Get Your Cat On – Sexy Black Cat Outfit

My family and I don’t celebrate Halloween due to the fact of what it represents, however I love the way the Americans celebrate the holiday as they don’t often do it with spooky and scary decorations. Even though I’m not going to a Halloween party or hosting one myself, I thought it would be fun to create a look that I would love to wear. As I adore cats, I’ve always wanted to be cat woman, so I’ve put together a sexy cat inspired look. I really love how this turned out, especially as it’s not scary, it’s just a regular outfit with a cat mask. I think it’s suitable for any themed costume party, not just Halloween. What do you think of it? And what are you planning on going to any parties dressed as? Since I love this outfit so much, I might actually go out and buy some cat ears if I can find some! To match my Citizens of Humanity jeans and my Topshop black heels!

The Burgundy Maxi Skirt And Leather Jacket

(Skirt – Exact, Jacket – Similar, T-Shirt – Exact, Bag – Exact, Boots – Exact) When it was a little warmer about two weeks ago, I put this outfit together on a whim and I kind of liked the outcome. I have always been interested in trying the maxi skirt with a jacket and boots, but I wasn’t completely sure on it. As it turns out, I think the combination is great. I’m wearing a Burgundy Maxi Skirt by Love, a Forever 21 T-Shirt, a Topshop Faux Leather Jacket, KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots and my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore. Since the clocks went back the other day, everything is so dark which really upsets me. It’s going to become annoying for outfit photos when I need to do them a little later in the afternoon! I’m also sorry that I have been lacking in the outfit post department lately, however this week I will be posting more! What do you think of my outfit? Do you like the combination?

My Favourite Festive Party Dresses

One thing I love about the festive season is the fact that you can wear sparkly dresses and it’s appropriate! I collaborated with MissesDressy and chose some of my favourite dresses which would be perfect for a party or an evening out! MissesDressy actually has one of the biggest selections of dresses that I have ever seen, they have everything, and the best thing about these 12 dresses I chose is that they can also be worn as prom dresses, cocktail dresses, evening gowns and pretty much everything else. I love dresses myself, even though I don’t get to wear them that often. My favourite would be my black high low dress that I wore in the summer, but I absolutely adore glittery ones like the three in the picture above. I think either of those would be amazing to wear and make you stand out! Dresses four, five and six are more extravagant and would be suitable for a more glamorous party. Number five with the puffy pink skirt is beautiful! Seven, eight and nine are great for a general night out, especially eight, I think it’s so suitable for a Christmas party! And with ten, eleven and twelve, they are more classy dresses so I didn’t leave the classic look out. These three would look great at a dinner or posh party. Which dress is your favourite? I love them all, but if I had to choose, I would pick one, two or eleven!

Mustard, Butterscotch And Tan

(Jeans – Exact, T-Shirt – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Scarf – Similar, Bag – Exact, Boots – Similar) This is the outfit I wore last weekend on Saturday. Even though I adore colour, mustard coloured jeans were still something on my to try list. I was wondering what I could pair with them and tan seemed like the only good option. I did want to wear heels, however since it was really cold it wasn’t an option, so I had to settle for these boots. I would have preferred a different footwear, but making do with these was the only choice I had. Overall though I think it looks ok. Im wearing Citizens of Humanity Velour jeans, a Zara Faux Leather Tan jacket, Forever 21 t-shirt, my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Sycamore and my Leopard scarf and Tan boots are from Topshop. As it’s press day season, I will be heading to London again next week for some more previews of collections. I can’t wait to share them all with you! Today is also the very last day to enter my Mimi Noor Spirit Hood giveaway. They kindly extended it another day due to popular demand and it ends tonight, just before midnight. If you haven’t yet entered, you can do so by clicking here. So, what do you think of the outfit?

