The Coloured Beach Doors Of St. Ives

Tularosa Lace Dress With RAYE Sandals

Another set of photos from our trip to St. Ives. When we spotted these beach huts with multi coloured doors, we knew they would make a great backdrop for a photo shoot. As there’s a lot of colour going on though, it made perfect sense to have my outfit completely neutral so there were no contrasting tones. I decided to wear my Tularosa Vesta Dress in Chalk from REVOLVE Clothing. You may remember that I have an extremely similar top to this, also by Tularosa, so when I saw the dress version, I fell in love. Isn’t it beautiful? The embroidery, lace, and detailing is so intricate, it’s stunning to look at.

For my shoes and accessories, I wore my RAYE Ava Sandals in Whiskey and also my Michael Kors Selma Bag in Luggage (which is now on sale!) to go with the white. You did see these RAYE sandals in my St. Ives outfit that I just shared with you a couple of days ago, so they might look familiar. Doesn’t everything just blend well though? Tan and white has been a combination that I have loved for years, as I am sure you have previously noticed.

I was also wearing some various bracelets, my Olivia Burton watch and a new mood ring that I bought in a gift shop. I seem to have a little addiction to mood rings as they hold a special place in my heart from childhood. But speaking of sentimental value, this Tularosa dress is also holding a special place in my heart right now and will continue to for the rest of my life… But, all will be revealed soon! In the meantime, you can check out my Instagram for my St. Ives photos and please do leave a comment below to tell me what you think of my outfit and the location. I love to read your thoughts!

Wow Lorna this dress is stunning and you look like a total knockout! I love the corded lace and all the details on the dress, including the super-cute miniature pompoms! The backdrop is perfect, I love the brightly coloured doors, which give a playful and whimsical feel to the photo shoot. I adore your jewellery and accessories, and cream with tan accessories is a very classic and elegant combination.

p.s – I’m excited to hear why the dress has a special, added significance for you!

It really is such a beautiful dress – the colour is very delicate and the details are really pretty. 🙂

The location is perfect too. I like those doors – both for their vibrant and shiny colours and also for their orderly sequential nature. 😉
