A Blue Skinny Jeans Moment

I’m Back In My Blue Jeans! It feels crazy writing this, but I’m actually back in blue jeans! I haven’t worn blue jeans in so long, I think the last time I did was when it was snowing (in this post) and that was back in February! Honestly you can expect to see them a lot more now as this new pair is a pair I am absolutely in love with! Aren’t they just stunning? They’re L’AGENCE Margot since I am obsessed with that cut, in the wash called Cascade (see here), and even though it’s not got a lot of depth to the blue, the fit makes up for that! They’re one of my most flattering jeans I think, and the back pockets are perfect. For this outfit, I styled these L’AGENCE Margot Jeans with my Mango Knitted Top, my Gucci GG Belt in Brown, my Sam Edelman Loafers in White and my Loeffler Randall Louise Basket Bag. For my Sunglasses, they are by Ray-Ban, my watch is my RADO Open Heart Skeleton Watch, and my jewellery is from Mango as well. It was a really simple and casual look that I wore on the beach in Lyme Regis. I really love the pebble beaches as they offer such a different look to the traditional sandy beaches, which I think is great for photos! Plus, we shot these pictures in the evening between 8-9pm, so it had a beautiful glow in the air without the harsh sunlight, which always adds a majestic vibe. Anyway, as always, I want to know what you think of my outfit and the photos!…

Palm Print Summer Shorts Outfit

Palm Print Shorts With A Green Outfit These photos were taken when there was a break in the rain at Lyme Regis, and I love how they turned out actually. Instead of using the beach for these ones, I wanted to find a place that showcased all the beauty that is nature, and there’s lots of it. After rain, everything always looks more plush and green, and I thought that would make a great backdrop to this outfit, which is mostly green and white, giving it a fresh, clean feel to it. I don’t usually have a lot of green in my photos these days as I tend to favour the more city scenery, or oranges, but this is refreshing! For this outfit, I wore a pair of Palm Print Shorts from H&M, paired with a Mango Knitted Tank Top, and layered my H&M Khaki Green Cardigan over the top. I hadn’t actually planned on wearing this cardigan much as it was just for the chillier days, but I wore it every day and it ended up matching this look perfectly, which I love. I finished it off with my Sam Edelman White Loafers, to give it a little more classiness, and then added in my Loefller Randall Louise Basket Bag. I got this a few months ago and due to the weather, hadn’t had any time to wear it, which is why I took it to Lyme Regis and wore it every day I was there. It’s actually so useful and so easy to carry, as it’s super lightweight on its own. Then finally, my necklace is also by…

A China Blue Floral Playsuit Outfit

A Blue China Print Playsuit Outfit On the first day when we got to Lyme Regis, after travelling for a good few hours, we changed at the hotel and headed down to the beach as the tide was out. This section of Lyme Regis is truly stunning as you are left with so many rocks and pebbles along the cliffs edge, which has rock pools and fossils, with the most amazing backdrop that reminds me of parts of Canada. For my outfit that you can see here, I was wearing a new blue China printed playsuit that I got from H&M, which I styled with my Sam Edelman White Loafers, my Cambridge Satchel Small Emily in French Grey, and my Rado Centrix Open Heart Skeleton Watch. Now you might remember this playsuit from my Currently Craving Wish List from earlier this month, but it’s also the exact same fit and style as my red one that I was living in last year. I don’t wear a lot of blue as you know, but I’m embracing it a lot more now as I actually really like it, and I adore the pairing of it with the bag. Playsuits are something that I live in during the warmer months, and I’ve actually picked up about 6 new ones, both from H&M and Mango, which I can’t wait to share with you over this summer! I love the fact that they’re so easy and simple to style because you only have to think about the accessories instead of pairing clothing pieces together, which is ideal. Anyway, please let me know what you think of…

Our Second Trip To Lyme Regis In Dorset

Our Trip To Lyme Regis This Year And I’m back! Like I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I was taking a full week off while I was on holiday. Usually I wouldn’t do that, but I didn’t think there would be much point in putting out content if I’m not here to accept your comments and reply to you, and I love that aspect of blogging, where I get to interact with you all. So now I am back from our trip to Lyme Regis in Dorset! Adam and I went there last year as well and loved it so much that we wanted to go again this year! Unfortunately this year the weather was not on our side though, it rained on and off constantly all week, so we couldn’t look for fossils and we couldn’t go on any woodland walks either since it was closed off, and then on the last day, the sun came out for a couple of hours, before we were due to come home, and we got sun burned! Anyway, there were moments of beauty in the evenings when the rain stopped for a while, and it was nice to be away, but I often find we never get breaks fully because we’re always shooting photos so that we don’t waste an opportunity. You can see all of the photos that we shot on my iPhone in this blog post, and of course separate outfit posts will be coming soon as well over the next month or so! Plus, at the bottom of this post, there’s a little new purchase surprise you…

