SkinnyDip London iPhone 6 Liquid Glitter Case Review

I know my blog is mainly for fashion, beauty and lifestyle, meaning I don’t often do tech pieces here, even though I’m very much into them, but I thought I would change that up a little bit and showcase my gorgeous iPhone case. I bought this SkinnyDip London Liquid Glitter Case with silver glitter and pink stars inside for my iPhone 6 back in November. I purchased it from Topshop after debating for a few weeks whether or not I’d be ok with its price tag. I decided to get it as an early Christmas gift to myself as I couldn’t stop staring at how pretty the case was each time I walked by it. As it turns out, I haven’t taken it off my phone since the day I purchased it!

I thought I would do a little review on the SkinnyDip case here in case any of you love them or have been contemplating buying one of the Skinny Dip cases. They make some absolutely gorgeous styles for various phones and not all of them are liquid glitter, but that’s what I fell in love with most. So, in short, this phone case is AMAZING! The case features water inside of it on the back with silver irredescent glitter and fuchsia pink sequin stars. These are much like a snow globe in the sense that when you move the phone around, the glitter falls and follows, creating a fantastic effect (you can see in my video below) which is just so beautiful. That’s what truly made me fall in love with this case in the first place. The fit is great too, it’s secure and it actually makes the awkward slimness of the iPhone 6 a lot better as it gives it some depth to hold onto, making it secure in your hand.

I know a few people have mentioned air bubbles appearing in their cases over time as the water evaporates, which I can imagine happening since that happens in snow globes too, but so far since I’ve had it through Winter, I haven’t had this trouble. Hopefully it doesn’t do it in the Summer when it warms up though, I will be gutted. As it is right now, it’s absolutely perfect. It even goes with the gold tone of my iPhone which I was worried about. I thought a silver iPhone might be more appropriate, but I love it against the gold even more as you can really see the glitter stand out. The case itself is made of a thick, sturdy and clear plastic, so all you can see mostly is the glitter and sequins inside. I can’t even stress to you how stunning it actually is. Just look at the video for yourself!

I thought posting my SkinnyDip Liquid Glitter iPhone Case now would be a good idea since it’s Valentine’s Day soon and I know it would make a great, special gift for any of you guys or girls looking to treat a special lady (either friend or partner) in your life. Like I mentioned above, there’s various colours of glitter and liquid and even cute metal designs with bees or plastic unicorns. It’s definitely a brand for those of you who love girly things like I do! It’s one of my best purchases for my phone for sure! What do you think of it? Buy this exact case for iPhone 5C here and you can shop all of the SkinnyDip iPhone Cases here at Topshop and online here at ASOS.

That video is insanely mesmerising! I’ve certainly heard of people being addicted to iPhones but this raises the possibility of being addicted to an iPhone case… 😀 It’s probably very relaxing to spend a few minutes watching that after a stressful day. Very nice indeed. 🙂

It is definitely very cool to do that! It’s fun to try and race the stars too and get all the glitter down as fast as you can!

Yes, that very aspect of it is triggering extremely vague memories of a toy of some kind from my childhood – but I don’t know what it is that I’m thinking of as I can’t manage to properly extract the memory. :/ Grrr! This is going to drive me nuts if it doesn’t come to me. LOL

Lol! It reminds me also of those water games where you press the button and it shoots air into the water to blow the things inside around!

This is so gorgeous! I really want to get my hands on an Iphone 6S (I currently have the 5S) so I can go ahead and buy all the cases I want. I haven’t really been buying many because I know I’m buying a new one soon (hopefully)
