Christian Dior MetalEyes 2 Sunglasses Review

Christian Dior MetalEyes 2 Sunglasses in Havana Black If you have followed my fashion blog for some time now, you will probably know that I have a love for Ray-Ban sunglasses, especially with mirrored lenses. I think I am close to owning 15 pairs of Ray-Ban, so I thought it was about time that I branched out and tried something different! That’s where these Christian Dior MetalEyes 2 Sunglasses in Havana come in! Aren’t they just gorgeous? I got these Christian Dior sunglasses from OCO Glasses and I’m really glad that I did. Not only are they gorgeous, but the box that they came in is beautiful too. It’s a white rectangular cube with criss-cross detailing over it which opens and closes with a magnetic flap. Inside is a dainty little dust bag to keep the sunglasses in and obviously the frames themselves. It’s really nice to own something unique like this and with expert detailing in the packaging as well. The frames themselves are different to what I’m used to as well, I’m very much used to the classic aviator shape and these are more of a twist on the cat eye and square lenses. They aren’t too big or too small for my face and they sit really nicely too, which is a bonus. I love comfortable sunglasses that don’t slip down and these are just right. I think this frame shape on these sunglasses is so unique and edgy, it brings such a different look to my face which I actually really love! The plastic on the arms and around the lenses is quite dark, so you…

Ray-Ban Shrunken Aviator Sunglasses in Cyclamen Mirror Pink

My new Ray-Ban Shrunken Aviator Sunglasses in Cyclamen Mirror Pink You probably know by now that I absolutely adore mirrored lens sunglasses. I already own Ray-Ban mirrored aviators in red, blue and green, as well as the Erika in mirrored turquoise, red and purple, so I definitely felt like my collection was missing a certain colour… pink! These gorgeous sunglasses lenses are actually called Cyclamen and the shade is a combination of orange, pink and purple, sort of in an ombre tone as you can see when viewed from the side, however, from a straight on view they are actually a full pink which is intense. These sunglasses are absolutely gorgeous! I wasn’t sure on the frames at first as I am used to the regular aviator style, however I couldn’t find them anywhere with these lenses so I had to go for the shrunken aviator style instead. I think they are actually really nice and they suit my face a lot better than I had been expecting. I’ve already worn these sunglasses out twice now and I am definitely sure that they will be getting a lot of use in the coming months! As long as the sun is shining that is! What do you think of them? I’d love to know your thoughts! You can see them in action in one of my little Instagram videos by clicking here and you can buy these sunglasses online at Shopbop by clicking here.

My New Ray-Ban Blue Velvet Erika Sunglasses

Ray-Ban Erika Mirrored Blue Sunglasses The warmer weather is fast approaching and as Spring is now here, I’ve been thinking about some new designer sunglasses! I got these gorgeous Ray-Ban Erika Sunglasses in Blue Velvet from Sunglasses Shop a few weeks ago and had been waiting for a sunnier day to share them with you. I do own the Erika already in purple and red, but I had been a huge fan of the aqua blue colour since last year when they came out, so I couldn’t wait to try them! I think the shape of the frames is absolutely gorgeous, I love the way they sit on the face and they aren’t too big or too small, plus with the velvet around the plastic, it really helps with them staying on your face and absorbing any moisture. The mirrored lenses are extremely reflective too, you can see absolutely everything in them, just like a mirror, and your eyes remain hidden! I honestly can’t wait for it to warm up some more so I can wear these more! What do you think of these Ray-Ban Erika Mirrored Lens Sunglasses? Have you seen any other fashion bloggers wearing them? I know Sunglasses Shop also have a Ray-Ban sale on at the moment too, so you might be able to snap something good up!

From Venus With Love

A very special love locket from Venus With Love… Love is something that’s really important to me, I think it makes your life that little bit more special and it helps with feeling fulfilled. It doesn’t necessarily mean love with a romantic partner, but love from family and friends too. Having people in your life that you class as special and important, people that make it worthwhile and people that give you happiness and support. I came across the brand Venus With Love a couple of months ago and I fell in love with the concept. They have little lockets that you open up and fill with charms. As a collaboration with them, I chose to design a locket centered around love, so with the back plate having ‘love’ written on it, I chose to include some special charms which mean something to me. I have inside the locket: Hearts – to represent my love. A paw – to display my love for animals. Diamond ring – to represent commitment. A music note – to show my love of music and singing. A red London bus – to represent England and where I’m from. Cherries – my favourite fruit and old email address. Rubies – to represent a love stone, and finally, a love letter, to represent a long distance relationship. All of these are special and mean a lot to me, making the locket really unique and personal. I wanted to include some initials too, but unfortunately there’s no room! I would love to know what you think of the locket I designed. Is love also important to you…

