Zara Crochet Jumper Dress With Burgundy Thigh High Boots
Something different! That’s what I see when I look at these photos. I’m pretty sure most of you are used to me wearing skinny jeans by now, and more tighter fitting clothes, but when I saw this Oversize Zara Crochet Jumper/Sweater, I knew I had to style it. I was so attracted to the blanket print as it reminds me of something my nan would have knitted years ago. It’s a size small which is the smallest it comes in, and it’s absolutely huge. Given my smaller frame, it works perfectly as a dress though as it’s long enough to come to just above mid thigh, making it perfect to pair with boots! Since there’s some deep red tones in the crochet, I thought these Aldo Thigh High Boots in Burgundy were the perfect option! I own these in black faux leather and in brown faux suede as well, but the burgundy was the most complementing tone to match with the crochet.
Anyway, how are you all? I hope you all had a lovely weekend and for those of you who are in Vegas right now, I truly hope you’re ok. My heart goes out to everyone involved. As much as I try to understand the thoughts of others and why we’re all so different, pure hatred like that is something that I can’t and never will understand. Love and happiness are the strongest emotions possible and I find that listening to your anger and hate only leads to damage and destroying yourself in the process. You can be so intent on what horrid thing you wanted to achieve, you become oblivious to the bigger picture (as this photo shows). I can only hope that our love and respect for one another grows stronger every time something hateful happens. Lots of love to you all! Lorna xx.
P.S. – If any of you do want this jumper, keep in mind that the crochet on the front is quite see through as it’s knitted loosely, so you will need to wear something underneath as I found out, ha ha.
