Follow Shopbop & Myself To WIN A $100 Gift Voucher For Shopbop.com!

This contest is closed and the winner is @Laroyal06. Congratulations! I have teamed up with one of my favourite online stores, Shopbop.com, to give you lovely Raindrops of Sapphire readers the chance to WIN a $100 gift card for their store! They have so many amazing things on Shopbop, I do shop there a lot because if you are an international customer like myself, you can pay your customs/tax fees at the checkout and if the customs charge was less than what Shopbop estimated, you get refunded the difference. So it works out well! Plus they have free shipping which takes only two days to get to me from the US to the UK and amazing customer service. So I am very excited to hold this contest! If you are not familiar with the store, they stock J Brand, Current/Elliott, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Jeffrey Campbell, Sam Edelman, Equipment Blouses, Wildfox, Ray-Ban, Torn by Ronny Kobo tees, Free People, Mink Pink, Siwy, Rag & Bone, Young Fabulous and Broke clothing and literally hundreds more! So all you have to do to enter this $100 gift card giveaway is follow Raindrops of Sapphire and Shopbop on Twitter (click names to follow) and tweet the following entry: CONTEST – RT & Follow @LornaRaindrops & @Shopbop to WIN a $100 Shopbop Gift Card! bit.ly/PChbl4 It’s as simple as that! Zebra Print Jeans

(Jeans – Exact, Heels – Similar, Top – Exact, Wristlet – Exact) I bought these Current/Elliott Zebra jeans last month when I had a Shopbop voucher, along with the neon Marc by Marc Jacobs iPhone wristlet. I originally saw them at the Current/Elliott Autumn/Winter 2012 press day in London a few months ago and fell in love with them. They instantly caught my eye and I was smitten! These are the next in their animal print trend after their famous leopard jeans and snake print. I’m wearing Current/Elliott skinny jeans in Zebra, an ASOS black top, Topshop Saffi Heels and my Marc by Marc Jacobs iPhone fluoro lime wristlet. I decided pairing these jeans with block colours was the way to go, so they remained the focal point of the outfit and I didn’t over do it. I’ve always thought burgundy or deep red goes so nicely with black and white, so that’s why I chose the shoes and the little wristlet just makes a colour pop! I can’t wait to wear these more. What do you think of the outfit? Do you like it?

New Purchases – Mulberry, J Brand, Current/Elliott, Zara, Topshop & H&M!

As you know, I usually like to share my new purchases with you every couple of months when I have a few to show. This time, thanks to the sales and also eBay, I have a few new ones that I am excited to post about! So here they all are! Above is my new Mulberry Alexa Clutch in Denim Loopy Leopard. I managed to score it on eBay, new, for an amazing price! I haven’t seen such a good deal like that on a rarer bag before. It arrived this morning and I love it so much! It’s perfect as it’s denim and I love the pops of colours on it! It’s really really pretty in person! I can’t wait to show it to you in an outfit post soon! This is my new Topshop Neon Yellow denim jacket. I had been eyeing it for some time on the Topshop website, perhaps for two months, but I never took the plunge and bought it until a couple of weeks ago. I decided it was time to add it to my wardrobe and I am glad that I did because it’s actually quite pastel neon so it’s very pretty, it’s not too in your face and the denim is light weight so it’s great for warmer weather! Again, I can’t wait to wear this in one of my outfit posts! Above is a couple of H&M essential tops that I got really cheap. I always need new vest tops and I love how short these are in the front and longer at the back. That’s perfect for me as I…

My New Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Spike Shoes

I’m really excited to say that I teamed up with one of the leading Jeffrey Campbell stockists in the UK and a great shoe store, Sarenza. They sent me these gorgeous Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Spike heels and I will be doing two styling challenges! I can’t wait to style these shoes and figure out two different outfits to wear them with. I’m sort of obsessed with these shoes! They really fill my need and love for spikes and studs and seeing as the platform is big, they are very comfortable to walk in, heavy, but comfortable! This is actually my first time trying Jeffrey Campbell too, which I was excited about! Sarenza have some great shoes online, as well as Jeffrey Campbell, they stock brands like Ash, Rocket Dog, Converse, LK Bennett, Irregular Choice and so many more womens shoes. They have quite a lot of nice wedges, heels, flats and boots so I was very happy to take part in this small collaboration with them as I love the shoes they stock and would buy them without question. Especially the Ash and Jeffrey Campbell shoes! Those are two of my favourite brands! What do you think of these gorgeous Foxy Spikes?

