A Day Out Shopping & Eating With Me…

I thought I would do something a little different for this post and make it more of a day out with me. I took photos throughout my day when I was out in town with my boyfriend, so I thought it would be a good idea to share that with you! We started out by having a light lunch in Prezzo (one of my favourite Italian restaurants) where we just had a salad, which you can see above. The rest of the day included outfit photos, shopping, walking around, coming home and watching movies while enjoying Chinese food for dinner which we ordered from Just Eat, the online takeaway provider! I hope you like it!

As you know it’s been absolutely freezing out so my outfit for the day consisted of a pair of James Jeans Twiggy Leggings in Slate and my ASOS Parka Coat in Black with one of their lighter Grey Marl Tees. I also wore my River Island Burgundy High Tops, my Topshop Cable Knit Hat and an Oasis Leopard Scarf. I made a change with my hair too and tied it up in braided pigtails. When it’s windy out and I am planning on staying out for a while, I like to tie my hair up so that it doesn’t end up really knotty and in a mess.

We then headed over to Urban Outfitters to do some shopping. This is one of my favourite stores as they always have quirky things in there to buy and some beautiful clothes. I purchased two things in there, well my boyfriend did for me as part of my Valentine’s present! I got that unicorn book which you can see just above and I also got the floral skull t-shirt which I’m wearing in the changing room. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear it properly! I did try on some denim shorts, but they just didn’t look right. They were either much too short or too awkward looking, ha ha.

Next on the list of shopping was Topshop. I’m sure you already know that it’s another one of my favourite shops and I shop there regularly, pretty much every month! They always have gorgeous jewellery and shoes, so I ended up getting a rainbow chain necklace and some really pretty pink espadrilles! I can’t wait to share those with you soon in another post though as they are for spring when the weather warms up and it stops raining! I didn’t notice that when I’m shopping I tend to have such a serious concentration face! It’s kind of funny really since I’m usually very smiley!

Later in the evening when we were home, we all ate Chinese takeaway food which we ordered through Just Eat online. When I say all of us, I mean my boyfriend and I, my mum, her husband and my brother. After a long day out the last thing anyone ever feels like doing is cooking a big meal, so it’s so much easier to order a take away online occasionally. Since I’m never overly fond of speaking to people on the telephone, I love the Just Eat website because you can order it all online without any hassle, it’s quick, easy and very straight forward, so I definitely recommend it to people if you are ordering takeaway food! So many of us love a day of shopping or even having a nice quiet night in, so having a meal that you didn’t have to cook is a great way to finish the day off!

After we ate dinner, my boyfriend and I decided to watch a movie on my Netflix and we chose Shanghai Noon with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. It was actually pretty good! So, that rounds up one of my days! I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know!

Hi, Lorna, what a beautiful post! I liked when girls make posts where they get to share their day to day life, how they spend time apart from blogging, I did enjoy reading it and the pictures are just beautiful especially the ones with the take away 🙂 I and my husband are huge fans of Chinese takeaways! I love Topshop, one of my favorite too! Have a nice week! <3 Zhanna, http://www.stylehenge.com
