The Faviola Geometric Boots Outfit

It’s always been constantly raining here in England. I know that’s a cliche, but it actually has. I swear it’s rained 90% off this year! Taking outfit photos has been pretty tricky, waiting for the rain to stop, the light to be right, etc. but I actually think the wet ground added a pretty element to these photos. This was the second set of photos from my GEOX collaboration on Instagram (see the first here) and it features a look I put together, centered around the Faviola Boots. They have such a cool geometric design in suede, using burgundy, grey, and navy, to make a statement. I paired them with my Reiss Scarlet Teddy Coat, my Topshop Faux Leather Skirt, and a Mango Tank Top. It’s a pretty simple combination and one that I think turned out quite nicely, as it’s chic, put together, smart, yet still stylish and fun. So, this rounds out my last outfit post of the year 2019! My next blog post is going to be a roundup of the year, and looking forward to 2020. Can you believe how fast it’s all gone? I think this look here though, with GEOX, is a great way to end the blogging year! What do you think? Lorna. *AD – I wasn’t paid for this blog post, as my collaboration with GEOX was for Instagram only, however I love the way the photos turned out so I’m sharing them here too!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

It’s Christmas! Are you hanging up a stocking on your wall? It’s the time that every Santa has a ball Does he ride a red-nosed reindeer? Does a ton-up on his sleigh? Do the fairies keep him sober for a day? Christmas came around fast this year, didn’t it? I haven’t really put up any decorations this year, we haven’t really been feeling entirely festive. I was sick for a while with a cold and a flu, so that put things on hold a little bit, but instead of a Christmas tree this year, we’ve put up lots of different light ornaments and candles, which feels festive, but not over the top. I’m sharing two different looks this time, one of them is a Christmas fair isle onesie that I picked up from Pretty Little Thing, styled with a sparkly Christmas hat. I thought this would be ideal for lounging around on Christmas day! The other look is something more suited to the New Year or an evening out on Christmas. Again, I purchased it from Pretty Little Thing, and it’s a deep red satin dress with ruched detailing to it. I think it’s incredibly sexy for an affordable dress like this, and I’m in love with it! Out of these two, which is your favourite? Anyway, I want to wish you all a very, very Happy Christmas! I am so thankful and grateful to all of you for your continued support! I plan on doing more of a New Years roundup, with my thanks and more in it, but as it’s Christmas, I wish you all a happy holiday…

An Autumn Burgundy Duster Look

A Burgundy Duster Coat With Snake Print Boots We shot these photos in the churchyard in Bristol in the Redcliffe area. We hadn’t known that there was a church there until we spotted it out the view from the hotel window, and it was absolutely beautiful, especially during the Autumn time as these were shot around 5 weeks ago. Doesn’t the scenery look stunning? I thought the old fashioned lamp post would make a great backdrop. It was absolutely freezing though! I don’t think I wore the most sensible outfit for these photos! I was frozen by the time we went back to the hotel, and I couldn’t take anymore of the bitterness without getting angry! Does anyone else get really angry when they are frozen cold, lol? For my outfit, I was wearing my Oasis Burgundy Duster Coat (you saw it before here) which I styled with my new L’Academie Katlyn Top that I was gifted from Revolve. I love the tobacco, bronze, metallic shade it has to it and the ruched neckline. I tucked it inside my Topshop Cream Corduroy Skirt, which I put my Louis Vuitton LV Monogram Belt around, to make it pop and finish it off. For my accessories, I opted to wear my Topshop Snake Print Boots and that matched up nicely with my ASOS Snake Print Bag, to complete the accessories. I paired these two snake print pieces together in this outfit here before, and I quite like how it turned out, so I thought I would wear it again with this look. I think this outfit here is the perfect Autumn style…

Autumn Country Walks With Geox

I wasn’t intending on sharing these photos here as it was an Instagram collaboration between myself and the wonderful GEOX brand, without a blog post being needed, however, I loved how these photos turned out so much that I had to share them! Isn’t the Autumn scenery stunning? These photos were shot about 3 weeks ago or so, and now we’re in Winter so there’s no orange left anywhere. Looking back at these though makes me feel really happy and relaxed as I just adore Autumn. If you’re wondering where these photos were taken, they were shot up at Lansdown Crescent in Bath. There’s a little woodland walk close by and it’s incredible. There’s hardly anyone there every single time I have been, so I appreciate that it’s quiet too. For my outfit, I had on a GEOX Padded Coat, which I have actually been wearing all the time since it’s freezing. I’m wearing it daily as my casual coat as it’s lightweight and breathable, but also warm. I also got it a little bigger for layering underneath. I styled it with an older Topshop Grey Sweater, my Beyond Yoga Leggings, and a pair of the GEOX Nebula Purple Trainers. How cool are they?! It’s a super comfortable and casual outfit, perfect for a casual day out. What do you think of it? Sorry I have been absent again as well, I got sick on Saturday and am only just getting back to normal. I hope you’re all well! Lorna xx. *AD – I wasn’t paid for this blog post, as my collaboration with GEOX was for Instagram only, however…