My New Daniel Wellington Grace London Watch

I own two Daniel Wellington watches already (here and here) so as you probably already know, I am a huge fan of the brand. I was lucky enough to be able to choose a watch from their brand new collection, so I opted for the new Daniel Wellington Grace London watch in Blue & Red. It’s absolutely gorgeous and I adore it! Navy and burgundy is a combination that I am a huge lover of anyway, since I wear it numerous times in clothing, so combining it in a watch is fantastic. The new Grace London style features the classic nato striped strap, but it also has brown leather around it too, giving it a more elegant and expensive feel. The case is a sand blasted rose gold which hides the eggshell dial, so it combines a lot of luxury in one in my opinion. When I first got the watch, out of its pretty leather box, I was instantly drawn to it. It works for both women and men as it’s unisex and I think this colour combination goes with everything, but if it doesn’t, the straps are also interchangeable! I’ve worn this pretty watch a few times already and I will be sharing the outfit I wore it with soon, but for now, I wanted to dedicate a full post to it because I really do love it. I’m happy to have added this one to my watch collection. Have any of you other fashion bloggers got the new Grace London watch? And do you love Daniel Wellington too? I would love to know! In the meantime, you…

Michael Kors Chronograph Watch Styled As His And Hers

I’m sure most of you know by now that I don’t usually worry what gender things were designed for, if I like something, then I will wear it. That’s exactly why I adore this Michael Kors Chronograph watch that I got a couple of weeks ago. It’s a men’s watch and it is quite big, but I adore the silver with the metallic blue face, I think it’s gorgeous! I wanted to make this post a little different though and show how it can work for a woman as well as a man, that’s why I have taken photos of the watch styled on my wrist as well as my boyfriends wrist. I do own another Michael Kors watch too, the Slim Runway in Silver, so I thought it would be nice to do a little his and hers photo of us both wearing Michael Kors watches. It’s pretty isn’t it? I’m also going to be holding an exclusive Twitter contest with Watches2U very soon, so you can win your dream watch! Stay tuned for that and make sure you are following me on Twitter so you are in the know! I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

My Watch Collection

I thought it might be fun to share with you my watch collection! Over the past couple of years I went from being a girl who never ever wore watches, to gaining a collection of 12! I didn’t even realise I had this many watches until I started putting this post together though. Of course, I still have plenty of watches on my wish list, some of them too expensive so I will never been able to own them, but others are more attainable. The Watch Gallery has been responsible for a lot of my expensive taste in watches, ha ha! They have some beautiful watches which I love and have included at the bottom of this post as a gift guide or wish list! Anyway, I’m going to start from the beginning and explain a little bit about each of my watches, so here we go! The watch above was one of my very first ones that I purchased about 3 years ago from ASOS. It was really cheap and I loved the metallic rainbow strap that it had on it with a gold face. I bought it specifically so I could wear it with my colourful bracelets and it definitely became one that I wore quite often! Isn’t it pretty? I love how the colours transition into each other! Next up was when I purchased my first expensive designer watch and it was my Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chrono Watch in Rose Gold. I had to get some links removed from it because it was too big, like most bracelet watches, but it’s probably been the watch…

My New Ray-Ban Erika Red Velvet Mirrored Sunglasses

You probably already know about my obsession with mirrored lens sunglasses, since I already own a few pairs of aviators in various colours, however I got these amazing Ray-Ban Sunglasses from Shade Station and have completely fallen for them! They are the new Erika frame which is sort of round, but straight on the top, with red/orange mirrored lenses. Do you want to know the best part about these though? They are made from velvet! The frames are a gorgeous and intense primary red colour and it’s actually a lot more helpful as they don’t slip off your face as much! So these are a lot more practical and cool at the same time. I’m incredibly happy to add these to my collection! They are a bit more statement making than my others, simply because the frames are a lot bolder. It’s more of a unique shape for me too as I don’t own any sunglasses in this Erika design from Ray-Ban. What do you think of them? Comment and let me know!
