Christian Louboutin Pigalle or Ron Ron in Black?

Christian Louboutin Pigalle 85 Black

I’m in need of your help! My love for Christian Louboutin shoes started a few years ago on my birthday in 2009 when I tried a pair on in Harvey Nichols in London. Since then, I ended up getting quite a few pairs after saving all of my money and spending my savings (which I do now regret) on Louboutin shoes in the sale and some even at retail! Since I was very much into colour and statement pieces back then, I never liked the look of classics, but as my taste has matured and I have grown up a lot, I find it really hard to believe that I never actually bought a classic pair of Christian Louboutin shoes! Now that I am into wearing black heels a lot with my outfits, I thought it would make sense for me to get a pair in the near future.

I do own a Pigalle 85 in Coral already, but they do hurt my feet since they are quite tight. I was thinking about trying them in a size bigger to see if they were less painful. There is just something so classic about the Pigalle (above), it has an allure to it and it’s one of Louboutin’s most famous shoes! On the other hand, I have always been partial the shape of the Ron Ron shoe below. It has a curve to it that has always attracted me and I love the fact that it’s in black suede. These shoes are a little higher at 100mm instead of 85mm, but they have more of a rounder toe so they seem like they would be less painful. They are both the same price and are both equally as gorgeous in my opinion, but this is why I need your help! Which would you choose? The Pigalle 85 in Black Leather or the Ron Ron 100 in Black Suede? Help! Or, if you like something else, have a look on Matches and let me know by clicking here.

I did also think about the gorgeous Bianca 140 in Black Leather, but I decided against these as they are really high and have a very similar shape to my Topshop heels I wear often. Plus, they cost a lot more money. I thought I would include them though as they are very pretty!

And, how amazing are these? These are the Pigalle 100 in Neptune Glitter. I have absolutely fallen in love with these and think they are stunning, however they aren’t a classic so I’m trying to put these to the back of my mind for now! Although that is really hard, ha ha.

Lorna …..my vote go’s to the ron ron . Pigalle hurt my feet so much so i cant wear them often . Bianca’s very nice but i dont think you can wear them whitout thinking how to walk whitout falling they are my eat and sit shoe’s . So i wear my ron ron’s them most .

    Hi Lorna,

You say your Louboutins are quite tight, a good method of solving this is to take a sealable food bag, part fill it with water (just enough to fill the toe area) place the sealed bag of water in the shoe and put them in the freezer. The water freezes and stretches the leather. When you take them out, after say, 24 hrs, remove the bag and put the shoes on straight away. It may be cold for a few moments but the leather will ‘mould’ to the shape of your foot (not the nasty yucky mould lol). It’s worked for my wife’s louboutins and a few other pairs.

I find the pigalle a little more elegant and classy but considering the other ones look more comfy I probably would opt for the Ron Ron’s as they are just as gorgeous! Good luck choosing!

Hey Darling! I like the Christian Louboutin Bianca 140 Black most ♥ They´re sooo beautiful 🙂 But you´ve got good reasons against them 😉
I´m searching for some “simple” black pumps since a long time now. My problem is they´re all not in the right size 🙁
But I´m still hoping to find the perfect ones someday hihi
Btw: I follow you via Bloglovin and Facebook now. Love your blog and your pictures so much. Your style is amazing ♥
    Lots of love from Germany

Thank you so much Vanessa 🙂 I’m really glad you like my blog so much! Yeah, it is hard to find them in the right size, have you tried ringing around the boutiques? They can sometimes order them in for you 🙂

    Hi Lorna,

I think am writing to you after nearly a year and a half. Sorry, was caught up with my studies, synopsis-writing, assignments, etc. But I always made it a point to read your blog and I really like the way your style has evolved. Some your Zara coats and your Cambridge satchels just make me want to raid your wardrobe!

Anyway, I thought reconnecting with a suggestion would be a good idea. The Ron Ron looks classy and comfy at the same time and suede just makes it look more gorgeous.

    Take care,

    Kalpana

Hi Kalpana!! I haven’t heard from you in ages, I didn’t know if you stopped reading or not, it’s really good to hear from you again! I’m glad you still read my blog and like it a lot, it means a lot to me! I understand about being busy though! College/uni students are some of the busiest people I know. It seems like there’s a mixed bag of votes for the Ron Ron and Pigalle, ha ha!

I love them all 🙂 The Pigalle I have never tried on but I heard are painful. I have the pigalle 100mm and they’re just right for me and very comfy! They’re similar to Ron Ron but are great to wear out as they aren’t too high to walk in.

Hi dear, did you already got heels you love?
I’d love you to get the RonRon, you’d like to have the black heels. Because they will be fitted your elegant, casual jeans and conservative style. and will make you ranked up. That’s my thinking, I hope you get heels you really love in!
