Double Denim Outfit With Embroidery
As a huge denim lover, wearing double denim is something that I can never get enough of, especially now that I’ve found one of the most amazing denim jackets I have ever seen. It just makes the perfect double denim outfit! The jacket I am talking about is this GRLFRND Daria Oversized Denim Jacket here, which features an embroidered tiger on the back and French quotes as well. I love the length of it, the slouchier fit, and the design. It’s not usually possible to get something oversized and to have it look flattering, as well as hug your figure, so that’s why this one is perfect! It’s now my favourite denim jacket, ever. I mean I’ve never tried a Gucci one, so I can’t compare, but I don’t need to with this one.
For my double denim outfit, I decided to wear my GRLFRND Denim Jacket with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans in Spritz. I love the combination of the light blue denim on top and the dark indigo on the bottom, so it’s complementary but different. I actually love this look so much that I wore it twice. The first time was above with a white t-shirt, and the second time was with a Jeans for Genes t-shirt, to support the charity (more on that below). For the accessories though, I chose my Gucci Princetown Loafers in Brown, my Mulberry Lily in Oak, my Gucci GG Belt, and my Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Watch in St. Mawes. There’s just something about blue denim and brown accessories that I just adore, and I think it sets this look off perfectly. It’s one of my favourites of this year so far!
For those of you who haven’t heard of Jeans for Genes before, it’s a charity that raises money for children affected by life-altering genetic disorders. It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder, which means 30,000 babies and children are diagnosed in the UK every year. The actual Jeans for Genes day takes place on Friday 22nd September, so you have plenty of time to get ready and sign up for a free fundraising pack! Wearing jeans and as much denim as you can to raise awareness is key! Click here to find out more about the charity. So, what do you think of my outfit? Do you like double denim?
