Tie Dye Double Denim

(Shirt – Similar, Shorts – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Bracelets – Similar, Watch – Similar) I wore this outfit yesterday for a picnic in the park with my mum and brother as the weather was supposed to be really hot. I know it was the hottest this year so far in London, but here it was sort of cloudy and just warm. Luckily the shoes kept my feet warm! This is a shirt that I bought about 4-5 months ago, but I never got around to wearing. I was struggling with things to pair it with, but I quite like this outfit I put together quickly yesterday. I’m wearing a Topshop tie-dye denim shirt, my vintage Levi’s denim shorts, my new River Island hidden heel trainers in Burgundy, a mix of bracelets from Topshop, H&M and New Look and my ASOS rainbow watch. This shirt is actually really long, as you can see from the back photos, and it’s the same length at the front, however I left a couple of buttons undone and tucked the sides into my front pockets so it’s shorter at the front. I always find myself adjusting pieces of clothing to make them fit me right. Sometimes with my tops, I really love the look of them so I want to wear them, but they just don’t sit right or fit right with what I’m wearing, so I have to go about adjusting them in this sort of way. I always make things work if I love something, ha ha! What do you think of the outfit?

The Mint Skinny Jeans

(Jeans – Similar, Top – Exact, Bag – Similar, Watch – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Necklace – Similar) I should have posted this outfit a little while ago as it’s actually the outfit that I wore for my second birthday lunch (see the first one here) with just my boyfriend on the 4th. I have so many other photos and posts though, it got a little sidetracked. But none the less, I really liked this outfit! It’s simple but cute and I like the sheer shirt with the mint shade of the jeans. Although, after looking at these photos, I feel like I should have maybe picked a lighter shoe. I’m wearing Mavi mint skinny jeans, a Miss Selfridge studded shoulder shirt, my Topshop amethyst necklace, Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chrono watch in Rose Gold, my Urban Outfitters wedges, some AVON beaded bracelets and my Mulberry Alexa clutch. I have noticed as well that my hair is getting naturally darker. It usually lightens up a lot in the summer from the sun, but I guess since we haven’t had that much of it this year, it’s staying darker. As much as I don’t like to get my hair dyed, I think I might need to get some highlights. And just a reminder, my Sphere of Life Mosaic bracelet giveaway is ending today, make sure you enter! I Just Wanted To Say…

I just wanted to make a bit of a personal post as I was inspired by Elizabeth’s post on her blog here. It got me thinking that I feel exactly the same way. Blogging really is just a place that bloggers, like myself, get to share a part of their life with their readers. That’s exactly what I am doing, I’m sharing just a small snippet of my life as well as the things I like and I am very happy that you all appreciate it and love to follow me while enjoying my posts and my style 🙂 Blogging is like an outlet for me, I honestly couldn’t live without it and you all make my day when I read your comments and when I see the numbers of my views/stats going up and up. It’s a really nice feeling to know that everything I do on my blog is responded to in a good way. I originally started out blogging because I wanted a place where I could share my personal style, likes and dislikes with people and hopefully connect with some of you in the way of having similar style and a love for fashion. I was initially very scared because it’s a daunting process putting yourself out there. It does make you very vulnerable and very open to criticism and abuse (which I have been through before) and that’s why at first I wasn’t making my blog personal, I was just keeping it about fashion and my style. Now though, I am a very strong person and I have grown a lot. I’m strong minded, I…

Some New Purchases – Wedge Sneakers, Dip Dye, Burgundy & More!

It’s been a little while since I put together a new purchases post, so here it finally is! These are all pieces that I have bought over the past month, but two of them I got given as a birthday gift. Even though everything I buy is usually fairly cheap (unless I’ve saved for something expensive) I have to cut back on my spending. I had three part time jobs, 2 of which are blogging and the other was doing some listings for a company, however the listings job I can no longer do as the shop closed, so I’m still in the process of looking for something else I can do. So on that note, I probably wont have a new purchases post for quite some time again as I’m not able to get anything. I think I am going to take to doing DIY and customizing my current clothes! I love doing that! And of course I will share it with you. Anyway, above is my new River Island hidden wedge trainers/sneakers in burgundy. I’m not usually a sporty shoe kind of girl, but I fell in love with these a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t take my eyes off of them, so I finally decided to snap them up. They don’t make my feet look really big, which is something I worry about, and the burgundy colour is so pretty! For shoes they weren’t overly expensive either. I love them! (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook) I got these dip dye shorts from Topshop about 6 weeks ago, but I don’t think I ever shared…

