I know I mentioned to you before, when I made my post about the Selfridges event with Paige in London, that I didn’t have any outfit photos, well I found these from the official event photos and it’s the closest I can get to showing you my outfit. When I’m caught off guard my face seems to look pretty ridiculous as you can see below, ha ha. Anyway, I was wearing my oversized Topshop denim shirt, my Miss Selfridge brown leggings, my ASH Bowie sneakers and my ASOS blue satchel. Sorry that I don’t have anymore photos! At least in the one above, where I was asked to hold up my favourite Paige jeans, you can sort of see from head to toe. You can see more of the official event photos on DenimBlog along with a video here. What do you think? (Follow me on Twitter, Bloglovin and Facebook)
I thought it was about time that I did a new purchases post again, as I have been buying a few things appropriate for Autumn, but also a couple of things that were for the end of Summer that I didn’t yet share with you. Most of the pieces I bought on sale or on eBay, so I got some great deals on them! There’s nothing I love more than finding the pieces you want on sale or for a fraction of the price! Above on the left is my new mint shirt from Forever 21. It wasn’t expensive as I’m sure you have guessed since it came from that shop, but I thought it was really cute! I’ve sort of got a little addiction to mint lately and sleeveless shirts! On the right is a large floral snood that I got from Warehouse for over 50% off. I know florals are for Spring and Summer mainly, but I plan on wearing it with my leather jacket and skinny jeans so I can transition it to Autumn too! The first bag above is one that I have had my eye on for a while! It’s the black and shearling cross body bag from ASOS. It wasn’t expensive at all, it was in the region of £25 if I remember correctly, but I thought it would be perfect for the cooler wear! It looks very Wintery and pretty! Below is one that I got from Forever 21, again it was cheap, around £20 so I couldn’t say no. I love the contrast of the plum and navy together, it’s really cute!…
(Jacket – Exact, Collar – Exact, T-Shirt – Exact, Jeans – Exact, Bag – Exact, Shoes – Similar) This is the outfit that I wore yesterday when I went out for the afternoon with my boyfriend. We ate at Wagamama’s and did some window shopping. You can see our food photos at the bottom of this post, just to let you know! I bought this faux fur collar in the sale last week and I absolutely love it! I love the look of furry items (faux of course, never real) and I think this will be so versatile! Instead of buying new coats and jackets, I can just wear it around my existing ones like here! I’m wearing my Koral jeans, Topshop PU leather jacket, Pieces faux fur collar and mink bag from ASOS, a Forever 21 t-shirt and my River Island black booties. Again this is another combination of my favourite colours for Autumn; burgundy, black and white. I actually really like how this turned out though, the faux fur collar really adds something to the look. Also, I wanted to say thank you to Stylight for sending me a gift bag which included a pretty blue crystal necklace and blogger tote (pictured below). Did you all have a nice weekend? What do you think of my outfit? As always you can purchase the pieces I’m wearing in the links under the first image.
I didn’t see much point in posting loads of different fashion week posts, purely because every other blogger is covering it and we all go to the brands websites or magazines to see the shows images. What I wanted to do was just pile my favourite looks together from my favourite shows that have walked so far. This includes Mulberry, Marc by Marc Jacobs and suprisingly Burberry. I have never really been a fan of Burberry, purely because living here in England it has a bit of a stigma to it, but the Spring/Summer 2013 show was my favourite fashion week show that I have ever seen! It was incredible! I can’t say that I have been a fan of many of the other shows as a whole. There have been a couple of looks I liked here and there, but in terms of a full collection, these three are my favourites. You may think I am a bit biased since Marc Jacobs and Mulberry are two of my most adored brands, but there is a reason for that – I literally love most of the things they design, so it makes sense. I didn’t really like much from the actual Marc Jacobs line though, just his Marc by Marc Jacobs collection. So, if you click this post you can see my favourite looks from the three shows and my thoughts on them!
