The Coast Darianna Embroidered Pink Dress
Thank you so much to all of you who wished me a lovely birthday! I celebrated at the Noahs Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol on Friday with Adam and my mum, as you know, and it was fantastic. I know many of you have seen on my Snapchat and Instagram (LornaRaindrops) the videos and photos, but it was great. There was a parrot named George who seemed to be really fond of me and loved to dance at the same time as me. We got to see giraffes, elephants, tigers and lions and bears, oh my, and so many more animals. It was fantastic. I actually can’t wait to go back there and actually feed some of the animals in the interaction area. We also made a flour-less chocolate cake for me to have and that turned out really good! I’m pleased that I didn’t have to miss out on a birthday cake just because I can’t have grains anymore.
Getting to this outfit though, I felt really drawn to this Coast Darianna Embroidered Lace Dress in Pink when I saw it online and thought it would make such a lovely change to the usual colours and styles that I go for. It’s a full dress, but it has an embroidered lace top half and a pleated draped skirt for the bottom, which I think is really unique. It almost looks white in these photos, but it’s a very pale, blush pink shade so it does have a hint of colour to it. To keep everything light and airy, I styled the Coast Darianna Dress with my Tamara Mellon Nude Heels for some height and a classic appeal, then finished it off with my Chloe Nano Drew in Off White to keep everything neutral. I just opted for a couple of pearl bracelets and that was it for this outfit. I didn’t want to go over the top, add in any colour, or make it too detailed. I think simplicity was the key here to make the dress stand out and look elegant. What do you think of it?