Dusky Rose Pink Duster Coat Outfit

The Allsaints Dusky Pink Duster Coat Outfit If you saw my London roundup on our trip to Mayfair, you will have spotted this outfit already, but not in full length. It’s actually one of my favourites for a put together, styled ensemble that’s perfect for Autumn or Spring, as it’s not too cold or too hot. It’s so comfortable too, which was ideal for all of the walking and shopping we were doing! This duster coat has quickly become a piece that I reach for often as well, despite when I initially tried it on, I wasn’t going to keep it as I thought it wouldn’t get too much wear, but I was wrong, so I’m glad I retried it on for the second time, ha ha. So the Dusky Pink Duster Coat that I am wearing is by Allsaints, and I picked it up in the sale a couple of months ago. It’s such a beautiful coat and it’s made of Lyocell, so it’s really comfortable! I layered it over my simple white t-shirt, paired with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Slate, and then finished off with my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers in Gunmetal, and my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Grey. I do really enjoy mixing monochrome/neutral pieces with one shade, especially if that shade is a dusky rose like this. I’d love to know what you think of this outfit? Do you love it as much as I do? Lorna xx. P.S. – I’m up for an award for best UK fashion blogger of the year, at the Influencer Awards in London tomorrow. I…

The Knitted Maxi Skirt Outfit

A Knitted Maxi Skirt With Snake Boots I didn’t mean to take a full week off again, but life has been crazy the last week! I was in Bristol from Thursday to Sunday for a lot of Autumn shoots with Adam, then on Monday I was invited to the Last Christmas UK premiere in London, and a VIP Christmas lights switch on with Emma Thompson and Emilia Clarke on Tuesday. I got back super late on Tuesday night, rested a lot on Wednesday and caught up with a few things, and now today I’m back doing work. I plan on doing an update post on all of it with photos very soon, but for those of you who are interested, you can check out my highlight on Instagram (click here) to see all the videos! This outfit is a look I wore to Bristol and we shot these photos in Queen Square, which is a really beautiful park area with lots of pretty buildings all around. It was pretty chilly, but not cold enough that I couldn’t wear a skirt and I had been wanting to wear my new The Mia Midi Skirt by L’Academie, which was gifted by Revolve Clothing, as it’s such a beautiful stretch knit, with a thicker material, so it’s perfect for the cooler weather, despite the split up the side. I wanted to make this outfit perfect for Autumn, which is why I styled the skirt with my Zara Knit in Cream, then finished it off with my Topshop Snake Print Boots and my brand new Celine Nano Luggage in Glazed Nut that I got…

Allsaints Elva Leather Jacket Review

Allsaints Elva Leather Jacket Review I thought I would turn this blog post into a review actually because I got this brand new Allsaints Elva Leather Jacket and am totally obsessed with it. This is the first time I wore it in these photos and I paired it with a Topshop Knit, my L’AGENCE Margot Jeans in Slate, and my Golden Goose Sneakers. It’s a very casual outfit and I love how easy to wear it is, but because of the fit of everything, it’s very put together and styled at the same time. Anyway, I hope you like this outfit, do let me know! And tell me what you think of this jacket too! Lorna xx. The Design: The design of the Elva is actually my new favourite from Allsaints. It’s a hybrid between their two best sellers, the Dalby (which is my other favourite, see my review here) and their Balfern (see my review here). As you can see from the photos, it’s so perfect! The zip detailing on the sleeves, and the two side pockets, make it a no fuss detail leather jacket, with black rivets, and I’m obsessed with that. It fits like a dream too. The cut as you can see is a little longer, so it hits just below the top of the hip bones, which I love, and it flares out a bit with more of a straight cut. I think this makes it really edgy and more rock inspired, and that’s why it has quickly become my new favourite! The Sizing: I would say the Elva runs true to size, if not…

A Country Girl Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I hadn’t given any of you a preview of my Halloween costume this year (see my previous costumes here), and I was really excited because I absolutely adore country and Western, so doing a cowgirl seemed extremely fitting! I was even more excited that Adam got involved this year and joined me as a cowboy, which you can see below! The best part about this costume was that I put it together out of pieces I already had in my closet! I was wearing my Vintage Levi’s 501 Cut Off Denim Shorts, paired with my Gucci GG Belt (fashionable cowgirl, ha ha) and worn with my Topshop Snake Print Boots. For the shirt, I got this Superdry Bailey Shirt in Yellow, and finished it off with my Brixton Hat and some freckles! Adam’s required a little more props as he got a holster and a toy gun, as well as a bandana! We shot these photos in the little village nearby as there’s a perfect gate and scenery for this type of outfit. A few passers by came over to see what was going on and asked what it was for, even said we needed a horse, ha ha. I really enjoyed this shoot though, and I get excited every year for Halloween costume time! I would happily wear this outfit on a regular day though if the shorts were a little longer! That’s how much I love the Western vibe! What do you think? What’s your costume? Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.
