Currently Craving Wish List: April 2019

I feel like I’m forever saying this, but where did this month go? It’s almost the end and we’re at my Currently Craving Wish List monthly feature again! There’s so many pieces that I have been coveting lately and I have compiled them all together into the look book feature again for you. As always, you know how to shop it, just scroll left or right to see the items and you click them to purchase.

First up though, before we get to the look book, I love this gorgeous gold necklace from Aurate New York. It’s a circle in rose gold and I love how these style necklaces resemble eternity as the ring, much like a wedding ring, is never ending. It’s solid gold and very dainty, and since I’m into small necklaces now, it’s elegant and perfect! What do you think of it? You can buy the exact piece here.

Now getting to the look book, there’s 24 pieces here for you to choose from and I’ve made sure that they’re all Spring/Summer appropriate so you can’t go wrong. Again, like last time, I’ve included some options from Mango as I’m really loving their collection this season. So first up you will find a subtle pinstripe linen blazer (which I need to buy) and a sleeveless tailored jacket in the same stone colour. There’s a beautiful scarf, a floral halter top (again, I need this) and a pair of L’AGENCE Margot jeans in a light blue which I have been craving.

There’s a few great necklaces in there too, a wicker shell bag, which is so on trend, another pair of Margot in Biscuit, which I own and adore (seriously recommend them if you want an off white), and a brand new pair of Hudson short denim overalls. There’s a few more pairs of coloured denim for those of you who want a bit more vibrancy, some dresses, a neutral playsuit, some linen shorts and tops, and a straw hat with shells on it too!

Some of these pieces I’ve included here are some that I’ve completely fallen for and have made me almost reconsider Spring to be my favourite season as the items are right up my alley! I can’t wait for it to get just that little bit more warmer so I can wear everything that I’ve purchased so far. I sort of stopped buying too much denim, but after downsizing my collection and falling in love with the Margot, I haven’t been able to stick to that, ha ha! Happy shopping! Lorna xx.

I am a big fan of thin or small necklaces for women and men. They tend to go with a lot, so they are very versatile!

    Hi Lorna
    Happy Sunday, how are you?
This post caught my eye, as I have been buying everything from Mango lately! I bought this halter as I just kept looking at it. I have a circle necklace from AURate, with working with them! Great minds huh? I just received a linen blazer too, in taupe, but have to get it altered in the hips, as I have narrow hips. Love your ideas! Its finally getting warm enough here to start wearing some of these things.

Hi Jess! I’m good thank you, I hope you are too!
So glad you loved the post! And that’s exciting you got that halter top! I can’t wait to see how it looks on you, I’m seriously considering getting it! And that’s also cool you have the circle necklace from them too! It would appear we’re very similar in our tastes, ha ha. I am in serious need of the linen blazer! xx.

I really enjoy all the diverse items you have picked out. I enjoy that some of the items are more monotone so you can pair them with anything and some of those items will be good for transitioning into fall. (Not that I am wishing for fall) I love those other items that are super bright and colorful. Those would be a great staple for any persons’ spring closet. LOVE the wicker bag and hat, I feel like those will look cute whether you live near a beach or not. My favorite item is number 12. Those sandals are so gorgeous and great with a dressy or more casual outfit.

Yes!! Those sandals are gorgeous aren’t they? I’m really into wicker pieces now too, especially bags and hats! So happy you love everything and looked through it all!

    Lorna,

The collection of spring items you compiled are sophisticated and very on point with the fashion trends of today. There are so many people at my college who are rocking these styles as the warm weather of spring is trying to break though. This gives me some great idea about how I can add to my own spring wardrobe!

    Best,

    Madi

    Hello Lorna,

My sister’s birthday is at the end of the month and she is looking for something new to wear. I think she would love that necklace. She’s not into flashy accessories so the simple design and the eternity idea you mentioned is a really creative way to think about the meaning when wearing it. Awesome find!

I love all of these pieces! Especially the jewel slide sandals. Slide sandals are very in this season and the jewels add a pretty touch which makes them more unique. The dainty gold necklaces are beautiful as well.

The Gold Necklace is elegant and simple. It completes the spring collection and as an uniqueness to the look. Because the gold necklace is simplistic, it could be paired up with casual to classy outfits

Some outstandingly pretty items in your selections this month. I think my favourite would be the jeans at #14 – they’re gorgeous. 🙂 I’m intrigued by the yellow jeans too… they would be a very daring look indeed. It’s a pretty colour but what might you style them with if you had them?

I also quite like the shell bag – though I imagine it wouldn’t be very practical as you’d be forever on guard against knocking the shells against things and chipping them?

That is true, I might be on guard, but I am so careful with my bags, I never knock them against anything, not even my durable ones, I’m super protective, so I can’t imagine I’d be smashing it about all over the place, ha ha! I’d be horrified if I saw someone doing that to any bag! Scares me, ha ha. In regards tot he yellow jeans, I think it would have to be neutral white I would imagine, or perhaps at a push, blue denim. I’d avoid black as it’s too much like a wasp or bee, but grey could also work 🙂

Actually I think yellow and black go beautifully together. 🙂 I think it only risks being like a wasp or bee if stripes are involved. 😀

Ha ha, I would probably prefer a dark indigo with yellow I think, for me!

Thanks for your comments =) I read & reply every one =)