(Jeans – Exact, Top – Exact, Jacket – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Watch – Exact) I wore this outfit a couple of weekends ago when I went to dinner with my dad and his new partner. It was a nice simple pub dinner, but I chose my usual of a Caesar salad and I had raspberry sorbet for desert. I never really like to experiment too much with food, it sort of scares me with my intolerance’s, so I generally stick to what I know best. This is another combination though of my favourite colour shades, burgundy, black and white. I thought it would be fun to have elements of leopard and panda though! Plus, the scenery was amazing. I will have more photos of it when I post my upcoming Instagram snaps soon! I’m wearing my Current/Elliott burgundy leopard jeans, an Urban Outfitters Panda top, my Topshop PU leather sleeveless jacket and Studded slippers, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chrono watch and some various bracelets. Also, next Friday I am headed to Bristol Fashion Week at the Mall at Cribbs Causeway. It’s the same one I attended last time, but obviously for a different season! I will be there as a fashion blogger, tweeting live from the show. Anyone can go though as a regular attendee, you can purchase a ticket at their website. It’s hosted by Andrew Barton and Mark Heyes who are so funny and great together! You should definitely check it out! They also have pampering sessions at the Mall like Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and more!
I have collaborated with one of my favourite stores, Harrods, to create my handbag wish list and share it with you! I have chosen 8 Designer Handbags, 4 of which are Mulberry (my favourite) and they are all bags that I would love to own! My obsession with bags has developed so intensely over the past coupe of years and I am always on the look out for which ones I would love to add to my ever growing wish list. Above is the Mulberry Bayswater Tote in Chocolate which I think is absolutely gorgeous! I love the Chocolate colour and the tote version is such a cute take on the classic style. It would be great if you were going away on holiday and you needed some extra room for your things, but want to keep it stylish! Another one of my favourites, Marc by Marc Jacobs. This is the Flipping Out bag and I think it’s so beautiful! I love the combination of black, brown and cream with the different textures. Plus, I think the shape is adorable! It would be a dream come true if it came in a mini version!
(Jeans – Similar, Top – Exact, Shoes – Similar, Bag – Similar, iPhone Case – Exact, Watch – Exact) I took these photos last weekend quickly while I was out with my boyfriend for a little while. There are not a huge amount of photos though this time, sorry! Just a few different angles. I decided to wear neon pink since I will be saying goodbye to the hot weather, I wanted to be as bright as I could, ha ha! I’m wearing my 7 For All Mankind Neon Pink Jeans, my Miss Selfridge Studded Shirt, a H&M Mini Pink Bag, my Topshop Lace Up Flats, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Blade Chrono Rose Gold Watch and an Urban Outfitters Rainbow Cat iPhone Case. Also, I did feature this iPhone case in my London purchases post a little while ago, but I thought I would share it properly. I am absolutely in love with it because it has a cat on it and it’s ombre with two of my favourite colours; pink and purple! I absolutely adore it and don’t want to take it off! You can purchase all of the clothes I’m wearing with the ‘exact’ and ‘similar’ links above.
I have noticed that the past few days have been increasingly colder and I am in need of a jacket or jumper as well as having the heating on indoors. Already I am beginning to miss the boiling hot Summer days that I spent in the park and just being able to enjoy the sunshine that we don’t often see here in England. However, I am sort of welcoming our transition into Autumn as it’s one of my favourite seasons. It means I get to start layering my clothes and wearing my cute jackets and scarves as well as getting to see the amazing Autumn hues of red, orange, yellow and brown. I really do think that it’s the most prettiest season! There is something about that crisp fresh air which is quite sharp and cold in your throat, but it’s not too cold to be unbearable. Above is a collage of my favourite photos from the months just gone and below is a collage of some of my favourite photos from the Autumns we have previously had. Are you ready to say goodbye to Summer and hello to Autumn? I’m not sure I’m completely ready, but I don’t think I have a choice! Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful weekend with fun plans! Don’t forget to catch my live stream on my sidebar for the London Fashion Week shows as well, I have watched a few already!
