The Teddy Bomber Jacket With A Dress

Allsaints Suede Bomber Jacket Over A Floral Dress Outfit

First of all, I hope you’re having a lovely week. I’m on a very important photoshoot today, which I will be sharing with you soon, but it’s probably one of my most exciting ones to date! I’m doing ok, I have been a little unwell lately, and I have also been doing quite a few different things, but I’m good. Getting to this post though, can you believe that these photos were actually shot in Bath? I know we have these rules about only being allowed to have Bath Stone (which is that yellow shade you always see in my pictures), but we found this old red brick area down by the river a couple of weekends ago and it made the ideal backdrop for this outfit. I absolutely love how this turned out!

So, I was wearing my Allsaints Keiko Bomber Jacket in Black which I layered over my The East Order Black Floral Dress, finished off with my Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers. I absolutely adore this jacket and I’m so glad that I picked it up in the sale a few weeks ago because it’s amazing! I sized up to a UK 12 in this women’s bomber jacket as it runs small and I wanted more of a looser fit, and it does a really good job of filling my need for the ever amazing Saint Laurent Teddy Jacket that I was obsessed with for ages, but with the £1400 price tag, couldn’t afford, so this is the next best thing!

Now getting to the dress, I hadn’t heard of The East Order before until I saw it on Urban Outfitters. I had been looking for a chic black dress with subtle floral, and this was the perfect one. I took a size medium in it and it fits so nicely, is really comfortable, and extremely flattering. One thing I have noticed with it as well is that it’s so easy to dress casually or more feminine, it’s extremely versatile. I’ve worn it three times already, once with Chloe Boots (which you will see soon), this look here, and also to a friends wedding where I styled it with blue sandals.

I’m planning on writing a blog update very soon, hopefully on Sunday to let you know what’s been going on in my life and why my blog schedule has been a little erratic etc. so stay tuned for that. I know this outfit is a little different to what I would usually wear as well, since it has no colour in it an is mostly black and white, with more grungy undertones I suppose you could say. It’s a look I’m very comfortable in though so I would love to hear your opinions on it! Lorna xx.

P.S. – I just picked up some new Saint Laurent sunglasses in white too, which I can’t wait to share with you! They’re so cool, and a little more fun than my black pair!

These are beautiful photos Lorna and your outfit is of course, a favorite! I love skirts paired with sneakers as it is just so chic and you did a splendid job showcasing that in your photos. I am sorry to hear you aren’t feeling too well. I hope all is ok? Looking forward to your new Saint Laurent sunnies!

Wow! I adore these images Lorna. I haven’t seen anything quite like this on the blog before. There’s an edgy, urban quality to this look, and the backdrop, and I simply love it. You look fierce, as Tyra Banks would say!

I’m sorry to hear you weren’t feeling well though. I really hope you’re feeling better now. Have a fab weekend.

    Lots of love Saba xx
