I decided recently that I need to start stocking up on neutral accessories. I have so many brightly coloured bags and shoes but barely any neutral coloured ones. Sometimes you just need to keep the shades muted and simple, I don’t want to make all of my outfits too overpowering. I picked up this River Island postman lock satchel bag in the sale last week and I got these Bloch nude flats courtesy of Spartoo. I’ve always loved Bloch flats because I have really sensitive feet and they are the only flats I find that don’t hurt my heels much. I love that about them! It’s my birthday in just under three weeks so I am saving for a neutral proper bag when I go shopping in London. I’m thinking Mulberry or another Marc by Marc Jacobs! I got the chance to ask the wonderful Fearne Cotton, along with some other fashion bloggers, some questions about her new Autumn/Winter 2011 collection for Very.co.uk. I’ve seen a lot of Fearne’s clothes from previous seasons and I definitely think this one is my favourite. She’s used many colours and used lots of different styles. You can read the interview and view lots of images in this blog post. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook) Lorna: A lot of designers use a darker colour palette for AW collections, what made you decide to keep brights for yours? I think it’s really important to include plenty of bright colour in your AW11 wardrobe – otherwise things can get very depressing! Lorna: What piece in your AW collection would you say most describes you? The black dress with a vintage cream print and ruffle lace sleeves. It’s a simple design, but made special with the little quirky details. It’s very comfy but girly at the same time. Something I know I will wear to death!

Here is another little interview I did. This one was my second interview for Acid City Magazine. I spoke to them about the denim trends and why I love denim so much, how I got into it and about my personal style blog, Raindrops of Sapphire. I am always in amazement when I look at peoples closets, especially celebrities, the amount of organization, home staging thought and clothes in them is just so surreal to me! I could only ever dream of having a closet as amazing as some of these! My bedroom pretty much is my closet, it consists of a double bed, a bedside table, a fish tank, 2 big wardrobes, a shoe shelf and a drawer unit, all of which are for clothes, shoes and accessories. It would be amazing to have a separate room for clothes though! My favourites in this post have to be Khloe Kardashian’s shoe closet above and below, it’s incredible! I also love Ashley Tisdale’s organization and denim collection as I do Eva Longoria’s. I’m very envious! Christina Aguilera has a ladder for her shoes and it’s all pink, I love that too! Which do you love? (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
So as you know, I was attending the wedding of one of my boyfriends best friends yesterday and I had the most amazing time. I spent ages picking a dress and I finally settled on this coral one from Lipsy which I shared with you a while ago. I did 5 hours worth of traveling yesterday so I was completely exhausted by the end of it, that’s why I didn’t post yesterday. The bride looked absolutely stunning and the groom looked handsome, everything about the day was beautiful and just really nice. The table settings, the flowers, the hotel, the music (a DJ instead of a wedding band) it was gorgeous! I didn’t know anyone there so I was a little out of my comfort zone but everyone was wonderful to me and the food was amazing! The best part of the food was this soft chocolate brownie cake with a white chocolate basket with fruit in it. Delicious! I didn’t even make me feel sick after like I normally do! I was wearing my Lipsy coral dress, my Elizabeth & James E-More booties, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie clutch and my Adele Marie pink swarovski bangle. (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie Clutch. Lately there have been a few things that have crept on my wish list so I thought I would share them with you. The Dandelion Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie clutch is my favourite and I am currently saving up for it. Some of the other items are a bit more affordable but I think a lot of these will just end up staying on my wish list unfortunately. What are some of the things you are saving for or wanting?
