My New Chanel Wallet On Chain ‘WOC’ Bag In Black

Chanel Wallet on Chain ‘WOC’ Bag in Black With Silver Hardware This bag isn’t one that needs many words if I’m honest. Those of you who know Chanel or designer bags in general will already know about the famous Chanel Wallet on Chain or WOC for short, and its dominance in the designer bag world, but for those of you who don’t, let me get straight to it in just a second. I did share with you this photo on Instagram asking you what I got, before I revealed it here, and I know some of you have seen it briefly, so lets go. When I was in London back in the very beginning of September, when I purchased my Celine Nano Luggage in Dune, I may have been keeping a big secret from you, and that’s this little something extra. I never had any intentions of buying two designer bags when I was there and had a strict rule that I was coming home with one, which was the Celine, but it didn’t quite go to plan. If you follow me on social media you may remember me wondering which new designer bag to get and the end two choices were the Celine Nano Luggage and the Chanel Wallet on Chain, so these two bags were both high on my list, but I only had enough money saved up for just one. As you know I bought my Celine on the first day I was there in London, but I had done a lot of other browsing around in other shops and went into Selfridges as well, to check…

My Next Designer Bag

As you know, I love to save up for a new designer bag whenever I can as it’s something that really gives me a focus. Working hard and saving up my money so that I can buy that new bag I have been lusting after for so long is an amazing feeling, but when you’re self employed, you don’t often know when the next payments are coming or what work might be headed your way. With that in mind, I can find it really difficult saving up the full retail value of a bag like my Celine, a Chanel, Louis Vuitton etc, but that doesn’t mean that I have to miss out at all. Over the years I’ve become quite accustomed to pre-owned luxury goods and I think bags aren’t something to be dismissed. I was introduced to the company called Reebonz (pronounced Ribbons) recently and I loved the concept. They are an online platform based in Singapore which specalise in buying and selling a huge range of authentic, luxury brands from the likes of Balenciaga, Burberry, Celine, Chanel, Chloe, Prada, Givenchy and many more. I’m thinking, maybe it might be a good idea to sort through some of my older pieces in order to sell them on and make some money, and then buy something pre-owned to save money, as long as the bag I am looking for shows up that is. I saw that Reebonz offers 3 business days delivery, free shipping and returns, and of course the authenticy is guaranteed too as nobody wants to spend a lot of money on a fake, or even be involved…

My New Celine Nano Luggage In Dune Review

My Celine Nano Luggage Bag in Dune Review I never thought I would see the day when I actually got to write this blog post, but I’m writing it now! YAY! I couldn’t be more excited to reveal to you my new beloved designer bag, the Celine Nano Luggage in Dune. I never thought I would own a Celine because they are quite pricey, but for many months I had been saving up a lot of money to finally get this one on my trip to London a few weeks ago. I’ve wanted one since 2011! We stayed in the Westbury Hotel in Mayfair which is literally right on Bond Street, next to all the shops. As soon as Adam and I got to the hotel and changed out of our travelling clothes, we made our way to the Celine Boutique on Mount Street which wasn’t actually too far to walk. Mayfair is a beautiful area, which made it better. So there I was, so excited like a little girl as we both came across the Celine shop and headed inside! Of course the doorman let us in and I was quite shocked to find how spacious and cool the interior of the boutique is. I don’t know if any of you have been to the Mount Street Celine Boutique, but it’s lovely! Adam and I walked around inside for a while, checking everything out, then headed over to the bag section where I could see quite a few Luggage Totes, but not the one I wanted. One of the sales assistants (who was lovely) asked me if I needed…

The Handmade Luxury Aztec Mochila Bag

I’m sure you might have noticed already that there’s a huge trend coming into the market right now for Summer 2016 for Aztec printed bucket bags. I’ve been seeing them cropping up on shops over the past month and I’m pretty sure we will be seeing them out on celebrities and fashion bloggers very soon. There’s something so grounding and natural about bags like this too, probably because they are hand-made and unique. This particular bag that I have here is in collaboration with BrandFair, it’s the Mariposa, which is a Mochila bag made by the Wayuu women of Guajira Colombia. It’s 100% handmade and it has taken approximately 3 weeks to weave, making it completely unique and special. It uses a double thread count, giving it a thick and strong weave and this weaving technique makes the bag both durable and long lasting, differentiating it from other traditional bags. The gorgeous strap was made by the Wayuu men using an old traditional technique too, isn’t it pretty? I thought this bag would be perfect to take photos in the flower park with as it reminds me of something that is perfect for a Summertime day out, either having a picnic in the park with friends or just enjoying a woodland stroll. It’s big enough to fit everything you need inside and because it’s woven from fabric, it’s extremely lightweight already, so you don’t have to worry about making it too heavy, which is ideal for me. I originally fell in love with this particular one as I love the baby pink and turquoise shades that are woven into the…

