Lily Arkwright – A Beautiful Moissanite Ring

I am really excited to be sharing this blog post with you all. I’ve collaborated with British luxury online jewellery retailer, Lily Arkwright, who specialise in engagement rings and lab grown diamonds, to showcase one of their stunning diamond engagement rings. As you know, I only collaborate with brands that I feel represent myself and my blog perfectly, which is why I don’t have many ads as I like everything to be authentic, and this I believe is a perfect match.

Even though I am already engaged, I’m happy to show you how beautiful their rings are as I absolutely adore jewellery. I personally chose this Lily Arkwright Macy Oval Charles & Colvard Moissanite Petite Pavé 18k White Gold Shoulder Set Ring, which is set with a 0.90ct lab grown moissanite centre stone, and it’s incredible! The 18k white gold band itself is set with diamonds, so it truly is a magnificent ring to look at, especially in the sunshine, it just glistens and shines in that perfect, magical way. I couldn’t stop staring at it and looking at how feminine and elegant my hand looked with it on. When I opened the ribbon and took the lid off of the box, it just took my breath away. It’s one of those rings that looks stunning with any nail colour, any skin tone, and pretty much any outfit, as I’ve showed you in these photos a more classy ensemble, and a more evening appropriate, bold look. It works perfectly with both of them.

This beauty is a solitaire ring that features a Charles & Colvard, Forever One oval cut moissanite stone, directly in the centre, which is exquisitely showcased by a delicate diamond micro petite pave mount. The 4 prong mount has been designed to secure and beautifully showcase even the largest of centre stones. You can choose a diamond carat weight equivalent that you want as well, this one that I have in the 0.90ct weight costs £1160, but you can go smaller at a 0.50ct or much larger, all the way up to 4.20ct, which costs a reasonable £2881, which I think is incredible compared to that of an equivalent sized diamond which would cost an awful more on the highstreet. The moissanite I have here is D-F in colour, while the shoulder set diamonds are G/H Colour and S/I Clarity.

I didn’t have much information about moissanite and lab grown diamonds before being introduced to Lily Arkwright, but I’ve done a lot of research and it’s incredible! A lab grown diamond is an authentic diamond, it’s not fake, it’s the real deal, not even gemologists can tell the difference, but instead of waiting for hundreds of years for the Earth to create diamonds itself, they can do it in a lab in the correct environment in a few weeks! Since they’re a real diamond, the 4 C’s of cut, clarity, carat and colour still apply, and they’re certified by the same governing bodies. Equally all their Moissanite precious gemstones all have a Charles and Colvard certificate of authenticity and a limited lifetime warranty. Each stone is carefully inspected and graded by a fully qualified gemologist before passing stringent quality checks.

Lily Arkwright have so many beautiful rings though, in all different cuts like Round, Princess, Cushion, Emerald, Asscher, Oval and Radiant and you can view the full Moissanite Collection here. If you want to go down a more personal route too, Lily Arkwright even offer a bespoke service, so you can design your own engagement ring with them for your loved one, which I think is amazing.

There are lots of benefits when shopping with Lily Arkwright as you can typically save 90% off the price of a conventional high street equivalent diamond engagement ring, which means you have more money for savings or a house deposit etc. but one of the most important things is that their moissanite and lab diamonds are ethically grown in the United States. There can be a lot of issues around diamond mining, so lab grown causes no harm. A few other things to note are the free UK & EU delivery, free UK returns, as well as global Shipping. They have a 12 month warranty on all products and a 30 day returns policy. They have British craftsmanship, a UK hallmark, and the worlds best Lab diamonds, fully certified to international standards with either IGI or GCAL certification. And one final thing to point out is that they have 0% interest available via their global partners Paypal and Klarna!

If you love this ring that I’m wearing, you can buy this exact one and I definitely recommend it. I’m often quite picky when it comes to jewellery, but I had no complaints at all with this beautiful piece. Plus, you all know how I am extremely honest and true in everything I write and share with you here, so you can know that I mean it when I say I didn’t want to take it off. I’m really happy with how the photos turned out and how I managed to capture the beauty in this stunning ring for you all. What do you think of it? Lorna xx.

This is a beautiful ring wow. And grown in a lab? Who knew? First meat, now diamonds. And I bet it is better for the environment and cruelty free. How wonderful to work with them.

I had heard of man-made diamonds, of course, but didn’t realize that they were held to the same standards as the ones that are formed naturally (and you’d think I’d have heard more of them with being here in the US). When they create these diamonds, are they created in the “diamond shapes” or do they still have to cut and polish them? This ring is just gorgeous – you’re so right that it gives the hand a very feminine look. And I love that rust-colored (pumpkin…orange?) blouse and the purple lace top – such great autumn colors!

Hi Ruth! I checked for you, and you’re right, they are grown as normal diamonds, rough gemstones, just as they would grow in the Earth, and then they’re polished and cut from that, so it’s the exact same process as it would be naturally. Glad you love the blouse too, and the lace top! Thank you!

It’s certainly a very beautiful ring! I’ve heard about simulated diamonds before and I’ve seen some truly remarkable jewelry with them although I don’t personally own any. Thanks for sharing this!

It is great that you got to collab with Lily Arkwright. I’ve heard a lot about lab grown diamonds. With how expensive diamonds can be, I can imagine the benefits of going for this route instead. Sometimes, it isn’t about the money. Thanks for sharing!
