A Sweater Vest With Dr. Martens Jadon Platform Boots

Platform Combat Boots And Sweater Vests Hey everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas? How did you spend it? These are the last of my photos from Autumn when the leaves were still bright orange! Funnily enough, as the seasons are changing more and lengthening, these were taken at the start of December, which seems crazy to think of Autumn lasting more into December than it should! Getting to my outfit, since that’s what you guys come here for, I was wearing a Chi Chi London Cable Knit Sleeveless Knitted Jumper in Tan, which I layered over a Zara White Shirt. This was my first real time jumping into the sweater vest trend this season! I chose black pieces for the rest of the look, including my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite, my Saint Laurent 5 a 7 Bag, and my new Dr. Martens Jadon Hi Leather Platform Boots. I have to say that I’m really into platform combat boots, and lace up boots in general. I brought my brown furry lined Dr. Martens with me to the United States right now and they are so comfortable and warm. I can’t stop wearing them. The Jadon is one step above those in looks though, they’re such a statement and they’re bold, and I love it! I also adore the higher shaft length on this particular pair! Also, stay tuned for my new blog post coming soon as it’s my end of year roundup! As always though, let me know what you think of this outfit and you can buy the pieces in my scroller below! A Zara Camel Blazer With Black Boots

A Camel Blazer With Black Jeans And Boots Happy Sunday everyone! I can’t believe we are just two weeks away from Christmas! That came around so fast, didn’t it? These pictures were shot back in late October, hence why I was able to wear an outfit like this and didn’t freeze. I was actually quite warm! As much as I adore casual looks and comfort, I always gravitate back towards something sleek and smart before long. For this outfit, I wore my American Eagle High Rise Jeggings in Black and paired them with my Abercrombie & Fitch top, my Zara Camel Blazer, my Loeffler Randall Isla Booties, and my Saint Laurent 5 a 7 Bag in Black. I wanted to also showcase a lot of Bath’s heritage in these photos, to complement the outfit, and I think I did just that. The camel and neutral tones really match the Bath stone, and the black just pops and stands out. I got these jeans the last time that I was in America and I have to say, they have quickly become a go to! They are so stretchy and comfortable, while being extremely flattering, and I love that about them. I cannot recommend them enough! They can be dressed up or down, and I own them in multiple colours! The blazer is one that I have owned for over a year and it’s so classic! I can also not get enough of my new bag, and I know you saw it in my Saint Laurent 5 a 7 bag review that I did last month, but if you missed it, check…

Styling Three Different Types Of Looks

Styling 3 Different Looks For The Holiday Season Hey everyone! It’s almost Christmas and I’m going big with content this month of December! You might have noticed that I’m posting a lot more and I’m always inspired this time of the year as it’s just so cosy and there’s sales everywhere, so of course I have done some major shopping and took advantage of plenty of the deals around! I love that! I will be sharing more pieces to buy in a wish list soon! Anyway, I’m styling three different looks here and combining them into one blog post. I’ve done a glam going out dress, a flirty and edgy cropped top, and a more casual plaid shacket combination. All are perfect for the Holiday season in my opinion! Take a look at them below! This outfit above might be my favourite of the three! I paired this Femme Luxe bardot top in black with a pair of black skinny jeans, a western belt, and some chunky Doc Marten boots, to really toughen it up. I love flirty tops like this that are designed to look cute and feminine, but by wearing all black and bringing in some tough combat boots, with a platform to them, you really change the entire concept of the outfit! Feminine pieces with a masculine edge, it really livens things up. I’m obsessed with these combat boots too, the Dr. Marten Jadon boot is so cool! I’m seeing them a lot on other fashion bloggers and I absolutely love it! They bring such a new life to a pretty outfit like this. Instead of being…

A Leather Jacket With Leather Look Leggings

A Leather Jacket With Leather Leggings Outfit It’s Christmas next month! Oh my goodness! Ha ha. I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving if you’re in the United States, you know I love you guys, and I hope everyone took major advantage of the Black Friday sales that were happening – I definitely did! I got some cute pieces that I had kept in my shopping baskets all month, waiting for the discount! Anyway, I thought I would share my last outfit set that I shot in Ohio back in early October. It’s taken me a while to get all of my US content together, but I think this is actually my favourite outfit, so I saved it for last! It’s definitely very me! I was wearing my Allsaints Balfern Leather Biker Jacket in Black, which I layered over a new Zara Dusky Pink Satin Shirt that I purchased while I was out there. I then wore my Commando Faux Leather Leggings in Black, to complement the leather jacket, and finished it off with my Sam Edelman Yaro Suede Sandals and my American Eagle Sunglasses. When I first put this look together, I felt like it reminded me of Sandy from Grease, but in a more modern way with the shirt. I absolutely love black leather (as you know) and I can never get enough of it in outfits. As soon as I put this on, I felt more confident. I don’t know why it does that, ha ha! I’ve been living in this leather jacket though, for weeks. It was the only one that I took with me…