Cuffed Diesel Jeans With A Cream Blazer

(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Bag – Similar, Shoes – Exact) I want to apologise for not being able to post much this week. The simple reason for that is because my internet has been playing up and not letting me access my blog properly, so currently I am making this post from my friends. I am hoping it’s resolved sooner rather than later because it’s been absolutely frustrating! I’m wearing my Diesel skinny jeans, a Topshop cream blazer, flower necklace and lace up shoes with my trusty H&M white t-shirt and my Mulberry Alexa Clutch in Powder Beige Sparkle Tweed. This is an outfit I wore last weekend to lunch and shopping with my boyfriend in town. I decided on wearing my jeans cuffed with some lace up flats, but made it more classic with the cream blazer and flower necklace. I actually really love the way it turned out and how simple it is! What do you think? On a side note, I’m hoping the weather warms up soon though, I like being able to wear sunglasses as I think they make a look even better, so I’m going to be on the look out for some more designer sun glasses that I would love to own, or similar ones, I think I need some new styles and shapes. For a blogger my collection is actually quite limited, ha ha, but I put that down to being English!

Topshop, Miss Selfridge & Topman Autumn/Winter 2012 Press Day

This post has been a bit of a long time coming and I apologise for that. I have just been so busy with other posts, I didn’t have time to put it together. But here are the images from the Topshop, Miss Selfridge and Topman Autumn/Winter 2012 press day which I attended in London last month. Everything was shown together as it was actually at the Arcadia press event and I definitely saw some cute pieces that I can’t wait for! Especially from Topshop! I have included the images in this post and the text underneath them. I was only allowed to post 5 images from each brand, so unfortunately there are not that many to see, but I did pick my favourite ones of course! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)

Dip Dye Ombre Denim Shorts & Neon Pink

(Shorts – Exact, Top – Similar, Shoes – Similar, Sunglasses – Exact, Bag – Exact) This is an outfit from a couple of weeks ago when we had a heatwave for a while. It was really nice to be able to go out in shorts and a tank top, it makes such a refreshing change to not be cold as well. I find that living in England is really limiting to what I can wear, it’s quite annoying as I always prefer Summer clothes! Again this outfit sort of fulfills my obsession with dip dye and ombre. I think it’s such an amazing trend! I also really like the pairing of the aqua blue with the bright pink, I think they set each other off nicely. I also wore my Jackie Ohh sunglasses that I haven’t yet taken on an outing, even though I bought them last year! I bought quite a few discount sunglasses last year, authentic, I just mean at a lower price point online. I need to wear them more! I was wearing my Siwy Camilla shorts in Mixed Signals, my old River Island neon pink top, ASOS bronze gladiator sandals (also old), my new Marc by Marc Jacobs Blossom Karlie, my Sphere of Life Cuddles the Hedgehog necklace and my Jackie Ohh Ray Ban Sunglasses. I also wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who entered my Sphere of Life Cuddles the Hedgehog necklace giveaway. As a consolation prize to those of you who didn’t win, Sphere of Life are offering the first 30 customers 25% off Cuddles with the code RAINDROPS86 which I…

Summer Jackets & Blazers

Since we were experiencing a heatwave a little while ago, which I was insanely excited about, it inspired me to do a Summer Jackets & Blazers post! I think what really sets Summer jackets apart from Winter, or everyday jackets, is the fact that they come in pastel shades and light hues, combined with lighter weight fabrics, so they are perfect for wearing over your dresses in the evening when it gets a little chilly. I have combined my favourite Summer Jacket picks in this post, not surprisingly they all come from Topshop as it’s my favourite store. The dip dye ombre pink and orange one below is my absolute favourite as well as the neon orange yellow one! I think they are amazing. There are links under each image so you can buy the jackets too. Which do you like the most? Update – I’ve added a few more current jackets which are available to buy at the bottom too. This post is from 2012, so not all of the ones featured here are available. Head to the bottom of the post to see the new ones! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook) Topshop Co-Ord Ombre Fluid Blazer. Topshop Moto Neon Yellow Denim Biker.
