How did January almost come to an end? I feel like I’ve been saying it a lot but January has literally flown by and it’s shocking how quick it’s all going. It’s been one of those months where everything has been a bit of a blur and I’m still trying to figure things out and get organised. The last couple of weekends have been good though as I managed to get a lot of sorting out done, my schedule is organised, I’m up to date with everything so I’m heading into this week clearly and it’s a good feeling. It’s funny how organising things makes you have a clearer mind, isn’t it?
Anyway, getting to this post, my Currently Craving Wish List is here! For the first one of the year, I’ve chosen quite a few simple things and I love them all! Some are really great for Valentine’s Day like those beautiful red Topshop Boots, or the heart glitter earrings, and especially the Yankee Candle roses candle, but I also thought the Kate Spade Love Letters Bag was just adorable! How cute is that for a Valentine’s Day inspired moment? I fell in love with it!
Now getting to the more classic pieces, I love both the skinny jeans from MOTHER and AG Jeans, I own the distressed pair and they’re really good, but I’m yet to own the AG. I think they would look really cute with that Topshop cropped hoody (love that) or with the grey wrap coat as we know how much I love wrap coats! Now I have a Gucci GG Belt and I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear it more, but I’ve always been fond of the version with pearls. It’s also no secret how much I am into Golden Goose Sneakers at the moment either, and I really want that gold/silver pair. Then to finally finish it all off, a pretty eye palette from Charlotte Tilbury as I don’t often include make-up.
Now I have been thinking a lot about designer bags and how much they can cost, or how difficult they can be to get hold of. A lot of us tend to wear high street pieces for clothes and spend more money on our shoes and bags, I know I do, but I was thinking how annoying it can be when you really love some of the fashionable bags and pieces from the designer brands, but they cost too much to warrant buying as they’re not a staple. I was recently introduced to Nothing To Wear and I think the concept is amazing! You can rent authentic designer items for a small fee and then return them. How good would that be? It means you can wear all the cool and fashionable bags or shoes of the moment, without having to spend big money on them as you’d probably only wear them a couple of times anyway. There might even be just one event you want to go to and need a pair of designer shoes to wear, so just rent them for 4 days and you’re sorted. Have any of you ever rented anything before? Also, comment and let me know what you love in the wish list!
