So as promised, here are my purchases from London from the weekend. For those of you who missed the post (you can see it here). I said I would reveal what was hiding in the shopping bags as soon as I could and here everything is! Since everything was insanely hectic in London, I never tried anything on, I usually just analyze the item and I can tell from looking at it if it will fit me, so I just take what I think will fit and hope for the best. Luckily everything worked out perfectly!
Above (left) is a LOVE burgundy maxi skirt which I picked up at Topshop on Oxford Street and (right) an elephant necklace from Urban Outfitters. As you know burgundy is a weakness of mine and I couldn’t resist the colour and the elephant is just adorable! I have had my eye on it for some time.
Above is a Pull and Bear khaki jacket with faux leather sleeves. Again, I got this on Oxford Street as I passed by the store. It’s much better suited to me than the Topshop version that I wanted in my wish list because this one has a drawstring waist and the other one doesn’t, so it looked too boxy. I much prefer it when brands take masculine items and make them feminine. If you want a masculine item you can just buy a men’s version, so that’s why I favoured this one instead. I did give you a preview of this worn on Instagram (@LornaRaindrops) and I love how it fits!
Above are two swallow print shirts/blouses from Forever 21 which I picked up. I had never been in Forever 21 before, in fact I didn’t even know we had the store over here, but it was more amazing than I thought. Everything is so cheap in there and they have really cute items, so as you can see I picked the same shirt in both colour combinations as I fell in love with it. I will have an outfit post soon with the cream version, so stay tuned for that tomorrow or Friday!
Above are three necklaces from Forever 21. They also have amazing jewellery for a cheap price. When I picked them up, I was expecting Topshop prices and thinking around £10-15, however they were under £5! So I picked up the two owls which were so cute and a beaded crystal long necklace. The left owl necklace will also be making an appearance soon in my next outfit post.
And last but not least, on the left is another Forever 21 item, a polka dot dress and on the right is my new iPhone case from Urban Outfitters. I love the fact that it’s ombre and of course, you know I love cats, so I’m completely loving it right now. The polka dot dress, I never tried on like I mentioned, so I thought that the button way around (as pictured) was the front, so when I tried it on at home, I was wondering why it was so tight in the chest and uncomfortable, that’s when I realised that I had it on the wrong way around *shakes head* and the buttons are actually the back detail… But anyway, the dress is really cute and I like it ha ha.
So these are all of my purchases. Which do you like the most? I can actually say the iPhone case and the elephant necklace were ordered online. I wouldn’t have had time to do loads of shopping in London so I had a 15% code and snapped them up on their website and they arrived yesterday, so I wanted to include them.
