An Autumn Burgundy Duster Look

A Burgundy Duster Coat With Snake Print Boots

We shot these photos in the churchyard in Bristol in the Redcliffe area. We hadn’t known that there was a church there until we spotted it out the view from the hotel window, and it was absolutely beautiful, especially during the Autumn time as these were shot around 5 weeks ago. Doesn’t the scenery look stunning? I thought the old fashioned lamp post would make a great backdrop. It was absolutely freezing though! I don’t think I wore the most sensible outfit for these photos! I was frozen by the time we went back to the hotel, and I couldn’t take anymore of the bitterness without getting angry! Does anyone else get really angry when they are frozen cold, lol?

For my outfit, I was wearing my Oasis Burgundy Duster Coat (you saw it before here) which I styled with my new L’Academie Katlyn Top that I was gifted from Revolve. I love the tobacco, bronze, metallic shade it has to it and the ruched neckline. I tucked it inside my Topshop Cream Corduroy Skirt, which I put my Louis Vuitton LV Monogram Belt around, to make it pop and finish it off. For my accessories, I opted to wear my Topshop Snake Print Boots and that matched up nicely with my ASOS Snake Print Bag, to complete the accessories. I paired these two snake print pieces together in this outfit here before, and I quite like how it turned out, so I thought I would wear it again with this look.

I think this outfit here is the perfect Autumn style as it’s mixing Autumnal shades like burgundy, browns and creams, which really pop against orange leaves. As outfits go, I quite like how I put this one together, but we were shooting in 4 degrees Celcius, so I think next time trousers or jeans are in order! At the very least, a pair of leggings! What’s your opinion of this outfit? Do you like it? As always, you can shop the pieces in the scroller just below. Lorna xx.

I love the autumn colours in this outfit! that’s such a great coat! πŸ™‚ I am impressed you could take photos in such cold weather, haha! When we were in Europe earlier in spring it was 10 degrees and that was much too cold for me, and I had all the layers on, haha! It’s like winter in Australia (it rarely gets to single digits in Brisbane, even in winter)

Hope that you’re having a great week πŸ™‚ I spent the day with my mum yesterday and we are taking the kids out to another Christmas event tonight πŸ™‚
