Currently Craving Wish List: October 2017

I know I say it every single time I do these roundups, but I seriously feel like the time is speeding up the closer it gets to the end of the year. It’s what it feels like. Sometimes I can’t believe that another week has passed and it only felt like 2 days went by. It’s kind of scary! But since everything is changing and more and more items are coming out to buy, these posts are always exciting! My wish list collage above has a varied mix of things in it that I think are really cool. The purple and blue iridescent bag is stunning, those jeans are classic, the velvet embroidered slip dress would be ideal with the leather jacket, the yellow knitwear is so vibrant, the star print wrap dress would be perfect with the burgundy thigh high boots! The yellow velvet blazer is just amazing, as are the white and black booties, then the pink bag is beautiful, and everyone needs a fancy candle. There’s a combination of high and low pieces here and you could create so many different outfits with each of them. That’s something I often envision when I create the collages. Citizens of Humanity always make some of the best skinny jeans, as do AGOLDE, so that’s why I often include them in my roundups as jeans are the ultimate base for me. I…

My Wedding Dress Ideas

As you know, Adam and I got engaged last year in July at St. Ives and it was tough for a while learning to call him my fiance, which I still feel awkward saying sometimes because it always brings the age old question of ‘when are you getting married?’ and it’s never something I can answer with a date. So to clarify that for everyone, we both want to live together once we get married and neither of us are in a position to do that at the moment so the wedding wont be just yet. We’re in no rush, marriage doesn’t change our actual relationship so there’s no urgency right now. With that being said though, it never stops me looking at wedding dresses and getting inspiration for what I want to wear from time to time. I have narrowed it down to what I love and what I think I want in a wedding dress, so there’s a few different options, which is why I have put this blog post together to share with you the type of style I would go for. We are going to have a small wedding which is just close family, so there’s no big event, no over the top decor etc., just something simple and elegant, so really the dress is going to be the main focal point in terms of physical items at a wedding. Currently Craving Wish List: August 2017

It was the month of my birthday and even though that was at the beginning, it still feels like it was months ago in a really weird way, however the year as a whole has flown by. It was only Christmas not long ago, I’m sure! I’m thinking that it’s even weirder that I’m going to be 30 in 11 months time! That’s insane! It’s relevant though as every year that goes by, my personal style evolves a lot more and it’s interesting to see how much it’s changed since I started blogging (which you can see here if you missed it). So, with that in mind, what’s on my Currently Craving Wish List for August then? A lot of things! As you can see from the collage above, my mentality is happily transitioning into the Autumn with the pieces that I’m craving and loving. I can’t wait for the weather to cool down so that I can start wearing layers again! Gosh, layers, remember those? I’m loving floral and embellishments at the moment, so that Rebecca Minkoff bag and the two Gucci options are so gorgeous! I’m happy just to stare at them. 5 Clothing Tips For A Confident You

When it comes to handling certain situations, one thing we need to do is make sure that we look our best and feel our best. We all have our insecurities and areas of our body’s that we don’t like, but I’ve figured out a few ways to enhance our best assets and hide the ones we don’t like so much, in order to create a more powerful and confident feeling from within. I’m sure we all have our go to clothes that we wear for handling different things in our life, and when we get a new pair of shoes or a jacket that we think looks amazing, we instantly feel more confident, but when that new feeling wears off, instead of going out and buying something else, try a few of these staple pieces that will help sort out most of our worries. Being confident with who you are is so important – I hope it helps! Power Suit I’ve found that when you’re in an important or business situation and it’s required for you to be professional, wearing a suit which makes you feel confident and strong is key. Currently Craving: June 2017

My Currently Craving Wish List For June! Can you believe another month has come and gone so fast yet again? It’s madness for me to think that I was putting together my Currently Craving Wish List a whole month ago, when it feels like last week. June has definitely been a very busy month, for both work, health, and holiday, so I am excited to see what July brings. I did mention to you that I am still on a shopping ban (excludes gifts), which I have been on since the 20th May and I still haven’t broken yet. However, that never stops me craving items all the time and browsing online to see what’s new! As I always do for my wish lists, I round up my favourite items of the month to share with you. Usually I do this in a collage, but I have a better way of doing it this time which is much more interactive and easier for you to use. My Unique HOUSE of BOTTA Wish List

I was recently introduced to the brand HOUSE of BOTTA and I’m pleased to say that I think the concept is incredibly cool! So much so that I wanted to share it with you. The company was founded by two people that believe in female empowerment, wanting to bring more women into business, so they launched in 2017. But what is HOUSE of BOTTA? Let me tell you! The founders were unimpressed with the high street shopping here in the UK as the choices were very limited in style and quality, unless you are ready to pay the high end prices for Gucci, Chanel etc. Being tired of disposable shopping (where nothing lasts more than one season) with every shop offering their own take on specific trends, the duo decided enough was enough and HOUSE of BOTTA was born. Understanding how difficult it is for new starting brands and designers to get stocked in big retailers, they decided to create a place where quality ideas and collections can be sold straight to the customers. Currently Craving: April

Adam and I celebrate our 9 year anniversary tomorrow, which is even more cause for wondering where the time has vanished. The end of the month though always means it’s time for my Currently Craving Wish List! So for this month of April, I’ve chosen 10 products that I adore and wanted to share with you, a few of which have made it into my mail already. First up is a Topshop Coral Suit Jacket and it’s so gorgeous! Coral is something that I’ve loved for years as I’m sure you all know, so I’m extremely happy that it’s back on the scene. It comes with a matching skirt and you will be seeing this outfit soon on the blog, but for a fun blazer for Spring, it’s ideal! And keeping in line with coral, I have the Cambridge Satchel Neon Coral Barrel Backpack which you can see there! It’s truly stunning and I’m reviewing it very soon too (they have free embossing right now)! While we’re on the subject of bags though, I’ve wanted the Gucci Dionysus Suede Bag in Taupe for months, but the cross-body one I want is sold out in the whole of Europe and only available in the US, which isn’t a possibility for me, so number 2 might be a good alternative instead. April Showers – 15 Fashionable Rainwear Essentials

I figured since April is on its way and it brings April Showers (although March is more filled with rain everyday so far!), it would be good to do a blog post on some fashionable and essential rainwear for the season. Living in England means I pretty much have to live in waterproof clothing and take an umbrella with me all of the time, unless it’s the middle of summer (but even that’s risky to go sans an umbrella) so I need multiple choices and options that look nice. I never used to think that waterproof clothing was pretty or fashionable though, but all of that has changed over the last couple of years and there’s some of the cutest pieces around, which is why I have only recently gotten lots of it! Wellies come in an array of colours and styles, rain macs are printed and brightly coloured, and umbrellas are really pretty to look at.
