LOOK Magazine Feature & Some Cool New Things

This is sort of like an update post with some new features, interesting new things and more. Starting it off is my feature in LOOK magazine! My arm swag image was in last weeks copy with Jennifer Aniston on the front page. I love LOOK magazine so it’s such an honour to be featured, especially right next to Chiara Ferragni and Anarchy Street, who both have a huge amount of followers. Mine is the bottom right image as you can see. I was so excited when I found out about this! Have you got the copy? You can follow me on Instagram for my daily photos at @LornaRaindrops. Below is a brand new venture that I wanted to share with you called Azigo. It’s a new website which enables you to keep track of your emails in a layout that’s sort of similar to Bloglovin and Pinterest. It works great if you have so many emails in your inbox and you want to keep track of brands daily emails etc in one place. You can sign up to the brands and stores you love and receive all of their emails in your Azigo inbox in a preview form. The best thing though is I am their first blogger to be a part of the site! I’ve teamed up with them so you can also follow my personal style blog updates in the same way you would sign up to a brand newsletter! You will get an email in your Azigo inbox every time I make a new post. It’s actually an amazing site and really efficient for keeping things up…

Stocking Up On Winter Coats

I have collaborated with Boohoo.com to choose some of my favourite winter coats! Over here in England, it’s already really cold and I’m in need of a warm coat to keep the chill away from my skin. I have a few in my wardrobe and my favourite would have to be my long princess cut burgundy coat that I was wearing often last year, but I have been looking around for new ones to buy. I love the idea of a faux fur coat, I think they are really cute! But I also love all of the choices above. The first one is my favourite out of the six, it’s so versatile since it’s black, yet the faux fur adds that little something extra to it which makes it appealing on the eye as well as warm and cosy! The second choice, the cape with the furry hood, is so cute! I fell in love with it when I saw it online! I think it’s great for those days when it’s not cold enough for a full coat, but you still need warmth. My third pick was a classic black skirted pea coat. I love the simplicity of this one, but the gold military inspired buttons make it stand out! My fourth option was another one with faux fur, but around the collar and cuffs. I love the colours of this one, I think the two tones of beige suit each other perfectly. Next at number five, is more like a winter jacket, it’s a black faux leather and khaki sleeve combination which I think is amazing! I love the…

The Peplum And The Shearling

(Jeans – Similar, Top – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Bag – Exact, Shoes – Exact, Necklace – Exact, Ring – Similar) I think I can safely say that Autumn is my favourite time of the year for scenery. It’s just amazing when I look out and see the leaves turning orange, and the way the sun glares through the trees is just beautiful. I took these photos on Saturday while I was out and about with my boyfriend. Luckily I managed to avoid the rain though as it was on and off all day. I’m wearing an old Faux Leather Fleece Collar Jacket, a Burgundy Peplum top and Velvet Hidden Wedge Trainers all from Topshop, my James Jeans Couture Jeans, a Shearling Bag and Mushroom Necklace from ASOS and a Disney Couture Apple Ring. This top is actually my first item that’s in the form of peplum. I have always loved the trend and recognise it from the 80’s, but I never got around to trying it. Also, I’m temporarily trying out a few burgundy streaks in my hair at the moment. I was contemplating getting some permanent colour, however I wasn’t sure. I’m not great at having my hair dyed as I prefer it natural, but I have actually grown quite fond of them now I think! What do you think of them? And do you like the outfit?

My New Mulberry Mini Taylor In Sycamore

Many of you already know that I have been on the search for a Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown literally for about 15 months. It sold out in the stores and it never appeared in the outlets and I also missed one on eBay some time ago as I got outbid. Since then, I haven’t been able to find one, let alone get my hands on one, much to my disappointment. Mulberry brought out a new colour this Autumn though, called Sycamore, and I fell in love with that one! It’s sort of like a mustard, but with a brown tone to it, it’s so beautiful, the shade matches the leaves perfectly. I am very happy to finally have a Mini Taylor as the shape is one that I have been fond of for so long. So without further ado, here is my new Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore. I actually think I may love it more than Deer Brown now as the colour is just that little bit more vibrant! You can find it online here at Selfridges.

Berries And Cream

(Jeans – Similar, Blazer – Similar, Scarf – Similar, T-Shirt – Similar, Heels – Similar, Rings – Similar & Similar) I am sorry that I haven’t done as many outfit posts as I had hoped for this week, but here is my final outfit post of the week. I actually wore this about two weeks ago, but I never got around to posting the photos yet. I named the post berries and cream purely because I think the colour combination reminds me of that. I really like the tones together. I’m wearing M2F skinny jeans in Wintermelon, a H&M t-shirt, a cream blazer, floral snood, pink gemstone ring and nude metallic toe cap Gabbi heels, all from Topshop and an AVON chunky ring. What do you think of my outfit? The leaves are really starting to change and drop here now so I am actually quite excited to do outfit photos this weekend with a very Autumn inspired background! It’s my favourite time of year for photos. Anyway, don’t forget to enter my Mimi Noor Spirit Hood giveaway! I’m running it right now and you can enter here. Good luck everyone and enjoy the weekend!

The Little Things That Make Me Happy

I think it’s fair to say I have been dealt more than a fair share of rubbish throughout my life, which I try not to dwell on, so it’s always the little things in life which I try to reflect on that are so important and keep me going. I know I am wildly obsessed with clothes and fashion in general, and wearing something I have wanted for a long time honestly does make me happy, but the best things in life, which are usually free, are what make the days special to me. So, I thought it might be interesting to list a few things that make me smile and happy inside when times are tough. What are some of the things that inspire you to keep going? The love that I get from my pets, it’s priceless and they are part of the family. On a Sunday when my mum cooks a roast dinner, the smell and warmth radiates through the house. Simply holding hands with my wonderful boyfriend. Appreciating nature in the summer time while listening to the animal sounds. A smile or a nice gesture from a stranger. It restores my faith in humanity. Seeing years of hard work finally paying off. Getting really involved in a great book. That warming feeling in my stomach when I help someone out. Snuggling up and watching a romance movie. The way my boyfriend carries our camera and takes my photos without question. Listening to beautiful songs and expressing myself through singing. The butterflies in my tummy when my boyfriend and I first got together. Being near fresh water,…
