Nordgreen The Unika Watch Review + Discount Code

Nordgreen Minimalist Watches Review + 15% Off As you guys know, I absolutely love watches, so when I heard about Nordgreen Watches, I was super excited to share them with you! I always take my collaborations seriously and this is a Copenhagen-based Scandinavian minimalist watch brand that offers a sustainable watch collection, so I couldn’t be happier to tell you about them! These thin watches are designed by award-winning Danish designer, Jacob Wagner (who you probably know as the world famous Bang & Olufsen designer),  honouring form and function in equal measure. Each of their watches has a different story to tell, while remaining modern classics and extremely versatile! The Nordgreen watch that I have here is the beautiful The Unika Rose Gold 28mm thin watch, with a stunning mesh strap. This one has the incredible white dial, with their simple and minimalist logo, combined with rose gold hands. The extra strap that I chose to go with it is a gorgeous brown leather, with a rose gold buckle, to complement the face. What I fell in love with on this watch the most was the unique and cool way that the strap connects to the dial. It’s a fun design that you don’t usually see on watches, and I fell in love with it for that purpose. It’s tough to add fun and quirky elements to something, while keeping its integrity and remaining a classic, but Jakob managed to do just that! It’s super lightweight as they’re known for their thin watches, and it’s very comfortable to wear. Mesh straps always offer you the ability to adjust the closure,…

Lily Arkwright – A Beautiful Moissanite Ring

I am really excited to be sharing this blog post with you all. I’ve collaborated with British luxury online jewellery retailer, Lily Arkwright, who specialise in engagement rings and lab grown diamonds, to showcase one of their stunning diamond engagement rings. As you know, I only collaborate with brands that I feel represent myself and my blog perfectly, which is why I don’t have many ads as I like everything to be authentic, and this I believe is a perfect match. Even though I am already engaged, I’m happy to show you how beautiful their rings are as I absolutely adore jewellery. I personally chose this Lily Arkwright Macy Oval Charles & Colvard Moissanite Petite Pavé 18k White Gold Shoulder Set Ring, which is set with a 0.90ct lab grown moissanite centre stone, and it’s incredible! The 18k white gold band itself is set with diamonds, so it truly is a magnificent ring to look at, especially in the sunshine, it just glistens and shines in that perfect, magical way. I couldn’t stop staring at it and looking at how feminine and elegant my hand looked with it on. When I opened the ribbon and took the lid off of the box, it just took my breath away. It’s one of those rings that looks stunning with any nail colour, any skin tone, and pretty much any outfit, as I’ve showed you in these photos a more classy ensemble, and a more evening appropriate, bold look. It works perfectly with both of them. This beauty is a solitaire ring that features a Charles & Colvard, Forever One oval cut moissanite…

Crystal Necklaces From Aura By Calum

My Crystal Necklaces from Aura by Calum If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I have a love for crystals. I always have, ever since I was little, and anywhere we went on a day trip, if there was a gift shop, I’d go straight to the crystal section. As I’ve gotten older, my love for them has only grown and instead of just going by how pretty they look, I’ve researched more into their properties as well. When I go on holiday to St. Ives, there’s a little crystal shop there and I go in it every day, it’s so comforting! There’s always something new to add to my collection, and last time I picked up real meteorite. Since I also love jewellery, and I used to carry my crystals around with me (the flat ones fit well inside your bra!) I thought about getting some jewellery with my favourite crystals on, and that’s when I came across Aura by Calum online. I originally found the exclusive pieces on ASOS and ordered a few of the Fluorite pendants (see here) because the stones are so unique, I wanted to be able to get one that I really loved and connected with. I ended up keeping two actually, so the two Fluorite gold pendants you see below, those are the ones I purchased. I reached out to Aura by Calum online to find out more about the brand after falling in love with it, which was when I realised it was started by Calum Best. If you’re in the UK, you will know him as…

Swarovski Remix Collection Review

My Swarovski Remix Collection Review This is one blog post I have been excited to share with you for weeks now! Ever since I saw the Swarovski Remix Collection when it first launched, I loved it. I thought the concept was fun, elegant, and fashionable, as well as versatile, all mixed into one. I actually had a whole lot of fun doing the photography for this as well in my own way, so I’m really happy to share it with you. It’s taken me a little while to build up my collection (remember my wish list?), and I of course want more, but I’m really happy with what I have so far, so I thought I would share this review with you. First of all, I wanted to mention that a few of these pieces were gifted from the lovely John Greed (who you know I’ve loved for years) and the rest are what I purchased myself. But before I get to the review, I wanted to point out that John Greed have an amazing promotion going on right now, so if you’re wanting a few items at once, it makes sense to shop with them! Each bracelet has an RRP of £59, so the deal is: 2 bracelets for £109, 3 bracelets for £149, 4 bracelets for £189 and £40 for any additional ones you want. That’s some great savings and they’re a fantastic reputable store too! What Is The Swarovski Remix Collection? If you’re not familiar with the brand’s most popular and most coveted collection, read on. It was made popular when Swarovski had, Karlie Kloss, Chiara Ferragni,…

