We shot these photos at the Botanical Gardens on the evening of my birthday and I absolutely love how they came out. I wanted to do something a little different which is why I used the sunflowers instead of a bag. The light was absolutely perfect and the setting was beautiful too. There’s always next to nobody there so we often get the park to ourselves and just enjoy the down time.
I put these gorgeous AG Jeans The Legging Ankle in 11 Years Swap Meet on (I am obsessed with these, they are amazing) and gave my boyfriend a challenge. I asked him to style the rest of the outfit and this is what he came up with! He chose the River Island top and my Jimmy Choo Melba boots to go with the jeans, keeping it classic, then he asked if I had a pretty scarf to add some colour. I recently got this gorgeous Londali blue floral scarf to style from the brand and I think it was the perfect accompaniment for the look.
I was actually surprised when Adam said that I should jazz the outfit up with some jewellery since he often prefers minimalist styles, but since this is me and he knows me very well, I was of course going to wear a lot of bracelets! I even wore my new Olivia Burton pink and gold watch that I received from them to wear, so it went really well with the contrasting colours. Then, to finish it off, I wore these four gold rings from Caroline Creba, which again I got to style from the brand and I think they are really cute!
Overall, I think Adam did a really good job of putting this outfit together, don’t you? I love giving him challenges since he is very much involved with Raindrops of Sapphire, being my photographer and general partner in all things related to blogging. Whenever I look at these photos they just make me smile. They are a great memory of the wonderful birthday that I had and a lovely reminder of this fantastic Summer! Please do let me know what you think of the outfit and the photos in the comments! I love reading them and hearing from other fashion bloggers too!
