Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots & Mom Jeans

Mom Jeans And Combat Boots I’m trying something a little different with this look here! Opting for more of an androgynous vibe, mixing feminine and masculine together, and I quite like how it turned out! It’s not an outfit that I would usually go for, as you know I tend to favour the skinniest of jeans, but when I saw these AGOLDE Riley Double Pocket Jeans and how gorgeous the wash was, I was hooked! They are rigid 100% cotton though, so I did size up to a 29 to make sure they had a comfortable fit to them, but aren’t they pretty? I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea due to the fit, but I really like them. For the rest of the outfit, I decided to wear my REISS Scarlet Teddy Coat and a Topman Grey Jumper underneath, to keep the neutral tones, then to finish it off, something you just saw recently when I shared my Jimmy Choo Cruz Boots review with you! These are the Anthracite colour and they’re just incredible! This is the first outfit I wore them with that I’ve shared, but I’ve actually worn them four times so far and plan on showcasing the second look next week sometime! What’s your opinion on outfits like this, with mom jeans and combat boots? Is it something you are gravitating towards as well, since the trends are heading this way? And what do you think of the way I interpreted this trend with the Jimmy Choo boots? Lorna xx. *This post contains affiliate links to help keep this blog running.

Dressed In Celine And Neutrals

Dressed In Celine And Neutrals Back in November when Adam and I were in Bristol, this was a quick outfit that we shot on one of the Autumn days in Queen Square. I hadn’t got around to sharing it yet as I had other outfits that I wanted to post, but I actually really like how this one turned out. I wanted to go for a brown and cream, neutral colour palette and have some of the pieces more smart and classy, while others were more casual, to create a blend of high and low in this ensemble. I probably could have done with a gold necklace to finish it off, complementing the gold buckle of my belt, but I do quite like how this looks otherwise. I was wearing my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Brown, which I put my Louis Vuitton LV Belt around, to finish it off and give it a little more pop. I also chose my Zara Biscuit Cardigan, which is really comfortable and cute! Then finished it off with my Brixton Fedora Hat, and my Celine Nano Luggage in Glazed Nut. You might remember this bag in my previous outfit (click here) and I’m still obsessed with how beautiful it is. It makes my 3rd Celine bag in my collection, and I will say that they’re probably my favourites! I’ve gotten so much use out of my Nano Luggage in Dune, so I can only imagine how much wear this one will receive! What do you think of this outfit? 2019

Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe that 2019 is officially over now? This year flew by and it’s been the year of so many changes and so much growth for me! I thought I would do my annual round up of the months, sharing things that happened and my favourite outfits from those months, to reflect and take a look back on the year as a whole. I’ve done a lot this year in regards to working on myself, and I know 2020 is going to be my year! A very big year for me! I feel it! JANUARY January was a very chilled month, but I attended the Gillette launch party as Adam was an ambassador for the brand for a few months. It was really cool! I know you guys probably remember it, but if you don’t, you can click here to read about it. FEBRUARY February was the month that I changed my blog theme around, started editing my photos differently, and stuck with a more classic, clean, simple approach that I’m still using now. I love it! It snowed too, which was incredible as we managed to get some amazing shots, but this month contained some of my favourite outfits entirely! MARCH Spring was approaching and I worked with Amazon on my body confidence post for the lingerie, and The Cambridge Satchel Company for their Emily tote! I remember looking around for ages trying to find blossom or purple flowers to complement the bag in photos! APRIL April was one of the best months for me in 2019! I finally attended my Shawn Mendes concert…

The Faviola Geometric Boots Outfit

It’s always been constantly raining here in England. I know that’s a cliche, but it actually has. I swear it’s rained 90% off this year! Taking outfit photos has been pretty tricky, waiting for the rain to stop, the light to be right, etc. but I actually think the wet ground added a pretty element to these photos. This was the second set of photos from my GEOX collaboration on Instagram (see the first here) and it features a look I put together, centered around the Faviola Boots. They have such a cool geometric design in suede, using burgundy, grey, and navy, to make a statement. I paired them with my Reiss Scarlet Teddy Coat, my Topshop Faux Leather Skirt, and a Mango Tank Top. It’s a pretty simple combination and one that I think turned out quite nicely, as it’s chic, put together, smart, yet still stylish and fun. So, this rounds out my last outfit post of the year 2019! My next blog post is going to be a roundup of the year, and looking forward to 2020. Can you believe how fast it’s all gone? I think this look here though, with GEOX, is a great way to end the blogging year! What do you think? Lorna. *AD – I wasn’t paid for this blog post, as my collaboration with GEOX was for Instagram only, however I love the way the photos turned out so I’m sharing them here too!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

