A long white waistcoat with black skinny jeans and loafers
I have an outfit that we shot a couple of weeks ago before I went on holiday to St. Ives but didn’t have time to post yet. These were taken in the park in town when Adam and I had gone out for a little while. You might have noticed recently in my looks that I have taken more to wearing flats when I’m out lately, this is purely because of my stomach issues and wearing high heels for a longer time causes me to be uncomfortable at the moment, so you might be getting an increase of flat shoes lately with the odd heel thrown in. I’m ok with this though since it’s comfortable and I have a great selection of flats though!
I was wearing my Citizens of Humanity Rocket skinny jeans in Axel again, like I usually choose if I want a black skinny! I paired them with a simple grey tank top and then layered on my River Island white long line waistcoat to smarten it up a bit. I’ve been heavily into sleeveless smarter jackets like this, as I’m sure you might have noticed actually, so this crisp white one was a great addition to my collection! For my accessories, I went with my Louis Vuitton Alma BB in Fuchsia Epi Leather and finished it off with my Giuseppe Zanotti loafers and some various jewellery.
I find it funny actually just how much my likes and tastes in clothing have changed just in this year alone. I really do find myself gravitating towards more classic pieces now, usually in the shades of white, grey, brown or black and drifting away from brightly coloured clothing. Instead now I like to just add colour with my accessories and unless I’m being super casual on a day out, I don’t like to wear t-shirts much anymore either. I’m definitely wondering what I might end up drifting towards next year! What do you think of my outfit? I’d love to know!

A bit of a tongue-twister you’ve got going on in your title today. I stumbled on it and I wasn’t even saying it outloud. 😉 LOL
I think the two words that immediately spring to mind upon looking at these photos are “beauty” and “elegance”. It’s a great look and, for what it’s worth, I think flat shoes suit you very nicely. 🙂
Interesting to read what you say about your tastes changing. I’ve not been reading your blog long enough to notice any very major changes but I think that you’re very clever about how you use colour. I’m far less subtle about colour… Mind you we men, on the whole, don’t have much in the way of accessories (in my case just a wristwatch usually) so if we want bright colours we just have to wear them in our clothes. At least that’s my personal excuse… 😀 LOL

Thank you 🙂 I’m really glad you like the outfit and the photos. Did you like the scenery and location too? I do love flat shoes, but it does depend on the angle of the photos as some of them can make me look short so I go on tip toes a lot!
Maybe if you head through some of my archives you might see, but I wouldn’t advise it! A lot of my older photos are terrible and make me cringe lol! I don’t like going back through them. You are right on men not really having many accessories though, I never thought of that 🙂

Oh yes, the location is very pretty – and cleverly used. The photo of you leaning against those 3 horizontal bars had me puzzled for a moment – until I scrolled down and saw the next photo and a little cartoon light bulb inside my head lit up. 😉
Anyway, that one of you leaning against the bench is my favourite of this batch. The dark bars at the bottom of the photo and then the dark leaves at the top serve to frame your outfit wonderfully.
Hmm, yeah, I’ll have to at least check out your first few posts in your archive and see how you began. 🙂
And it’s always a pleasure to visit your site and see your latest post and give my thoughts – though I know I can be a bit garrulous online – it’s no wonder that Twitter never worked out for me. 140 characters or less? I can’t do it. LOL

Ha ha, given that I like to type lots in my blog posts means I sometimes struggle with Twitter too and I never like to shorthand anything, only use proper words (except for lol!), so it can become quite tricky! 🙂
That’s funny you didn’t know it was a bench until you saw the other photo! I think my favourite one is the main one I used at the top, hiding in the tree. I quite like how that one turned out 🙂
That’s a nice one too. It’s quirky and has slight undertones of Christmas, I think. Or maybe that’s just my brain being silly again? 🙂