New Mulberry Pale Slate Bags For Summer

Mulberry Small Darley in Pale Slate As you know, I have been a fan of Mulberry since way back before 2010 when I opened this blog. It would be over 10 years now that I’ve loved the brand. My blog post that I wrote not long ago about the classic Mulberry bags that you need is one of my best performing posts this year, so I thought I would share with you the brand new colour leather from the brand that is gorgeous! It’s a perfect pale blue named ‘Pale Slate’ so I assume it has grey undertones, but what I am attracted to most, other than the cool and beautiful shade of leather, is the silver hardware. Usually Mulberry go for a brass or gold, so this is a nice change as I think this blue tone suits silver the most! It comes in almost all of their bag styles, accessories, and keyrings, as well as a 70’s print, but I’ve chosen 6 of my favourite Mulberry bags in Pale Slate to share with you! First up (above) is the Mulberry Small Darley (you might remember I reviewed it in Oak) and it’s my favourite that I have added to my wish list! The Small Darley is one of their iconic bags with the signature postman’s lock and is perfect for carrying essentials or valuables as it’s quite petite. It’s only 13cm by 19cm by 4.5cm, so you can see it’s the perfect small and compact design! I’m planning to check the Mulberry shop in Somerset soon as I drive past it, just to see how gorgeous this is…

Double Denim And A Baseball Cap

Double Denim With A Baseball Cap Some blue denim! It’s been a little while since I wore blue denim, as someone pointed out to me on Instagram a couple of days ago, saying they missed it, so this is as close as I have got so far! I do plan on wearing my new blue jeans soon (these ones), so stay tuned! For this outfit though, it’s a casual and sporty look that I wore to town a couple of weekends ago. As you can see in some of the photos, it was on and off raining all day which is why I was wearing a hat and why my hair was frizzy. The British weather is just insane lately! Usually by mid June it’s scorching hot, but it’s freezing and constantly raining, so it’s all over the place as usual. Not that I’m complaining as I hate it when it’s too hot, just stating a fact since I’m British and it’s what we do – talk about the weather! I was wearing my GRLFRND Embroidered Denim Jacket (you saw it here before) which I layered over a grey tank top from GAP (picked this one up at Clarks Village) and paired it with my L’AGENCE Margot Skinny Jeans in Graphite (what else!). For my shoes I opted for my Balenciaga Race Runners in Black and then borrowed one of Adam’s baseball caps from New Era, since he has the largest collection! I thought the grey marl matched perfectly with the entire combination! Blue, black and grey is a winner! I find my taste in outfits varies every single day,…

Currently Craving Wish List: June 2019

I know I usually do my Currently Craving Wish Lists around three quarters of the way through the month, or near the end, but I’m doing it early this month as I’m actually taking a full week off very soon! I’m having a much needed holiday next week and I’m really excited! Usually I would plan all of my content in advance and schedule it to go out over the duration of me being away, however I have found that stressful and counter productive, simply because I’m not here to reply to your comments and interact with you all about the content, so I will just wait until I’m back. Don’t worry though, I have two more blog posts going live after this one, so I’m not going away just yet and there will of course still be new content for you this week! Anyway, getting to my wish list for June, there’s numerous pieces I’ve included on here that I’ve actually purchased and adore! Plus, since they’re cheaper, they’re so affordable for everyone! You might remember that last year I was living in my playsuits because it was so hot all the time, and my H&M ones were the options I loved the most. With that in mind, I have purchased a few different patterns from H&M and absolutely am obsessed! I’ve got the black roses, the blue floral, the leopard print, the yellow lemons and more! I cannot wait to wear them! There’s so many cute styles and versions in my list though, so if you’re a playsuit fan, you can’t go wrong! I’ve also picked up a…

A Beautiful Pastel Blue Summer Dress

A Beautiful Baby Blue Dress From Yumi Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a fun weekend ahead! For those of you who have been following my trip to Clarks Village posts and watched the stories on my Instagram (see them here) you might remember this gorgeous Light Blue Yumi Dress! It was the first dress that I saw and fell in love with when I was at the shopping outlet, and I couldn’t believe the price as it was knocked down to just £16! They also had a pale pink and a pale yellow, but the baby blue was a shade that caught my eye, and since I don’t wear much blue at all (outside of denim anyway) I was mesmerised by it and knew I would love to style it. I took a size 10 in this Yumi Dress and it fits perfectly! I love the striped net that it has on the outside, and the separate petticoat underneath, which really adds to the look. I feel like this is the perfect summer dress to wear to a friends wedding or to a garden party, as it’s smart and classic, but also youthful and fun at the same time. Obviously it’s not available online as it’s past season, but I have included a few different blue dresses from Yumi as alternative options for you! I decided to style this dress with my Gucci Dionysus Bag and a pair of Topshop Wedges that I have had for years, in a complementary shade to give me some height. For the accessories, I chose the Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses in Mirrored Blue…