Criss Cross Crossover Jeans Outfit

Criss Cross Crossover Jeans Outfit Happy Tuesday! I hope you liked my Ohio photo diary that I shared with you! It’s been so long since I was in the USA and I’m longing to go back! Moving on from that topic of sadness though, these are some brand new photos that I shot with my mum in Bath town centre and I love the location and how they turned out. I think the backdrop is so pretty around by the Thermae Spa and The Gainsborough Hotel (the hotel is the background here). It creates a nice juxtaposition to my casual outfit. I was wearing my AGOLDE Crisscross Jeans in Suburbia, which I styled with my Abercrombie & Fitch Henley Tank Top in White, and their Sherpa Shirt Jacket in Grey Plaid. I then finished it off with my Dr. Martens Boots in Black, and my Saint Laurent 5 A 7 Bag. Now these jeans are a serious topic of discussion and I’ve come to understand that you either love them or hate them. There’s not really a phase in the middle, and most people I know in person, said they hate them, while other people online, and namely other bloggers and fashion orientated people, have said they love them. I think the crossover waistband is really cool and unique, I love that aspect of the jeans! Granted they are quite long as they have a 30″ inseam and I usually wear a 26″, but they have the 90’s baggy boyfriend vibe down to a tea and that works for them. So, in case you couldn’t tell, I went down a…

A Summertime Abercrombie Look In Ohio

An Abercrombie & Fitch Denim Skirt And Lemon Top Happy November guys! It’s really odd to think that next month is the last month of the year, and then we’re heading into 2022! How did the time go so quickly? Anyway, these are some shots that Christen took of me while I was in Ohio with him, and it was pretty much the last of my Summertime looks before it got a little more chilly. We found the coolest spot downtown in Mansfield, so I had to have the huge American flag in the background, how could I not? Ha ha. I remember seeing my first flag when I entered Newark airport, and I was so excited and happy! I literally cannot wait to go back! So getting to my outfit, I was wearing my Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love Denim Skirt in White, which I paired with my Cropped Lemon Top from the brand. These two pieces together are super cute and so perfect for the warmer weather! Since my footwear and accessories were limited as I was living out of a suitcase for 7 weeks, I paired this look with my Converse Low Tops that I got in Kohl’s, my American Eagle Sunglasses, a Shashi Rainbow Necklace, and my House of Want Pink Bag. I picked up the shoes, necklace, and sunglasses while I was in the USA. As it turned out though, I really liked the outfit a lot when I wore it out to get lunch and to the mall etc., because I felt so much more free over there. Everything is way more spaced out…

Happy Halloween – A Fallen Angel Devil

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Happy Halloween everyone! As you know, I love to do a costume every single year, creating something new and different, but last year, due to Covid, I wasn’t able to do one. I don’t usually opt into the realm of scary or evil costumes, but this year, I wanted to embrace that and do something sexy and fun. I chose to do a fallen angel/Devil combination with two different latex playsuits! The black feathered wings were really inexpensive and they were from the children’s department. All of the accessories were cheap actually, the priciest part was the bodysuit, but even that wasn’t too bad. I bought all of these items separately and put this together myself, so it’s not an actual costume that you can buy as a set – it’s all my own creation. I absolutely love it though! I had so much fun shooting these photos and I even spent a few hours creating a fun video, which you can check out below. What do you think of my costume this year? You can check out my previous costumes here. Lorna xx. Click here to see my Halloween costume video!

A Casual Green Plaid Cropped Shirt

An American Eagle Outfit With Converse Hey everyone! I know I promised you a second part to my Ohio photo diary, but it’s been a while since I shared an outfit blog post with you, and these were shot in Ohio, with clothes I had purchased there, so that also counts! Christen and I had found this really cool location down town, and I loved how it gave off a Mediterranean feel, even though it was in the middle of America. For this outfit, this top was one of the first things I purchased when I was in the US. I had gone to American Eagle in the mall, for the very first time as we don’t have that store here in the UK, and completely fell in love with it! I ended up going there numerous times, and ordering online, ha ha. Just so I could get more of their clothes! This is one of their trending pieces, a green plaid cropped flannel, which I also picked up in another colour, but the green was something unique for me! If you watched my live I did on Instagram, you will know that I was showing off some of the American Eagle jeans that I purchased too, and these High Waisted Jeggings in Black are one of those. I fell in love with their denim because the fit and comfort is amazing, who knew? These are a size 6 and I adore them! Now getting to the shoes, I literally lived in these Converse! I came across them in Kohl’s, and they have a padded tongue and heel, making them…
