Hi Debra, they don’t go by waist sizing, 29 is equivalent to a size UK 11 so just above a UK 10. They are very low rise so it would work out as the hip measurement but like I said the sizing number isn’t to do with the inches. What size jeans do you wear?

I wear a 4 to 6 / US Size. Want to make sure I am not getting something too small. Do they stretch?
I have an idea, why don’t you measure the waist aligned laid flat of your jeans and the rise and I will measure these ones of mine and you can compare?

Would a 29 mean that the waistband of the jean measures 29 inches?
What about low rise or midrise…. would that type of jean require selecting a larger size that fits your hip measurement?

A 4 to 6 in US sizes I believe is a 26 – 28. They do have stretch in them but not very much. Where did you manage to find them, on Yoox?
