I know some of you might be thinking ‘why is she writing about sunglasses when it’s Christmas?’ and I can tell you, that’s because I’m always thinking about what new pair will be perfect for the coming Summer! I’m sure most of you know (if you’ve followed me for years) that I have quite a collection of sunglasses, ranging from high street brands to designers like Prada and Ray-Ban, with Ray-Ban being the brand that I own the most of (somewhere around 10 pairs!) and I can still never get enough!
I never used to like sunglasses all that much when I was younger as I couldn’t find ones that suited my face, but then I came across the aviator style and it was perfect, so much so that I own quite a few different colours in the aviator frame. I’ve since branched out and tried rounder lenses as well as angled cat eye styles and I adore them. I never knew how much I would like all these different sunglasses frames, which is why I have ended up with so many. I’ve put some of my favourite pairs in this blog post from previous outfit posts, so you can see how I wore them, plus I’ve included a wish list for Summer which you can see just below! I hope you like it!
I was recently introduced to Perfect Glasses so I’m excited to collaborate with them on this blog post. Not only do they stock a great selection of branded frames, they also have their own regular glasses as well, with great prices. The company has been going since 2009, and is one of the largest providers of prescription glasses online and sunglasses in UK. They have over 1000 frames to choose from, both affordable as well as premium brands. You can even choose to have prescription sunglasses, so if you are a glasses wearer, you don’t have to miss out on having branded pairs to block the sun out!
Since I’m not a glasses wearer though, I have my sunglasses wish list above! I’ve chosen 4 pairs that I think would be absolutely perfect for next year as I’m branching out even more. The tortoise Fendi frames are gorgeous and remind me of my TRIWA pair that I have, since I adore the round frames. I then love the nude, thick, plastic frames of the Oxydo sunglasses as I think they’re more quirky and make a statement, so I could see them looking great with some floral dresses. Third is some sparkly Marc Jacobs sunglasses with a cat eye shape to them which I think are incredibly unique, plus they’re feminine too which is something that lacks in my sunglasses collection. Then finally, the Illuminati pair of designer sunglasses is a little more out there for me, not something I would usually choose, but I love the black and gold rounded frame with the metal bars across the top. I’m not sure if they would suit me, but I can only try, right?
– So, out of the sunglasses I own myself, which pair do you like the most? And have any of you got any frames on your wish list as well for next Summer? Check out PerfectGlasses.co.uk and let me know!