If I Were A…

I was actually inspired by this post that I saw on another blog a little while ago, to make my own version. It’s called ‘If I Were A…’ and it’s basically describing if you were an animal or object etc, what would you be. My answers are based on my personality and what I like, so I think they are pretty true to myself. For example, I chose a cheese-less pizza because I feel like I’m a regular person, just like a classic pizza, yet my personality is very different to most, that’s why it’s cheese-less. I also chose denim as a fabric because it’s tough and durable, in which I am very strong minded and a tough cookie, yet denim is also reliable, easy to wear and can be sometimes delicate. I’m not saying I’m wearable, ha ha, I mean easy to get along with, I would hope 🙂 I’m genuinely a very straight forward and honest person. Hopefully you can figure the rest out! I would love to know yours as well! If you want to leave some of your own answers in the comment section, I would definitely enjoy reading them! 🙂 If I were a gemstone, I’d be a pink sapphire. If I were a scent, I’d be… I wouldn’t, I am intolerant to strong smells. If I were a pair of shoes, I’d be black suede ankle booties. If I were the weather, I’d be a warm summers day. If I were a facial expression, I’d be a cute and sincere smile. If I were a car, I’d be a go-kart or golf kart. If…

Day Time And Party Looks For Autumn

I have collaborated with Debenhams to create two looks that I think are perfect for Autumn! Debenhams have just launched new lines of Autumn coats and dresses, so doing this post was a lot of fun! The first outfit I created (above) is definitely suitable for day time and it also has a classy feel to it with the navy faux fur collar coat and the Miss KG Arctic booties. I think the look is kept fun with the wine coloured skinny jeans, cute gemstone rings and the colour block bag. This is definitely something I would wear myself and it’s an outfit that I think is pretty much an essential for the cold Autumn day time! It reminds me a lot of this outfit I wore previously. The next look below is for the night time, particularly if you have a party to go to! I know it’s not a very warm outfit, but if you are indoors I think it will be fine! I kept it quite festive with the beautiful gothic lace dress in red, but I also added some fun elements with the hints of leopard in the Dune heels and clutch. I really love this outfit too and would definitely wear it out for an evening. I also kept it colour coordinated with the bracelets by choosing red, gold and black with elements of leopard print in those too. All of these items are available on the Debenhams website, but which outfit do you like the most? Comment and let me know!

Camo, Coated Black And Studs

(Jeans – Exact, Jacket – Exact, Shirt – Exact, Rings – Exact, Socks – Exact, Shoes – Exact) This is the second outfit post for my styling challenge with Sarenza. If you remember back in the Summer they gifted me these beautiful Jeffrey Campbell Foxy shoes with spiked heels and I had to style them twice. For the first outfit, I chose to double up on studs (which you can see here) and for this second outfit, I decided to go camo to show how they work with socks for the Autumn. I’m wearing Citizens of Humanity Leatherette jeans, Purple socks, Spiked rings, a Military shirt and Camo jacket all from Topshop and my Jeffrey Campbell Foxy spiked heels. What do you think of the outfit? I wanted a pop of colour with the socks, but I wasn’t completely sure they went with the outfit, but with the overall look I think it looks a little quirky and different so I have grown to like it. Did you all have a nice weekend?

Red Velvet For Autumn

(Jeans – Exact, T-Shirt – Exact, Jacket – Similar, Collar – Similar, Boots – Exact) I wore this outfit last weekend on Sunday when I went out for a little bit with my boyfriend. I’m loving the Autumn colours right now, however I am still waiting for it to peak so the trees will be covered in orange and red. At the moment they are still half green. My head looks like it’s hunched up in some of these photos, it’s not though, it was because my hair with covering my collar a lot and since it’s the same colour as the jacket, it blended in. I’m wearing J Brand Velvet Jeans, my Topshop Faux Leather Biker Jacket, a Pieces Faux Fur Collar, a Forever 21 T-Shirt and my KG by Kurt Geiger Winona Boots. This was my first time actually wearing a pair of velvet jeans as well. I love the colour of them so much, it’s gorgeous! Also, don’t forget to enter my Spirit Hood giveaway that I’m running with Mimi Noor. It ends in 6 days time so you still have a little while left to enter. Anyway what do you think of the outfit?