It’s Christmas! Are you hanging up a stocking on your wall? It’s the time that every Santa has a ball Does he ride a red-nosed reindeer? Does a ton-up on his sleigh? Do the fairies keep him sober for a day? Christmas came around fast this year, didn’t it? I haven’t really put up any decorations this year, we haven’t really been feeling entirely festive. I was sick for a while with a cold and a flu, so that put things on hold a little bit, but instead of a Christmas tree this year, we’ve put up lots of different light ornaments and candles, which feels festive, but not over the top. I’m sharing two different looks this time, one of them is a Christmas fair isle onesie that I picked up from Pretty Little Thing, styled with a sparkly Christmas hat. I thought this would be ideal for lounging around on Christmas day! The other look is something more suited to the New Year or an evening out on Christmas. Again, I purchased it from Pretty Little Thing, and it’s a deep red satin dress with ruched detailing to it. I think it’s incredibly sexy for an affordable dress like this, and I’m in love with it! Out of these two, which is your favourite? Anyway, I want to wish you all a very, very Happy Christmas! I am so thankful and grateful to all of you for your continued support! I plan on doing more of a New Years roundup, with my thanks and more in it, but as it’s Christmas, I wish you all a happy holiday…

An Autumn Burgundy Duster Look

A Burgundy Duster Coat With Snake Print Boots We shot these photos in the churchyard in Bristol in the Redcliffe area. We hadn’t known that there was a church there until we spotted it out the view from the hotel window, and it was absolutely beautiful, especially during the Autumn time as these were shot around 5 weeks ago. Doesn’t the scenery look stunning? I thought the old fashioned lamp post would make a great backdrop. It was absolutely freezing though! I don’t think I wore the most sensible outfit for these photos! I was frozen by the time we went back to the hotel, and I couldn’t take anymore of the bitterness without getting angry! Does anyone else get really angry when they are frozen cold, lol? For my outfit, I was wearing my Oasis Burgundy Duster Coat (you saw it before here) which I styled with my new L’Academie Katlyn Top that I was gifted from Revolve. I love the tobacco, bronze, metallic shade it has to it and the ruched neckline. I tucked it inside my Topshop Cream Corduroy Skirt, which I put my Louis Vuitton LV Monogram Belt around, to make it pop and finish it off. For my accessories, I opted to wear my Topshop Snake Print Boots and that matched up nicely with my ASOS Snake Print Bag, to complete the accessories. I paired these two snake print pieces together in this outfit here before, and I quite like how it turned out, so I thought I would wear it again with this look. I think this outfit here is the perfect Autumn style…

Autumn Country Walks With Geox

I wasn’t intending on sharing these photos here as it was an Instagram collaboration between myself and the wonderful GEOX brand, without a blog post being needed, however, I loved how these photos turned out so much that I had to share them! Isn’t the Autumn scenery stunning? These photos were shot about 3 weeks ago or so, and now we’re in Winter so there’s no orange left anywhere. Looking back at these though makes me feel really happy and relaxed as I just adore Autumn. If you’re wondering where these photos were taken, they were shot up at Lansdown Crescent in Bath. There’s a little woodland walk close by and it’s incredible. There’s hardly anyone there every single time I have been, so I appreciate that it’s quiet too. For my outfit, I had on a GEOX Padded Coat, which I have actually been wearing all the time since it’s freezing. I’m wearing it daily as my casual coat as it’s lightweight and breathable, but also warm. I also got it a little bigger for layering underneath. I styled it with an older Topshop Grey Sweater, my Beyond Yoga Leggings, and a pair of the GEOX Nebula Purple Trainers. How cool are they?! It’s a super comfortable and casual outfit, perfect for a casual day out. What do you think of it? Sorry I have been absent again as well, I got sick on Saturday and am only just getting back to normal. I hope you’re all well! Lorna xx. *AD – I wasn’t paid for this blog post, as my collaboration with GEOX was for Instagram only, however…

Dusky Rose Pink Duster Coat Outfit

The Allsaints Dusky Pink Duster Coat Outfit If you saw my London roundup on our trip to Mayfair, you will have spotted this outfit already, but not in full length. It’s actually one of my favourites for a put together, styled ensemble that’s perfect for Autumn or Spring, as it’s not too cold or too hot. It’s so comfortable too, which was ideal for all of the walking and shopping we were doing! This duster coat has quickly become a piece that I reach for often as well, despite when I initially tried it on, I wasn’t going to keep it as I thought it wouldn’t get too much wear, but I was wrong, so I’m glad I retried it on for the second time, ha ha. So the Dusky Pink Duster Coat that I am wearing is by Allsaints, and I picked it up in the sale a couple of months ago. It’s such a beautiful coat and it’s made of Lyocell, so it’s really comfortable! I layered it over my simple white t-shirt, paired with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Slate, and then finished off with my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers in Gunmetal, and my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Grey. I do really enjoy mixing monochrome/neutral pieces with one shade, especially if that shade is a dusky rose like this. I’d love to know what you think of this outfit? Do you love it as much as I do? Lorna xx. P.S. – I’m up for an award for best UK fashion blogger of the year, at the Influencer Awards in London tomorrow. I…