MONDAINE SBB CLASSIC WATCH – A Splash Of Colour

Mondaine SBB Classic Watch In Cerise Red Review As you know, I love watches, so when I got the opportunity to work with Mondaine, I jumped at the chance. For those of you not familiar with the brand, they’re a brand that unifies timeless Swiss design with function, form and invention for today, tomorrow and always. They have been in the business over 50 years after being founded in the 1950’s. They decided the concept of using the iconic Swiss Railways Clock as an original timepiece for the wrist was a unique idea, which I think it is, and Mondaine now keep things simple, genuine and in time with the modern world, all while having that iconic face that everyone recognises. It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with a brand that has such heritage and status, so I’m excited to share with you one of their brand new designs, the Mondaine SBB Classic. This gorgeous timepiece is part of the new collection that involves a splash of colour as they have released 3 watches in red, yellow, and blue, featuring their recognisable dial. Mondaine came up with this unique concept by using their classic collection and updating this definitive design with a bold pop of colour. The idea behind this was to inject a true sense of joy to the range, which I think they have captured perfectly. The shades of cerise, sky blue and canary yellow are ideal for making a statement, especially since the straps have a quirky hole pattern on them, blending in the fastener holes, coupled with the tone-on-tone genuine leather stitching. It’s seamless! Each of…

Luxury Wristwear – Is It Worth The Investment?

What Luxury Wristwear Pieces Are Worth The Investment? Luxury and designer wristwear is something that is extremely popular, but everyone has their own thoughts and opinions on it. While some think it’s insane to spend such a large sum of money on a small item, others see them as investment pieces that are good for the future, not just now. I thought I would do a little post on the topic since I own a mixture of luxury and non luxury items, meaning I have an opinion from both sides of the conversation. I’m not at all an expert, but over the years I have come to learn what’s a good investment and what isn’t, but if it’s a timepiece or bracelet you’re looking at as a fun piece to wear and can afford it, go for it as well! My watch featured above is the BVLGARI LVCEA and it was the very first watch that I bought from a luxury brand. The LVCEA collection has been out for a few years now and this particular one is still available to buy, but I have noticed it hasn’t held its value. BVLGARI are not known for their watches being an investment and are more of a statement instead, so I don’t recommend them for buying to sell at a later point as they decrease in value when they’re used. It doesn’t matter to me though as I have no intention of selling this beautiful watch and saved up for it because I love it, but for anyone wanting a luxury timepiece which holds its value, opting for more of a…

Filippo Loreti Review: Venice Moonphase Rose Gold Blue Watch

Filippo Loreti Review It’s no secret that I love watches, and if a fancy one comes along, I’m all over it, so you can imagine my intrigue when I was first introduced to Filippo Loreti last month after reading reviews from so many people who loved the brand. I’ve got a lot of watches in my collection and have done a review for most of them, but I had never owned a moonphase watch like this one from Filippo Loreti, so I’ve now added something incredibly cool to my watch selection. For those of you new to the brand like I was, Filippo Loreti is one of the premium, direct-to-consumer watch brands, offering iconic, limited-edition designs inspired by Italy’s classic culture and architecture, but they come with a more affordable price. The watch brand was founded by Danielius and Matas Jakutis in 2014 out of Milan, Italy, after they couldn’t find a premium watch anywhere with a decent price, as most yield a 4000% profit. So in 2015 and 2016, the company set the record for the most funded timepiece project in Crowdfunding history with their campaigns! You can see everyone loved the iconic look of the Filippo Loreti watch and wanted a premium look and feel at a lower price point. Get $25 off a watch with the code: RAINDROPSXFL – valid until the end of June 2018. This particular watch that I have here is the Filippo Loreti Venice Moonphase Watch in Rose Gold Blue and it retails for £219. The Venice series captures the city of Venice with its extravagant yet sophisticated and thoughtfully curated atmosphere. Filippo…

5 Must Have Designer Accessories

(Image Credit: Apartment Therapy) I get asked quite often for my opinion on building a designer wardrobe and the pieces you might need to add to your collection if you’re looking for investment accessories, so I thought I would put a blog post together on that subject – 5 must have designer accessories. While I know a lot of these items are out of budget for a lot of people (myself included most of the time as I have to specifically save for my items and sell others I own), I know it’s going to be of use to a lot of people at the same time. The best thing about designer accessories is that if you get it right, they can often be re-sold later down the line for a similar price to what you paid, so they are investment items as much as they are statement and luxury goods. These are 5 pieces I think you can’t go wrong with and do need if you’re looking to build a luxury collection of items you can wear on a regular basis. I always find it’s best to invest in the accessories much more than the clothes as clothes can’t be worn constantly and don’t hold their value, so check out my choices below. A Classic Watch One of the first pieces I would always say is a must have for anyone looking to build a collection of designer accessories is a watch. For both men and women, they just make such a statement and ooze luxury. I’ve noticed that when you’re at events, I will often spot people looking…
