The Dog Print Shirt And Velvet Chanel

Yumi Dalmatian Print Shirt With A Chanel Velvet Bag

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Adam and I spent it in Bristol doing a photoshoot session all weekend, and of course watching Eurovision on the TV! Glad to see we didn’t disappoint and came last, as always, ha ha. It was a very busy and hectic weekend for me, I was extremely tired and ended up with a migraine, but it was productive so we did get a lot done, including these photos that we shot on Friday! I had been planning this outfit for quite some time actually, and since it wasn’t raining, or too cold, it was the perfect time to wear it!

I was wearing my Yumi Dalmatian Dog Print Shirt that I picked up at Clarks Village shopping outlet last month. Do you remember seeing it in my purchases in my trip to Clarks Village blog post that I did? I couldn’t wait to style it as it was the first piece that I picked up during the day there. As you can see from the photos, it has the cutest doggy print all over it, but as it’s black and white it’s also chic at the same time, which is why I decided to dress it up instead of down. I opted to pair this Yumi shirt with my L’AGENCE Margot skinny jeans in Graphite, tied together with my ASOS Western Belt. Then for the accessories, I added some height with my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 in Black, and then breaking the black and white theme, I chose my Chanel Small Boy Bag in Bordeaux Velvet.

One thing I love about using bright bags or accessories against colourless outfits is the pop of brightness that they bring to the whole ensemble. This black and white combination would be so different if I had chosen a black or white bag, but the burgundy really stands out and I think it adds to the playfulness of the shirt, especially as it’s a luxe fabric like velvet.

Funnily enough, this is the third time I have worn this shirt already. The first time was at IKEA when I went there last week to pick a few things up, and I wore it entirely casually, so it’s incredibly versatile! Even though I picked it up at the Clarks Village outlet, they do still have two sizes available online to purchase (click here) and that’s a UK 10 and 12. I took a 10 in this and it fits nicely, so I would say it’s true to size for Yumi. Anyway, what do you think of these photos and the outfit? I’m using a different background again since these were shot in Bristol! Comment and let me know your opinions! Lorna xx.

I absolutely love the shirt! It’s just so cute. 🙂 I’m guessing that you had these particular jeans very much in mind when you bought the shirt? 🙂 Great belt too – which for me really adds a lot to the look and unites the jeans and shirt even more.

I think I’ve fallen in love with that Bordeaux velvet Chanel bag! Is there a reason you featured a Gucci bag instead of Chanel in the links that follow your photos? Is it no longer available, maybe?

Hi Apple! Chanel was never available to purchase online, so it was only this year they brought out an online shop to view products and enquire about, but you still can’t purchase bags online. I linked Gucci because it was the closest option for online shopping. And yes, the Chanel is sold out, I got it a few years ago and it was seasonal, so it sold out pretty fast, I got the last one in London when I picked mine up!
