I am very excited to share with you my third collaboration with one of my favourite watch brands, Daniel Wellington. You may remember when I reviewed the original Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Watch in the Stainless Steel and White Dial combination, then I also did the Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Watch in St. Mawes with Rose Gold, for a different colour combination. Now, for the third watch, I’m reviewing the Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Watch in Bondi White!
I got this watch a couple of weeks ago before I was heading on holiday to St. Ives and because of the gorgeous White leather strap, which complements the Eggshell White dial, I thought it would be absolutely perfect for some beach shots because it reminded me of a nautical inspired timepiece. I don’t think the rose gold would have worked as well as the silver though as the silver helps to keep it cool toned and works so well with the ocean, so to me, it was a winning situation! I actually ended up wearing this watch for most of the holiday, as you can see in the different photos here as I love the uniqueness.
This Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Watch costs £129, just like the other two, so it’s definitely more affordable if you’re looking for a classic watch that will last a long time. Given the 32mm dial and a case thickness of 6mm, it’s one of those watches which is so easy to wear, you often forget you have it on. It’s the perfect size for showing off a fancy watch on your wrist and making a statement, but small and lightweight enough to be comfortable and unnoticeable when wearing it. It also has Japanese Quartz Movement, a 14mm leather strap width, and those are also interchangeable! So you can swap leather strap colours if you get bored of one! It’s also water resistant up to 3ATM and it’s rain resistant, which was ideal for wearing at the beach since I was in shallow water a lot.
Since this watch is white and silver, I also wore it with this beautiful Daniel Wellington Classic Cuff in Silver, which just adds so much more to my wrist. I’m always one for wearing jewellery with my watches, especially in the form of lots of bracelets so that I have more colour on my wrist, but I loved the simplicity of the watch and cuff here as it’s elegant and chic, perfect for an evening out or easy daytime wear if it’s hot. So with the combination of the modern minimalism of the watch and the elegance of the silver cuff, I can’t get enough of the duo together, plus the cuff is only £33, which is great to accompany the watch.
Out of the 3 Classic Petite Watches that I own, I still do think that the original Silver Mesh Watch that I had is my favourite as the mesh strap is so comfortable on your wrist. It conforms well and sits comfortably, but I know once the leather straps are broken in on my other 2 watches, they will be perfect too! You’ve probably noticed that I have been wearing my Daniel Wellington watches a lot in previous outfit posts, and you’re definitely going to be seeing that more too as I am in love with them! I never like to recommend you something that I am not overly fussed about, but I love these and when you see me wearing them numerous times outside of these reviews, that’s really because I can’t get enough of them, not because I’m sponsored or paid to do it, because I’m not. It’s from a place of pure love!