Relaxing At The Park In A Leopard Maxi Skirt

(Skirt – Similar, Top – Exact, Sandals – Exact, Sunglasses – Exact, Necklace – Similar, Bracelet – Exact) I wore this outfit on Friday when I went to the park to wind down. I usually don’t feel the heat because I have cold hands and feet all the time, but on this day I was actually almost roasted and I had to go and sit in the shade after 10 minutes. It was really nice to just lie there on the grass and blanket and just appreciate the quiet. Like I mentioned in my previous post, the weekend really was some much needed rest for me. I’m wearing an unbranded Leopard maxi skirt, a Miss Selfridge burgundy tank top, ASOS Flossy sandals, Ray Ban Cat Eye sunglasses, H&M bracelets, my Urban Outfitters Deer necklace, my Gina Stewart Sapphire bracelet and my beautiful Sphere of Life Mosaic bracelet. I went with this outfit as it was something really simple and bold at the same time. Apart from the accessories, nothing cost me over £18. The skirt was a find on eBay under £10 and the tank top was cheap too. I always have the thought process that if something looks good and seems to be made quite well, then it doesn’t matter if it has a designer name on it or not. I just usually like what I like, whether that’s unbranded things or not. By the way, the Sphere of Life Mosaic bracelet giveaway ends in 3 days, so make sure you enter to win the beautiful bracelet!

Among The Fields Of Gold

(Shorts – Exact, Top – Similar, Sandals – Exact, Bag – Exact, Watch – Exact, Bracelets – Similar) I wore this outfit yesterday and my boyfriend and I found this really beautiful secluded area not too far away from where I live. It’s a nature area where there were rabbits, wood pigeons, pheasants and loads of other adorable animals that were in the wheat field. Obviously I didn’t venture into the field because it belongs to someone and I wouldn’t want to disturb the animals, but just sitting there and enjoying the peace and quiet, surrounded by nature, was wonderful. It’s something I would love to do every single day. I was wearing my vintage Levi’s denim shorts, a H&M button up top and beaded bracelets, ASOS Flossy sandals, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chrono Rose Gold watch and Classic Q Pixie bag in Coral, an Urban Outfitters flower in a bottle necklace, Topshop & Miss Selfridge Skull bracelets and my Kitsch hair tie/bracelet. I think this post actually might be one of my favourites. Not because of the outfit, that’s a simple one for the hot weather, but purely because of how happy I felt there and how beautiful the scenery was. These are the types of moments I treasure forever. The type that create happy memories without spending money. Created just from nature itself and being with someone you love. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Bleulab Reversible Jeans & Colourful Details

(Jeans – Similar, Top – Similar, Heels – Exact, Necklace – Similar, Bracelets – Exact & Exact) One thing I like to do, which I am sure you have noticed, is wear a lot of colour. Especially on rainy days when it’s warm enough, I like to make my outfits bright and fun to cheer me up from the weather gloom. I bought this top about 2 months ago in the sale at Urban Outfitters as I was just instantly drawn to it, so I bought it without even trying it on. It’s so soft and lovely! I’m wearing Bleulab reversible skinny jeans, an Urban Outfitters tank top, my gifted Sam Edelman Yelena heels, a Topshop spike necklace, H&M beaded bracelets, Kitsch hair tie bracelets and my new Gina Stewart bracelet courtesy of Mimi Noor. I got given this bracelet on my birthday by the wonderful ladies at Mimi Noor as a thank you for doing a guest post for them. I love it because it’s pink, my favourite colour, and it has a sapphire on which matches my blog name! I also really love these Bleulab jeans, I adore the fact that you can reverse them as they are double sided! Don’t forget to enter my Sphere of Life Mosaic bracelet giveaway here!
