A Country Girl Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I hadn’t given any of you a preview of my Halloween costume this year (see my previous costumes here), and I was really excited because I absolutely adore country and Western, so doing a cowgirl seemed extremely fitting! I was even more excited that Adam got involved this year and joined me as a cowboy, which you can see below! The best part about this costume was that I put it together out of pieces I already had in my closet!

I was wearing my Vintage Levi’s 501 Cut Off Denim Shorts, paired with my Gucci GG Belt (fashionable cowgirl, ha ha) and worn with my Topshop Snake Print Boots. For the shirt, I got this Superdry Bailey Shirt in Yellow, and finished it off with my Brixton Hat and some freckles! Adam’s required a little more props as he got a holster and a toy gun, as well as a bandana!

We shot these photos in the little village nearby as there’s a perfect gate and scenery for this type of outfit. A few passers by came over to see what was going on and asked what it was for, even said we needed a horse, ha ha. I really enjoyed this shoot though, and I get excited every year for Halloween costume time! I would happily wear this outfit on a regular day though if the shorts were a little longer! That’s how much I love the Western vibe! What do you think? What’s your costume? Lorna xx.

Wow! I was looking for C&W music and found your picture set. I’m so glad I did too, you’ve certainly set my weekend off to a great start. Is it the outfits you like or the music too?

    Thanks

Me too, I love hearing to it played live. All the old standards, plus newer stuff like Zac Brown, love it that.
