular styles from last year are still hot now, plus the newer designs are getting more futuristic and cooler than ever before, so now is the perfect time to invest in a pair! I did my Fila Disruptor II review a couple of months ago after getting a pair of them (I resisted the trend for months, and caved in when I fell in love with these) and since then, I’ve been addicted, and on the hunt for my next pair. With that in mind, I thought I would do a roundup of the 12 coolest dad sneakers for 2019! Fila Disruptor II Trainers Review

My Fila Disruptor II Trainers Review If you remember my statements from a while ago, I was never, ever a fan of the dad sneaker trend. I thought the giant, cumbersome sneakers were a really terrible design and were incredibly unflattering, and I vowed never to jump on board the trend. However, that actually changed when I saw the Fila Disruptor! I never thought about them before, and it’s a story where I ate my own words actually, because Adam had been really into the dad trainers and wanted the Balenciaga Triple S, so when we were in Urban Outfitters, I said to him, try on this pair of Fila’s (having never seen them before) and see how terrible they look, then you wont need to buy any. When he put them on, they actually looked really cool, and since I can’t lie, I had to eat my own words, ha ha. Since then, I’ve still grown fonder of them daily and I actually ended up getting them first instead of Adam. Funny how things work out isn’t it? Since so many people seem to be a huge fan of the Fila Disruptor, I thought I would do a review for you and share all of my advice from sizing and comfort, to design etc. Let me know if you have any questions at all! Leave them in the comments below. The Fila Disruptor Sizing I’m starting with sizing first as I found this to be most awkward. I’m a standard UK 6-7 in shoes, and mostly a UK 7 when it comes to trainers/sneakers. I generally wear a 7…

You know I live in them during the Autumn and Winter months, and they are the perfect staple for making outfits look so chic! There’s lots of designer over the knee boot options, but for me I personally love Stuart Weitzman as they make some amazing, fashionable, but sexy boots! You really cannot go wrong with them at all!
