Attending The Last Christmas Premiere In London

On the 11th November 2019, one of my dreams came true. I was invited to a movie premiere in London and it was one of the best experiences of my life! The movie was ‘Last Christmas‘, which is the film of the year for Christmas right now, and it features Emma Thompson (I’ve always been a huge fan of her), Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding and many more! I got to walk the red carpet (it was actually blue for Christmas) and actually watch the movie. Kylie Minogue was on the carpet with us, and we met her, which was incredible! We got to listen to Emma Thompson and Paul Feig (the director) introduce the movie on stage before it started, and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! I shared it all in a highlight on my Instagram stories (click here for that) and I will never forget it! It was always a goal of mine to go to a movie premiere as I love the film industry so much!

The next day, I was also invited to the Christmas lights switch on in Covent Garden, as a last minute thing! I was due to go home, but I hung around instead and came back really late at night. The cast were there on stage, along with Ronan Keating, and we got to do a singalong to the song ‘Last Christmas’ as well, which was so much fun! To anyone who has seen the movie already, what did you think? And if you haven’t, it’s a cute, fun, feel good movie that I recommend!

For my outfit for the premiere, I wore a Reiss Gold Blazer, my PAIGE Margot Skinny Jeans, my Reiss Black Ankle Boots, and a simple Gold Cami Top, finished off with my Valentino Lock Bag in Ivory. I would have worn a dress, but it was freezing and I needed to be warm. Anyway, I’ve included a lot of photos from the two days, and of course I would love to hear your comments on it! Thank you all of you for making these kind of dreams come true. Lorna xx.

We stayed in The Holiday Inn Express in Southwark (gifted) and it was in a prime location for all of the places we needed to be! I actually got quite a comfortable nights sleep too in that bed, as usually I don’t like hotel beds too much! The breakfast was ideal too!

Below are some of the photos from the Covent Garden Light Switch On!

Oh how fun! I really want to go see this movie but don’t think there will be an opportunity, with the kids, haha! Maybe it will be on netflix by next Christmas! So cool you got to meet Kylie and I really like your blazer outfit! Very stylish, as is your Christmas light outfit 🙂

Hope your week is off to a great start! 🙂