MCM New Rabbit Canvas Card Purse & Cross Body Bag Review

New MCM Rabbit Cross Body Bag & Card Case Review I know quite a few of you have seen my MCM Rabbit Bag before in a couple of outfit posts (here and here) but I hadn’t yet reviewed it. I also ended up buying a coin/card purse to use everyday as I hadn’t yet got one. Considering I have so many pretty bags, I was still using an old Topshop coin purse that I got back in 2010 and hadn’t upgraded since. I’ve often seen the MCM backpacks out and about and thought they were quite cool, but they were a little too bold for me and since I don’t often wear backpacks (except for travel) I didn’t think one of those would be a suitable choice. Then when I happened to come across the little rabbit logo on the cross body bag, I completely fell in love with it. The brand release a new style of rabbit each season and this coin/card purse is from the MCM Spring 2016 Rabbit collection while the cross body bag is from AW15. So, if you want to read my reviews on each of the bag and purse, carry on reading below and check out my photos too! Shop the entire MCM Rabbit collection online at Shopbop.com.

My New Chloe Mini Drew Bag in Motty Grey

Chloe Mini Drew Bag in Motty Grey It’s here! It’s finally here! One of the dream bags that I have wanted for months and months! You may remember seeing it in numerous Currently Craving posts of mine and I finally managed to get it! Those of you who follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (@LornaRaindrops) already will know that I received this gorgeous bag last week and couldn’t be more excited! I’ve been saving up for a while and when Black Friday came around I was waiting for a special deal to come along. Unfortunately Selfridges excluded it from their 20% discount which I was sad about, but Harrods saved the day when they put it on sale! So I’m literally over the moon to reveal my new Chloe Mini Drew Bag in Motty Grey. I was deciding for a while which colour to get in the Chloe Drew and even which size, but I decided on the Mini as the Nano looked a bit too small and the Small looked a bit too big, so after doing measurements, I decided the Mini was the ideal size and I was correct. Now my colour choices were between the brown, the grey and the off white. I ruled brown out due to having a few brown bags and my heart was leaning towards the grey since I don’t own any grey bags but often wear it in clothing. It seemed like the most practical option. I was swayed though when I saw how gorgeous the off white cream colour was with the gold hardware and how it would go with everything…

A Bag I Have Always Loved, But Never Bought

The Proenza Schouler PS1 Bag is everything… I’ve known about Proenza Schouler for many, many years, casually taking a look at their bags now and then, but often going on my way after. I remember seeing one of their new designs a few years ago in Liberty in London, it was the PS1 Pouch in Raspberry Suede (the smaller version of this one on Emma Roberts, so it looked like this) and it was incredible. Liberty was the only shop that I had seen the bag in and it seemed near impossible to find it online, plus with its price being quite steep back then when I was younger, it meant that I had to let that one go. I’ve never forgotten that moment though as I’m sure you know how it feels to love a bag so much and you can’t get it. As time has gone on (4-5 years to be exact), I often find myself taking a look on their website to see if anything new catches my eye and I’ve recently came across some gorgeous Proenza Schouler bags that I would love to add to my collection. Of course the PS1 Pouch is still my favourite design from them, coming in a brown, deep green or black suede at the moment, but I also love the look of the PS11 Mini metallic bags! Those are so cute! I think if I were to get a Proenza Schouler bag though, it would definitely have to be the PS1 Pouch in brown suede, since I can’t get the berry one anymore. Similar to the colour above, but in…

My New Chanel Small Boy Bag in Bordeaux Velvet

Chanel Small Boy Bag in Bordeaux Velvet Review I’m literally so excited to finally share with you my very first Chanel bag! You may remember that I spoke about the velvet Chanel bags for Autumn Winter 2015, and some of you guessed that I might have purchased one, and here it is! It’s the brand new Chanel Small Boy Bag in Bordeaux Velvet. So let me tell you the story about how I came to getting this bag. Just over a month ago I had been looking on the Chanel website to see if they had put out the new AW15 bags yet and luckily, they had. I was obsessed when I saw that Chanel had some jewel tone velvet bags and I completely fell in love with the Mini Flap in this colour. Adam and I had rang the boutiques numerous times to see if one was available, but unfortunately it wasn’t. They only had a couple in the UK boutiques and they had sold out instantly, so it was unobtainable, much to my upset. Since there’s only a small selection of the new seasons collection online, we found out what other bags came in this Bordeaux velvet shade and it turns out the Small Boy bag did. I have always been in love with the Boy, but I was mostly apprehensive about the weight of it as the thick chain makes it really heavy. I know this as I’ve picked up a few in boutiques before and they seem too heavy for my shoulders. After a couple of calls back to the Chanel boutique, Adam found out that…
