Neutrals – Bloch Flats & Postman Lock Satchel

I decided recently that I need to start stocking up on neutral accessories. I have so many brightly coloured bags and shoes but barely any neutral coloured ones. Sometimes you just need to keep the shades muted and simple, I don’t want to make all of my outfits too overpowering. I picked up this River Island postman lock satchel bag in the sale last week and I got these Bloch nude flats courtesy of Spartoo. I’ve always loved Bloch flats because I have really sensitive feet and they are the only flats I find that don’t hurt my heels much. I love that about them! It’s my birthday in just under three weeks so I am saving for a neutral proper bag when I go shopping in London. I’m thinking Mulberry or another Marc by Marc Jacobs! Marc by Marc Jacobs Dandelion Karlie Clutch

As you know, I was saving for this beautiful Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie clutch in Dandelion for a while and I was so unsure if I could actually justify the price on such a small bag. I’m so glad I gave in and ended up buying it though, it’s one of my favourite bags right now and I have worn it 3 times already. It’s the perfect size for carrying around my essentials and it’s not heavy at all which is always an issue with me, my arms normally end up aching when I carry heavy bags. I also love that this one has a detachable strap so you can use it as a purse. The yellow is the best thing about this bag though, I adore yellow so much because of how bright and fun it is, I am so happy I opted for this Karlie clutch instead of the Little Ukita, that one would have been too big! So here she is, my new Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie clutch in Dandelion. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

Miu Miu Minibags

Miu Miu is playing with sizes by miniaturizing its most iconic bags, transforming them into miniature charms. Buckles, pockets and clasps have turned micro, becoming a must have to customize and adorn the “classics” in maxi versions. Miu Miu was the first brand to create minibags and these charms are now available in every Miu Miu store worldwide. They retail for $380 each and are the perfect accessory to hang from your key chain or bag zipper. I had to blog about these Miu Miu Minibags because I think they are adorable! There are so many things you could do with these, even if you didn’t want them as a keyring or zipper puller, you could easily create them into necklaces or something wearable. The purple and the pink are my favourites! I just don’t think I can afford the $380 price tag! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

Lulu Guinness Autumn/Winter 2011 Press Day

As you know, yesterday I went to London for some press days and here are the photos from the Lulu Guinness Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet Lulu herself as she went home but seeing her amazing bags definitely made up for it! The Lips clutches are still my favourites, they are even more beautiful in person! I adore the crystal ones, the fuchsia crystal especially. I saw her new collection of fan bags which were embellished with crystals and absolutely amazing! The leather Studded Bow Wanda bag is Lulu’s favourite bag from the collection. It’s the perfect sized tote and the studs really add an edge to the dainty bow detail, I think it would suit anyone! I love it. The postcard clutches were also really cute and a lot of her patent and nappa handbags have the lips print inside the quilted stitching which I find to be really sweet! I also loved the floral print, the shop front window bags, the leopard print and the studs. Even the face bags have the eyes closed on the back. There is so much detail for this coming season! Please click this blog post to see all of the bags and to see the room decor and a very pretty gift bag I got given! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

Love Is: Lanvin Mini Pop Pink Bag & Lanvin Pink Flats

So those of you who know me know that I am obsessed with pink and that it’s my favourite colour. You can imagine my excitement when I saw both of these products from Lanvin! I was in love! This Lanvin Mini Pop bright pink leather shoulder bag with a pink grosgrain bow is so feminine and bright! The metal chain has an interwoven pink grosgrain ribbon as well! The cute twist lock fastening at the fold over flap on the front is a nice touch as well. The colour is definitely the main thing that strikes me though, it’s just stunning! Unfortunately this bag will have to remain on my wish list as it costs a lot of money! You can buy it here at Net-A-Porter for £715. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook) To match the gorgeous bag above, the new Lanvin fuchsia ballerina flats are perfect! They have a concealed 1 inch heel so they are not completely flat and the colour is so bright and daring. They have a textured finish, a round toe, stitched detail and an elasticated trim for comfort. These are definitely a lot more affordable than the Mini Pop Bag above so I think I may just need to save for these beautiful shoes! If they had my size in stock that is! Buy these here at Net-A-Porter for £285.

Love Is: Mulberry Mini Alexa Watermelon Satchel

I saw this Mulberry Mini Alexa Watermelon Satchel a while ago online at My-Wardrobe and fell in love. I then saw it again at the Mulberry boutique in London and it was even more prettier in person! The colour is simply stunning and the size is perfect for a little hand held bag like I adore. It has a cute braided handle, two gold snap fastenings so you don’t have to undo the buckles and a gold tone postman’s lock closure. It also has an additional cross body strap. The bags dimensions are 17cm x 27cm x 10cm so you can see it’s the perfect size for a mini bag. The only thing that does make me hesitant about it is that it’s made from buffalo leather. Other than that, it’s absolutely perfect and stunning. It’s available to buy at My-Wardrobe for £506. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook) Images courtesy of My-Wardrobe.com

Mary Frances Bags Are Amazing!

I received this beautiful clutch bag from Mary Frances last week along with a very cute premium denim bag. When I first found out about the brand a couple of months ago I was amazed by how much detail goes into their pieces and just how feminine they are. This ‘Take A Bow’ clutch (above and more photos inside) is so dainty and cute but beautiful and pretty at the same time. It has sequins and beading all over it with velvet fabric underneath. There is definitely a lot of work involved in the making of it and it’s stunning! I plan on wearing this clutch with my Valentines outfit! There is also a denim bag which comes with a strap you can disconnect just like the ‘Take A Bow’ bag. You can find out more about the denim bag and view more photos by clicking this post. You can buy the Take A Bow bag here at Mary Frances. I will also be doing another post at some point showcasing the other wonderful pieces she has on offer. Much Clutch Love

Judith Leiber Swarovski Panda Clutch. One thing I have started to become obsessed with recently is clutches and very small bags. I love how cute they are and how easy they are to carry. They are also just the right size not to over power your outfit like some bags can. I’ve put together some of my favourite clutches of the moment which I have found online. Some are very expensive and others are very affordable. There is a mix of everything. My favourites definitely have to be the Judith Leiber crystal panda, Mulberry Alexa satchel clutch, Halston Heritage chain mail box, Topshop embellished box and the Jimmy Choo acrylic clutch. There are just so many pretty ones, it does make it really hard to pick just a few favourites! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
