(Jeans – Exact, Coat – Exact, Boots – Similar, Mittens – Similar, Hat – Similar, Scarf – Similar) I’m probably going to be posting quite a few snow outfits as it’s been snowing here for 3 days now. I’m really happy to finally have some new scenery for my photos and the chance to dress up kind of cute! I think the snow always gives an excuse to wear adorable hats and things, like this koala one that my boyfriend bought me over a year ago. I’m wearing my old Paige Grey Jeans, an old Topshop Grey Coat, Cable Knit Scarf and Faux Fur Paw Mittens, a Zara Cable Knit Jumper, my DUO Knee High Boots and my River Island Koala Hat. Are you all enjoying the snow too? The only thing I don’t like so much is the freezing cold temperatures ha ha. It’s not gone above 0 for a while! Anyway, what do you think of the outfit?
When I woke up yesterday morning and saw that everywhere was coated in thick snow, I was beyond excited! My city rarely see’s snow for some reason, so I am hoping it lasts for quite some time! Being that photography is another hobby of mine and something that I enjoy a lot, I took this opportunity to take some photos in the snow and I really like how they turned out. As you know I live in the countryside so I’m lucky enough to have the snow untouched with lots of pretty scenery! What do you think of the photos?
I thought it would be fun to do another questions and answers post so you could get to know me a little bit more than the amount you currently know. I have some older Q&A posts from over the years, but this one includes some really random questions. If you have anything else you want to know, just leave me a comment and I will answer! 1. Were you named after anyone? No, I wasn’t. My parents decided on my name the moment I was born. Apparently I looked like a Lorna lol. Although my middle name is named after my grandmother who unfortunately I didn’t get to meet. 2. When was the last time you cried? This was a couple of weekends ago watching The Vow actually. Gosh that was so sad! 3. Do you like your handwriting? Yeah I don’t mind it, it’s quite neat and rounded. I used to try and perfect it at school. That was a long time ago though and now I mainly type rather than write. 4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? I actually do, but not in a mean way, it’s always in a joking way. I tend to prefer to have fun and banter rather than be serious all the time, it’s much more enjoyable 🙂 5. Would you like to bungee jump? I would, but not by my feet. I would rather do one where the rope is around your waist so you are in a sitting position. However, I know it would make me ill. I’m very sensitive and get vertigo from the slightest things now I’m older.…
(Jeans – Exact, Jumper – Similar, Bag – Exact, Heels – Similar, Watch – Exact, Bracelets – Similar) I wore this outfit on Sunday, but as it turned out it was much colder than I expected and I couldn’t wear it for long without absolutely freezing! I paired together the faux leather jeans with a simple cream jumper and added a brown satchel to keep things really neutral. I love the combination of cream, black and brown! I’m wearing James Jeans Faux Leather Jeans, a Zara Jumper, Topshop Black Heels, a Cambridge Satchel in Vintage Brown, a Daniel Wellington Watch and Jewellery from ASOS and Topshop. To spice it up a little bit and add more fun to the outfit, I added lots of accessories in the form of loads of bracelets and rings, a watch and a necklace. Like my post yesterday, I really love adding jewellery to my looks so that they aren’t too simple and boring. I really like how this one turned out actually. What do you think of my outfit?
Some of you may already have noticed that I have quite an obsession with jewellery. I find that wearing rings, bracelets and necklaces can really brighten up your look (like this one) and add so much depth to an otherwise simple and plain look. I always find that if you are wearing just a t-shirt or jumper with jeans (which is sort of my everyday uniform) then adding some flare with jewellery and accessories really helps make the look stand out. I usually pick statement pieces which are chunky and heavy and I love to pile up bracelets and bangles with my big watches for that ‘arm swag’ look. I adore the bold look that it gives off and how it really changes up an outfit. At the same time, I do love cute intricate and dainty jewellery with diamonds, much like the pieces you can find on Tiffany. I generally like to mix and match both kinds, as I have 2 dainty silver and white gold rings with diamonds and pink sapphires in that I wear permanently (as I’m sure you have noticed) and they always seem to go well with the bigger and bolder statement items. Do you love jewellery too?
The after Christmas and January sales are one of my favourite times of year for shopping! Over the years I have become quite good at getting the deals I want for a good price by thinking smart and budgeting well. I was given a challenge by VoucherCodes.co.uk to navigate the high street sales with £80 and to document my experience, while sharing my sale shopping tips and tricks with you! I think sale shopping is a really good way to stock up on trends for the coming season. Usually the items that hit the sales are from the previous season, so this year there were a lot of Spring/Summer pieces at discounted prices, so I got a few of them for Spring next year, as pastels are always on trend during the warmer months.
(Jeans – Exact, Coat – Exact, Jumper – Exact, Scarf – Similar, Bag – Exact, Boots – Exact) I do want to apologise first of all for the really bad quality of these photos, but again it’s been pouring with rain and freezing cold which really does hinder picture taking. I wore this outfit yesterday while out and about with my boyfriend. Unfortunately my boots got soaking wet and made my socks wet as well, I thought they were going to be ruined, but they have dried out to be as good as new. Thank goodness! I was wearing my AG Jeans, a Topshop Grey Pea Coat and Aubergine Scarf, a Zara Cream Jumper, my ASOS Shearling and Black bag and my Sam Edelman Petty Booties in Putty. It wasn’t really raining before I left the house, which is why I wore my suede boots, but I should have known not to during the winter months as it’s always raining. I also got this coat about 2 years ago, so it’s not in store anymore, but it’s one of their most classic coats that always shows up on eBay and loads of people own. Despite the blurriness, what do you think of the outfit?
Valentines Day is one of my favourite occasions of the year. To some it might be a day which just makes people spend more money, but I love the idea that you get to celebrate your love and feel like a giddy school girl all over again. Last year, I wore this all pink outfit below, as I went out for a meal with my boyfriend, but this year I’m planning on wearing red! I’m thinking I might go down the route of my burgundy skinny jeans, with a black top, a blazer and some heels. As long as I have red in my look, I think I will be all set! I’m going to accessorize with red too by having a red bag and bracelet. I’m also going to wear my new raindrop shaped french crystal necklace that my boyfriend got me for Christmas. I haven’t worn it yet as I am waiting for the perfect occasion! I collaborated with Marks and Spencer on this post as they always have amazing gifts! I put together the collage above and I think it represents Valentines Day perfectly and gives some great gift ideas that are cute and girly, as well as yummy! One thing my boyfriend always buys me is a single red rose that I can keep forever as it’s not real. I’m quite sensitive to real flowers as I suffer from hay fever, so I just love the fact I can keep the roses and not have any issues! I also think that cute little teddies, definitely chocolates, little romantic books and cards make great gift ideas for…
