ALLSAINTS Hitchen Suede Biker Jacket With Black Leather Pants

I know a lot of you have been requesting that I wear my Rag & Bone Skinny Leather Pants with a leather jacket, preferably in black… but while I’m still toying with that idea, I decided to wear a combination that I love. My black leather pants have been sitting there waiting for me to wear them again and I was waiting for the perfect weather to style them. It’s either been too wet or too hot. However, on Saturday, it was dry and a lot cooler so it was ideal. I got this ALLSAINT Hitchen Suede Biker Jacket at the beginning of May actually and hadn’t had the chance to wear it yet, so I thought it would pair perfectly with the leather pants. I think suede and leather is a great combination in two contrasting colours like this.

I kept the top neutral with a White ASOS Cami, but added in brown elements with my belt and my Saint Laurent Envelope Clutch. To elongate the legs and match the leather pants, I chose my Christian Louboutin Pigalle Pumps in Black, which I think complement them perfectly. I only opted for one piece of jewellery this time too and that’s in the form of this Rose Gold Spike Cuff from Happiness Boutique, which is super cute (use the code raindropsofsapphire at the checkout to get 10% off orders over €19 as well, until 22nd July). I then only chose just a pop of colour with my red lips, keeping everything else classic. I know you’re probably thinking that I’ve got an obsession with leather jackets, and I actually am aware that I do. I’ve sort of become addicted to them, but I love them! Do you like my outfit? Comment and let me know!

Fabulous look!I love it all. I think you’ve chosen the ideal jacket to wear with those pants. The brown suede and black leather combination is gorgeous. These two item clearly belong together. 🙂 I really like the minimalist option that you’ve taken with the jewellery too. I think it makes the one piece that you are wearing that much more noticeable and striking. I even noticed the bracelet thing in the first shot before reading the mention of it. 😀

(I’m glad that you opted for the suede rather than going for a black leather jacket. I suspect that a black leather jacket paired with those black leather pant would be bordering on overkill and not really to my tastes – though, as always, I’m ready and willing to be proven wrong. LOL I guess a lot would depend upon what else was involved in the outfit.)

I know what you mean about the double leather, I feel like it’s a bit much for me too and not really certain if that’s something I can pull off. I think you need to be tough and have more of a rock chic attitude for that kind of look. That’s cool you noticed just the one bracelet as well, I didn’t know if anyone would notice!

Yes, conventional wisdom says that you’d need to be tough with a rock chic attitude – but I guess one way around that is to deliberately and experimentally subvert the tough girl double leather look to soften it and twist it to your personal style rather than twisting your personal style to it? 🙂 Though I appreciate that that isn’t what people are asking for. LOL

Great look Lorna! Love that you incorporated brown and black and that you wore a belt! You look amazing and no doubt are a model now! Best of luck with all future posts and your career! I’ve been telling you for years that you’re a celebrity, but those just confirms it!

Thanks! Yeah, it’s a great combination and I thought the belt was a good pairing with it, just to break it up a little bit. I’m definitely not a celebrity, lol.

Stunning and so cool Lorna! Amazing rocker chic! I loved All Saints when I visited in Paris, I so have to look at them again. The shoes and bag really make this a killer look. My favorite style of jacket for myself and on you!

Gorgeous combination as always. Love that you mixed leather with the suedes, it really makes it a lot more interesting than just go leather on leather!

Btw, something that I’ve wondered for a while: what camera and lens do you use? 🙂 x

I really like your look Lorna. Perhaps you can show us the all black look in the winter months. Leather and suede are perfect. The weather has been very undecided lately. Cool one day steaming hot the next. Makes it very hard to plan. I love your pigalles.

I know! It has been, it does make it very difficult to wear what you planned as you have to dress for the weather instead. Glad you love the Pigalle, I know we both have a fondness for Louboutin!

i LOVE this jacket <3 I was considering purchasing it in the granite color, but I'm not sure of what size to get. Normally I'm an xs/00 in outerwear for places like J.Crew or Express. But I've heard All Saints can run small. Did this jacket run small for you?

Hi Natalie, I’ve never tried Express or J.Crew outerwear, but in my experience for British clothes, ALLSAINTS runs large. I’m typically a UK 6-8 in outerwear or sweaters from places like Topshop, River Island etc, but I take a UK 6 in ALLSAINTS. Some of my leather jackets are even a UK 4 as they run large and are stretchy. You’re supposed to buy them really tight so they stretch out, but I’m not really sure what a XS or 00 is equal to. I think that’s about a UK 2 isn’t it? But this one is definitely a UK 6 on me. Thanks!
