Feeling Nautical With Glitter

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! It’s getting closer to February and the changes to be made on my blog, so I’m feeling really inspired and excited about it! This weekend was a fairly quiet one for me though, Adam came down after two weeks of not seeing each other, so it was nice to spend time together. We ate in our favourite pizza restaurant and wandered around town for a while, did our usual things and just enjoyed the weekend.

Getting to my outfit though, we shot these photos a few weeks ago when I put together something nautical inspired with stripes and navy. I was wearing my James Jeans Couture Skinnies with a Zara Navy Blazer which was layered over my Striped Tee from GAP. For the accessories, I wore my Jimmy Choo Wheel Shoes in Petrol Glitter and my Cambridge Satchel Push Lock Bag in Red. You haven’t seen this bag yet, but I did get it a few weeks ago and I absolutely adore it! I will be reviewing it soon for you as well, so stay tuned for February!

On another note, there have been so many deals and sales around at the moment, I’ve actually ended up spending so much of my money on impulse and without intending to. I’m always one that struggles to pass up a great deal and I always feel like I have to take advantage of discount codes, like the ones on the VouchaCodes website, for all of my favourite stores or passing by the sale rail in town. I’ve actually ended up with some gorgeous pieces which I truly can’t wait to share with you in the coming weeks! I’ve been planning outfits like crazy! Have any of you bought some new pieces? And I’d love for you to comment and let me know what you think of my outfit!

Super cute look. I do a lot of sailing during the summer so I’m bias to stripes and almost anything that reminds me of the nautical style. I love it, you look adorable.

Nice look! Love all the navy. I always love your picks of bags. Is yours the mini or the regular size push lock bag?

It’s the regular sized one, the mini is a lot narrower, more tall than wide. I think that one would have been too small for me which is why I chose the regular one. I did put the link to buy it too just under my first photo. Thank you so much Susie!

Thank you for leaving an honest comment. I don’t think style needs to change though as it reflects your personality and who you are, I’ve always been a skinny jeans and blazer type of girl, and though I mix it up quite often on my blog, with layers, different shoes, dresses, skirts etc, outfits I gravitate towards and feel comfortable in are those that represent my style and personality. I might be in a blazer and jeans again, but I haven’t paired them with a striped top and glittery shoes before, which is different, but maybe if you scroll through my posts for a few months you might see a lot of my outfits are very different from one another? I will admit it’s hard to make outfits completely different in the middle of Winter, it’s so cold it’s just difficult. But thank you for your comment!
