Creating My Perfect Wish Lists With Shoptagr

wishlist-notepad

As it’s sale season coming up, that can only mean one thing – us fashion addicts are making lists of the items we love and hope to buy when the prices are chopped. It’s Black Friday at the end of this month and all of us know that means there will be price slashes all over the internet, so keeping track of those items you loved, by checking your list you keep in your email drafts or sorting through your browsers bookmarks, isn’t always the most productive way to do it.

I was recently introduced to a company called Shoptagr and I’m so excited by their concept, it’s amazing to collaborate with them! You all know that I only share things with you here when I love them myself and think they’re great, so you can rest assured this one is. Shoptagr is a completely free service that let’s you save and track your favourite fashion items, right down to size and color, in one place which will then alert you once the price drops (including coupon codes), or when it comes back in stock! How amazing is that? This is both for your web browser and in app form, so you don’t miss out.

I’ve been using Shoptagr myself for a little while and have my own list (which you can see here) as you can even share your wish lists with anyone you want to, via a direct link or on social media. That might make it easier for people who want to buy you a gift for the holidays, that’s for sure. I’ve included a step by step guide below on how to use it, showing you what I do and how I created my own list, but I honestly and truly think that this concept will be ideal for loads of you who have so many items you love, but want to wait for the sales. It takes all of the hassle out of it and makes it entirely simple, what’s not to love?

Shoptagr has partnered with over 700 different websites online, including ALLSAINTS, ASOS, Bloomingdales, Topshop, Shopbop, Nordstrom, Net-A- Porter, Revolve, Zara… and so many more. It’s a huge list which means you can literally shop everywhere and save your items. Thousands of girls already use it, including myself, so it’s definitely something to check out and start utilising. So, how do you use it?

  • First you need to sign up for an account (click here to sign up) which is easy – you only need a name, email address, and password. You’re then given a little tour and the option to download the extension button for your browser, which literally takes a second. This sits neatly beside your URL bar, then you’re all set and ready to go!

  • You can see the arrow above which is highlighting the Shoptagr button, so all you need to do when you’re on a shop that you love and spot a product you would like to save is click it. It’s really that simple!

  • When you click it, a little window pops up like this which allows you to select your size, the colour, to be notified when the price changes, and you can even add it to individual separate lists if you wish to create them. If not, it will go to your main wish list on your Shoptagr account. This feature also allows you to be notified when an item is back in stock if it’s currently sold out.

  • This is what my Shoptagr wish list looks like when I login. It’s a neat, Pinterest inspired board which is really clear and shows you the items and the prices. All you do then is click the product to be directed back to the retailer once the price has been dropped. Obviously Shoptagr will have let you know immediately as soon as there’s any price change, so it takes all the hard work out of it.

So that’s how you use it, and I’m really excited to share it with you as I know it’s going to save you all a lot of money and time in navigating the holiday sales which are approaching. It’s a weight lifted off your shoulders. What do you think of Shoptagr? Is that something you think is useful for you too? And would you like to continue knowing more about the cool apps and things that I find and am told about?

This sounds like such a great program to use for saving all your faves in one place! It can really become confusing when you try to bookmark all the pages and it’s also easier to forget, too. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great start to your week!

This is a fabulous idea Lorna! It sounds very easy to use and definitely worth signing up for. I usually add web pages to my Favourites and look at them regularly to see if an item I like has been marked down in the sales. However, the instant updates provided by Shoptagr sound much more effective! Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
