Double Denim & Cowboy Boots

My boyfriend and I saw this really sweet little street in town over the weekend and it reminded me so much of a side street in Italy. I even love the flags draped across the tops of the buildings.

For this outfit I was really excited to wear my new cowboy style boots. It’s taken me a long time to be able to find a pair that I liked and that didn’t look silly on my feet. I have quite big feet for my height and size so normally they just make me look like a clown but these ones don’t.

I’m wearing a Topshop denim shirt, MET skinny jeggings, a H&M tee, my Ash Hysteria Boots from Spartoo, my Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie clutch, a Topshop pink ring, an Urban Outfitters Deer necklace and H&M gold bangles.

As always there are lots more photos if you click this post. Even though I have had this denim shirt for a year now, it’s still one of my go to pieces at the moment. I love it! It seems to go with anything.

    Hey Lorna,

Love your blog – you look great in this post!
Bit of a random question, I was wondering where you have bought your most comfy pair of heels from?
You seem to have a fabulous collection ranging from Louboutins to Topshop heels! But I always have such difficulty finding heels that I can actually last 5+ hours when I go out and that also look great! I own one pair of Louboutins but they’re incredibly uncomfortable so I never wear them which is such a shame!
I think i’m of a similar build and height to you ( I too wear size 27 jeans and im about 5’4 ) so perhaps that might help?!
Anyway, any help will much greatly appreciated! 🙂

      Thanks Shanice! 🙂

Sabeen, the only pair of heels I can stay in for a long amount of time is the Elizabeth & James E-More booties I wore to the wedding, the black peep toe ones. I generally find Elizabeth & James shoes really comfortable. My Louboutins are not comfy either and they hurt my feet, I struggle to stay in them a long amount of time. My Topshop ones are quite painful too unless they are wedges. For me it depends on the steepness of the shoe, if the steepness is around 3 inches but the actual shoe is 5 inches, say it has a 5 inch heel and 2 inch platform then I would find those really comfy. When it comes to normal heels, with 4 inch steepness, I am yet to find a pair that are bearable for more than a few hours lol 🙂

Marta, I haven’t been to Italy yet actually, I am obsessed with the country though! I love to look at photos, videos and movies set in Italy. I’m hoping to come at the beginning of next year though 😀 Where are you in Italy? 🙂
