Rebecca Minkoff Lilac Mini Mac & Mint Mini 5 Zip

I have always had a lust for Rebecca Minkoff mini bags as I just love the way they look, but for a really long time I never felt like I should purchase one as I didn’t know if they were really my style. My mind changed though as soon as I saw the new spring colours of lilac and mint. I wasn’t sure on the lilac mini mac at first when I bought it, but it quickly grew on me! The things throwing me off originally were how heavy the bag was for a small cross body and generally it not being very stand out. I ended up changing my mind though the more I looked at it and tried it on and it’s become one of my favourites. I think the subtlety of the pastel purple is really nice for a change.

So that was my first Rebecca Minkoff bag and I got it at the beginning of April last month. I had been deciding between the two, the mini mac in lilac and the mini 5 zip in mint, but I decided on the purple first due to it being more versatile for me. The mini 5 zip in mint actually went out of stock not long after, so my thoughts of purchasing it in the future were squashed. I was looking online for some weeks in the hope that it would come back in stock, and eventually it did! So I never even hesitated and snapped it up quickly.

Buying both of these blew out my shopping budget for about 2 months though which is why I haven’t been buying anything else ha ha. I really love these 2 bags and think they are so pretty. I have quickly gotten used to the weight of them and I don’t find it that bad at all. Even though these are my first 2 Rebecca Minkoff bags, I think I can safely say they will be my only 2 as well. Not because I don’t love her bags, but simply because I have one of each of the styles and I don’t like to repeat on colours if I have them in other bags. It may depend though in the future if an amazing colour comes out, we will have to see. But as it stands at the moment, I’m happy with my collection of 2!

Do any of you own a Rebecca Minkoff? Also, would you like me to do a video review of these bags as well on my YouTube channel? I definitely can if you would like me to! You can buy the Rebecca Minkoff mini bags online at Shopbop.com where I purchased them.

I don’t own anything Rebecca Minkoff unfortunately. They’re beyond my budget but I do lust them. 😉
I like both colors and designs.

Oh thank you Ginny! When you say blue, did you mean the lilac or mint?

Hi! I just came across your blog because I’m thinking of buying the RM mini mac in lilac. I wanted to know if you had an problems with your clothes such as a jeans rubbing off on the bag since it’s such a light color? Thank you!

Hi, I probably haven’t worn it enough for that to happen, but since it’s such a pale colour, it suits light denim the most, so I wouldn’t wear it with black or indigo blue, which probably might transfer. Good luck with yours! Where did you manage to find Lilac as it’s about 3 seasons old now?

Thanks for your comments =) I read & reply every one =)
