The Road To Nowhere, not only the name of the jumper that I’m wearing, but often at times a thought process of mine when I’m feeling uninspired. I’m pretty sure it’s the same for everyone, but around the Holiday season, I always feel so lazy and don’t have the enthusiasm to do much, so when I get back into working properly, I always feel like I can’t be bothered, ha ha. I’ve recently come out of that mindset though after scrolling through pages of my blog to inspire me again! I already mentioned that I will be making some changes in February as I have January to get things sorted out, but I wanted to share this outfit with you first as it’s one I’ve been meaning to shoot for a while!
I had fallen in love with this Ted Baker Road To Nowhere Jumper when I saw it on a mannequin in their window many months ago, back in Summer. I thought it was gorgeous, but I wasn’t able to pay the retail amount for it. It went on sale at House of Fraser before Christmas so I snapped it up in an instant! I wasn’t sure on my sizing since Ted Baker run in 0-4 numbers, but I found out I was size 1, which I think is a UK 8 for those wondering about the sizing. It’s so pretty though! Sometimes I just stare at the print, it’s that gorgeous!
I paired it with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans in Axel and tucked those into my new Sam Edelman Petty Suede Boots. I layered on my Zara Black Coat to keep me warm and also had a t-shirt under the jumper since it’s freezing! Then for the accessories, I got to choose this gorgeous pink and blue bobble hat from Zaini Hats to style and I love it! It’s so well made and really pretty! Then finally, I finished it off with my ever faithful Balenciaga Mini City in Black Suede. I really like how this combination turned out as I love mixing bright colours with black, to really make it pop!
